      I mean it depends how long you want it to last, it’ll be easy to remove so if you just needed to connect pipes for a short time it’s not a terrible idea, long as it’s low pressure.

      I would suggest is more of a hobby-project thing, PVC pipes aren't just used for actual plumbing. It might help a lot in a pipe blown emergency kind of situation, stiffen up the break and distribute pressure so you can throw half a roll of ductape over it to limit the water damage when you don't have access to the stopcock. Plumbers don't have teleporters, they take a while to show up.

    Next time a bolt is stuck in the engine block i now know that i can just drill a hole in the side of the threads for my wd-40. thanks for the cool trick!

    You don’t have to drill at an angle near the tip of a bolt to put in WD-40, it works on its own but the better one is PB Blaster for stuck rusty bolts

      I feel like the guy behind this channel has never actually used a tool in his life, and just started buying tools and doing random things he deems might be useful. Spoiler alert: they never are, and his lack of topical knowledge means they’re often quite unsafe if used like he recommends.
      At the end of the day I’m just glad that everyone knows to never use any of these stupid tricks.

    You don't need holes in the head of a bolt to twist some wire.. just put the two or three or seven strands of wire into the chuck of your drill..tighten the chuck and push the trigger couple of times...

    Probably just want to use a impact drill or a wrench with a longer handle for the first one. Or take the wrench, put a long pipe on it, and then twist it with the higher torque

    WD 40 is a water displacer. Not a lubricant. WD stands for water displacer. Made to spray the outside of rocket Fuel tanks so the water would not stick during fueling due to condensation and they would not have to worry about ice formation on the tanks.

      WD dries up. It is silicone spray not oil. It might have some lubricating properties but it doesn’t last long because it dries up. Never use it in a paint shop. Paint won’t stick to silicone. I use Gibbs.

      DO NOT use the water bottle PVC pipe "tip". As someone who was licensed to do work on water mains and water filtration systems, it will not hold under any real pressure. That will blow at like 5 psi. Water lines run 10-20 times that pressure

    Tried it. Drilling through hardened steel is alot harder than it looks. Even a titanium drill bit can't do it.
