Pyro when I turn on a video and fall asleep to it, I usually watch the first 5 min, i think a better experiment would be for there to be visual parts in the beginning and then cut off at some point. And then you can look at the retention data

2:30 - hope this isn't just a bit cuz I love actually watching ur main channel vids and don't want them to just turn into podcasts. sometimes I watch them while I do other things, but mostly I watch them in like 20 minute segments over a week or so...
I would think it would be really funny if the next channel vid is just a 3 hour video and its just pitch black, but also I think the visual watchers do REALLY like the parts in the vid where its really nicely edited and visually appealing. but do it for the funny. Well Pyro, little do you know that my first watch of a new main channel video always has my full attention. I watch it in parts, but don't take my eyes off the video. Once I went through the whole video, I always come back to them and let them play out in the background while browsing or drawing. Your content is great, much love.

To be fair, I put Pyro’s longform videos on in the background only AFTER I’ve watched them attentively the first time. I watch it the first time to get all the juicy edits and bits of info, and then in the background so I can work and also pick up bits of info I might’ve missed. Works wonders for Max0r videos too if you can’t handle the editing on a first viewing or didn’t pick up most of the jokes.
