With the quotes the report included, along with what Dawn has hinted at in the past regarding how much longer she wants to coach, she could get a lifetime contract which would allow for a smooth transition. With the game and sports continuing to change due to NIL, transfer portal, etc. I can see Dawn setting up for the next chapter after she retires.
If not a lifetime contract, she definitely deserves a raise and should be the highest paid coach.

Dawn will stay coaching as long as the keeps winning and getting national titles. Once the team is facing a significant rebuild then she will retire. It’s easier to coach a winning team than to go through a rebuild. That’s why Tara and Lisa Bluder retired. They didn’t have the energy to start all over again
Maybe. She just had a massive rebuild though and handled it impressively. With NIL and the portal, rebuilds of now are nothing like the rebuilds of old.
She's already said she isn't planning on staying long like the Genos and Taras.... I think she cares more about the character of the players she gets. I think that would influence how long she stays. Not necessarily the overall talent.
Her next step is the W or possibly the NBA.

Yes dawn is the goat and she deserves it, I remember south carolina wasn't like that, but things take time and now is one of the most powerful house and give a shout out to dawn cause now south carolina boys too getting good but I'm a south carolina football and women basketball fan but I'm a Tarheel boys basketball but being at the woman basketball games is sooo lit
Spurrier, talked about how much he and his family loved SC before he dipped out in the middle of the season, so we will see how long Staley sticks around.
High rate of burnout in coaching . Lifetime scenario never ends well for either side. Lots of variables.

The fact that you care the LSU game time is laughable....we are 5-7 and not really that good....we are looking to be lucky to win 5 or 6 this coming season.
Travis, I flat out said last season’s record was the reason they didn’t get a great start time for the LSU game.
