- Video made for a student working with me. If you've spent some time with me then you've seen and heard all of this. I make videos for golfers and post them. They help others at the same time. It's amazing once we got on the same page with a philosophy and start working together a lot of information passes between us. I really never expect anyone I'm working with to remember it all the first go round. So I make this videos mainly for golfers I've worked with. I speak to one it applies and relates to many. The more you hear as I talk you tend to pick up little Key Pieces for you in videos I do for others. That is the intent. So If you see something in here that triggers a thought please comment. Thanks Dalton

The first time i ever broke par I shot 3 under at Recreation Park (Big Course) with 1967 Sam Snead irons counting "one and roll". I hit every fairway and 16 greens. I ended up playing the Golden State Tour in California with 4 wins. 20 top 10's and passed the PGA P.A.T. Thank you Dalton!!!
These lessons are best!! Bought them back in the 90’s and they worked for me thanks Dalton!!
Hi dalton bought your videos in late 90's gave me confidence to enter a local golf tournament was a prize for longest drive of the day there were some real big hitters going for it but none of them were straight. I won longest drive just by keeping it straight. All thanks to you.
Hi Dalton, me and my dad used to watch your videos (vhs) religiously, by far the best stuff out there, whilst we know most of the drills and sayings, keep your hands by your money, don't drop into the no-drop zone, we've tried getting the old tapes up and running but think they are too old, the drill video especially is the one we miss. Any chance these are available in digital formats?
Hi Dalton been following you and your swing philosophy since mid to late 90s.
I watch the vhs videos I bought then, usually
At the start of the golfing season. Having watched your demonstration just now I picked up a couple of small tips it’s cool
Please keep it going have subscribed
Ps I’m seventy and currently playing off 6 handicap with your swing technique
Wonderful, I have a bunch of videos that if you've watched to Original Tapes will make since. They aren't in an order otherwise but my email is above several time so don't hesitate to drop a line if you need some direction.
Great to see your still teaching. Love your system
Thank you DJ. Have a question please ask. You can message me on Facebook too.
Great stuff Dalton. Love the way you break it down. 🙏
Glad you liked it!
Awesome!
I ordered your video years ago. I received the video on a saturday. That day i had played the first round of a member member tournament with my Dad. I shot a 114 with a bad slice. Watch the video and did the drills over night and shot an 84 on sunday and hit the ball straight. Went down to a 6 handicap.
I love it whan I hear stories like this. Very glad it helped your confidence.
Wish your straight shooting system was available on dvd. My VHS tapes have long since died. I’d love to have them to keep watching over and over.
Wayne, give me your email address and let me send you one. I have the tapes on Drop Box.
@@DaltonMcCrary Thank you very much. I love the whole system. Works really well for me unless I do something wrong, such as lift my head as rolling. You’re a true gent. My email is waynethomas.4945@gmail.com
Can’t thank you enough. 👍
@@DaltonMcCrary Dalton, If possible, I would really appreciate it if you could share the Drop Box videos of Straight Shooting Golf with me. My VHS ones are a distant treasured memory. My email address is da19mf@icloud.com Thanks David
Dalton, in a previous post you asked for my email. I replied as requested so now I’m waiting for the drop box link. Thanks.
@@DaltonMcCrary my email address is. waynethomas.4945@gmail.com
Thanks very much
Fantastic Dalton , I hope you are well. Please can you do some more instruction videos , thanks again for all you have done.
Bought this teaching program in the late 90's it worked immediately. Me and a friend went out on a Saturday and played an 18 hole par 3. Was just 4 over the best round ever on that course! My friend still talks about it today. Dalton is awesome! Come out with an online teaching format or a DVD and I will buy it.
My online deal is simple open up your own CZcams channel and download videos. Send them to me and that way I can pull off still pictures that we can discuss. That's the easiest way.
Looking good ole timer....been with ya since 98
You need to drop my a line too. daltonstr8golf@gmail.com
I've paid for 3 golf lessons in my life (many years ago), the first I walked out on (clueless talker) and the second I eventually showed the instructor how to hit the shot I came for help on that he couldn't perform (drawing a short iron). No more of this I thought, but then I met a really quality player, one I had played a round with earlier (him later becoming a euro senior PGA player) and starting the lesson executing my take on Dalton's 'method' I had absorbed from VHS tapes, hit a dozen 7 irons followed by half dozen 3 woods, all solid with great trajectories and straight (well slight cut on couple of the 3 woods). No talking during these shots, he suddenly stops me saying, 'DON'T ever change what you're doing, how's your putting?' Still makes me smile!
Thanks for the nice words. I'm very glad it helped you.
Neutral grip, elbows in(Ben Hogan Five lessons), weight shift, one and roll and you got it!
Hi Dalton, Another great video! I just got myself a buggy tyre to practice with but wanted to know what you are using to pack it (ie the yellow stuff) as mine isn't quite as flat to strike against.
This really works
Bought the Straight Shootin VHS tapes and the putting video too. Play them until they wore out. Confidence comes from making putts. The best instruction ever. Is it available on DVD or download?

Hi, what's the role of right arm and hand. Is right arm and hand powering the swing for more carry distance
no role - Golf is a left handed game
@@CMEAGAIN okay.. so that means right arm and hand is just to support left arm.
@@ramansharda9269 correct, you pull the chain not push it.
@@CMEAGAIN got it and thanks for your reply 👍
Well yes, but the left needs to be in control. As my smart old GrandFather once told me. God dammit son, you pull a chain your don't push it.
Just get rid of the tire. Use a bag. Easier on the joints
I was taught by Jim Flick...swing the arms and shoulders will turn. Many different ways to skin a cat
No not really, but there are many ways of stating the golf swing.
Dalton, do you still give lessons?
yes in Dallas
