I’m 17 and I lost both my grandmas at a young age and when your grandma teaches me how to make arroz con leche while my mom is at work it makes me emotional and pls thank her for allowing me to relive those moments with my abuelita and that I love her very much ; )
I’ve need following you guys for years, your grandma has taught me a lot of great plates I cook now but I really started watching her because she reminded me soooo much of my grandma and just hearing her would comfort me as if my grandma was talking to me. RIP

Gosh im so happy I found this, My grandmother recently passed away in July 2021. She had dementia and before it had gotten bad she used to always make this for us. I have only seen her make it a few times and couldnt remember for the life of me how. But after watching this I remember it was almost identical to this recipe. She would always add it a little brown sugar to it and dust the top with ground cinnamon :) I miss her so much but now ill be able to keep her memory alive and teach it to my kids one day
