TL;DW:
- The Completionist has been taking funds raised for charity and pocketing it himself (allegedly)
- Apparently the explanation on his end is that the money wasn’t pocketed personally but has just been sitting in the account and hasn’t been able to get to the charities for whatever complicated BTS or legalistic reasons
- Another factor seems to be “admin costs,” meaning it’s possible he didn’t know what was going on but has hired a bunch of scummy people who are misallocating funds in his name.

The most disturbing thing to me is twofold:
First completionist knew about the situation for at least a year (assuming he didnt lie), so why not tell about it?
And secondly, in the conversation with Jobst and Mutahar, he basically insinuated that this is a drama done just for content... like bruh
2 things that make it worse, he probably didnt say anything because its his family who runs the org, so its possible this is the fault of someone close to him like his brother.
and then, the org tried to take down karl's video.

I hope he gets barred from ever running a charity or a charity adjacent organization. This kind of negligence is disgusting if we can even chalk it up to that.
Further more, I don't think that everyone on that board is dumb enough to not know where that money should go. 100k is way too much to waste for "operational fees" and at this point is clearly being nonchalantly wasted without concern for the people that donated.

Because the money donation is wanted to be used on research not doctor salaries which are not needed to be subsidised because they make more than the average US citizen.

@@demon2441 paying for research isn’t just paying for wages. All the equipment and resources too. Also when referring to doctors I think he’s referring to one’s who treat patients and stuff. Indeed people carrying out research may be doctors but are not necessarily the same who work with patients.

There is no statute I'm aware of that mandates when funds from a non-profit have to be disbursed. Unless someone is using the donations for other purposes, there is nothing wrong here. The optics are awful and I sense negligence at least, but it's his money to do with as he sees fit within certain parameters. He can give it away when he's damned good and ready.
