Fastest and Most Accurate way to Mark and Cut!

- This is the fastest and most accurate way I’ve found to mark and cutout just about anything! Use your actual piece of material and physically transfer marks to it. This will reduce a ton of error and reduce need to accurately read a tape measure. It’s already super confusing being American and using a standard tape measure instead of metric so I’m all for it! What do you think? Useful or pointless?
I do sell post frame building plans that contain all of our building details including the structure I’m working on the video!

This is a good book. Does provide a step by step introduction to how to build things czcams.com/users/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 , also does offer some steps. Includes pictures to give you ideas for layouts and such. If you are looking for a guide, this is not exactly what you want. But if you are trying to familiarize yourself with the way that pole barn building and other out buildings, are made, then this will work just as you need it to. A few things in this book are a barn (of course), detached garage, storage building, and coops.

Use the same procedure with exterior siding when you hit outlets, taps, etc. Works.
The essence of this video is what I teach my kids when the opportunity presents itself.
You don't always have to know the exact number in inches or centimeters to measure something and a lot of times it is easier, faster, and more accurate to do what was done in the video.
How was this faster? Kudos on you though for telling your kid that learning math is not important… Because heaven forbid they should be smarter than you… Literally 3/4 of this video is longer than what it would take to just measure it. Not to mention you can’t always do it this way. But you can always measure.
@@evilsWa, it's faster because you don't have to pull out a rule or a tape measure, measure, memorize or write down the measurements, etc. You simply hold the piece of wood up and make a few marks.
That's quite an assumption you got there.
