  • Arroz con Leche is an easy dessert to make if you make the white rice ahead of time and then add the cream, sugar, cinnamon and more! I personally love having rice pudding warm, but sometimes it can take a long time to make. In today’s video, I show you my trips and tricks to making these easy arroz con leche cremoso (creamy!). All you need is rice, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. In fact, I will show you exactly the way that my grandmother used to make it with lime peels, which gave it a classic Dominican flavor. Don’t forget to join the Chef Zee family & subscribe!
    Ingredients:
2 Cups Cooked White Rice (Long or Medium Grain)
    3 Cups Evaporated Milk
    1 Cup Whole Milk
    1 ½ Cups of Sugar
    2 inch Lime Peel
    3 Cinnamon Sticks
    1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
    ½ tsp Ground Cloves
    Ground Cinnamon for Garnish
    Sweetened Condensed Milk *optional

Hi, I loveeee your channel and you help me go back to my child hood when mi abuela used to cook all of this. She recently passed so I want to learn all her cuban dishes and you have them all 💙 thank you so much. I want to request if you could make a video on toastada cubana (cuban bread and butter toasted for those who don’t know) for breakfast. You know how cubans love their toastada for breakfast con cafe con leche. I mean however you make that breakfast do so, I just do not see any videos on Cuban toastada on CZcams and I think there should be although it is very simple. Again thank you for this beautiful channel and I hope you can make the video for us 💙💙💙💙

Que triste? Dique cashew milk, more like nut pudding. I’m playing pero no, like get him an allergy test and medicine so he can eat dairy again. Allergies can be cured if you’re willing to endure the discomfort for 6-18 months. What’s a bit of discomfort for a lifetime of yum? Well, ninja keep eating your nut pudding

I usualy use plant based milk for healthier version but i have to admit now that i ve done your recipe it is the very best for a creamy rice pudding. Regarding sugar 1/2 cup was more than enough. Amazing flavour and so much easier to make and quicker than on the stove for the rice part. Let s just see what the dominican guy in the house has to say about it lol thanks! Love your recipes!

Can you add raisins and nutmeg
I'm Puerto Rican and I was taught to make the tea but this shortcut makes it easy for me, usually, a little long process, especially grating coconut, squeezing the coconut milk, too much work, and I was taught this way but my hand and arms get tired especially when I do this by myself. Thank you for the shortcuts.❤
