I'm crying inside watching 90 rounds of 22mag get thrown down range while I'm hoarding it like gold.
I have shot my PMR 30 with very few issues. I have installed every upgrade MCARBO has offered and believe they were worth the cost, time and effort. Will be ordering this upgrade as well. As long as you are considering an upgraded magazine, maybe you could even up the game and make it hold 40 or 50 rounds! That would be off the charts awesome! Thanks!

When shooting at a public range and you shoot your slide release off, just drop the magazine, pull the slide back and inspect the chamber, close the slide, quietly walk back to your truck and quickly place it in there. Don't say a word to anyone! You typically don't find a small piece of black plastic in gravel!

Nice upgrade. Love the PMR. I had a firing pin broke at about 1,000 rounds. Keltec cust support sent me replacement firing pin immediately. Really fun firearm but needs all these little improvements. Thanks for making them!

Oh, yeah.... lost and found my slide release button the first time I fired my pmr30 for the first time after installing everything available to upgrade the gun, boy was I upset! I was in the desert! Luckily for me my buddy has super sonic eye sight he found it! So glad you came up with this one I'm going to purchase one asap.
Last time shooting my pmr30, I felt something hit my face. Sure enough, the slide stop had come off with some velocity. Now, it seems I have a worn magazine (1 of 5). I would be very interested in Mcarbo replacements. The safety levers don't bother me but I'm definitely ordering the slide stop. Thanks Chris.

Update: Received the MCarbo Slide Stop kit on December 14, received it today December 19. Installed the slide stop. Put the gun away to let Loctite dry.
Better Mags, Definitely!! I've done the upgrade bundle, but stayed with original slide springs...now ready to change out springs and order this slide stop.

Hey Chris, If you make metal magazines for the PMR30 are you going to make new metal / stainless mag release buttons ? I can't see having a metal mag and cheap plastic button to release it. Great products, I love the all in 1 upgrade kit in my pmr, I can't wait for your stock to come in on these slide buttons. so I can get mine.
Hi Chris, I just bought a PMR 30. I was at a range near Tulsa and a father and his son were shooting their PMR 30. They even offered to let me fire a few rounds and I really liked the gun. The shop I purchased mine from did not have any ammo for it, but I did find some at an ATWOODS near me. After I got home I excitedly loaded up a mag, and hit CZcams for some more info. It was then that I discovered that the PMR 30 is inherently prone to several issues right out of the box. First off the ammo I was able to find is 30gr, which after thumbing through the manual I found out that this type of ammo is not recommended. Secondly I viewed several vids that mention the faults of the PMR 30. Then I discovered your vids and the 'Bundle' you sell for the PMR 30, and today I saw your 'slide stop' vid. I can appreciate that you have gone through all the trouble to research and remedy these issues. I am at a point where I am asking myself whether I should just return this, as of yet unfired pistol, and invest the $450 I spent for something else ready to go out of the box without having to spend another $160ish to make the PMR 30 reliable. Granted the PMR is unique, and very light, and fun to shoot (well at least the 5 rounds I popped off at the range). The expense of $610++ for this polymer gun and it's (your) necessary upgrades would go along way to purchase another gun and ammo. Should I decide to keep the PMR 30 and purchase your 'Bundle' I would like to thank you in advance for all you do for the firearms industry and those of us who enjoy shooting. I have no problem supporting American businesses like yours, please keep up the fine work you all do. Any chance you would add the slide stop into the 'Bundle'?. The magazine sounds interesting too.

Mines blew off after 3 full mags of double taps back to back. I definitely felt it and thought it was one really bad failure to eject issue. I was at an outdoor range and a RSO help me find it and we just superglue it back on and hasn't fell off yet.
I bought a brand new PMR 30 field striped it wiped it down and lightly oiled it. I took the magazine apart and lightly oiled the inside and the edges of the bullet set on the top of the mag. Went down the road to my favorite shooting range, (behind the levy) and dumped a 30 round mag flawlessly! I loved it! But weight! What happened to the slide stop? That’s right, and I didn’t get on camera either. 😩 Definitely going to order the new and improved 6061 aluminum slide stop.

Another item I would like to see you make is a replacement bolt cover with an optics base built in that still allows you to use the factory sights if your optic fails.
It’s cool, but hoping for something more game changing. Like a new design slide cover for a dove tail rear sight.

Love your PMR-30 parts and an upgraded magazine would be awesome. It might be asking too much, but some metal grip sets would really make the pistol seem more substantial.
My slide stop slowly hops up when shooting and after a few shots gets the rack in open mode and i have to slap it down with my thumb or i slide it back. So im hoping this upgrade with fix that

Threaded barrel (in SS?) would be a winner? I polished the followers on the magazines so perhaps an improved follower instead of the entire magazine as an idea.
Magazine, recoil spring buffer upgrades are needed. Also, since you sell the screws for the metal slide release, why not sell the retaining clip for the recoil spring.

If you use the right ammo you can mag dump all day i use cci maxi mag 40 grain Have never had one single Jam Every other magnum round I have tried always something wrong that Is the only ammo I will buy for it

I'm about to purchase a PMR-30 this week; hasn't Kel-tec already addressed the mag release issue on new purchases??? I know accidental releases were a major problem, so I thought I heard it was addressed. Also, will a local retailer with gunsmithing capabilities, be able to add your trigger, slide, slide stop, and feed ramp upgrades.
I simply don't have the capability to do so myself.

My pmr 30 slide hangs open not allowing next round to chamber.When i press down on the slide stop button it goes into battery.Do you think this aluminum product of yours will stop that?

To keep from losing tiny parts try this: Get a metal (steel) lid or shallow tray and put a rare earth magnet in the middle of it.
Then put your parts into this little tray and know they’re not going anywhere while working on your project.
Also use a magnet to find the part if it gets away from you.

I installed your recoil spring, feed ramp, and mag release. I have not experienced a significantly increase in performance. Particularly with lead hollow points. Even full jacket ammo hung up trying to load once or twice each magazine. I really like shooting this gun but even with the upgrades it continues to disappoint.
Try going back to the factory recoil spring if you can. It might help with ejecting earlier letting it pick up rounds easier since the mag spring can push up rounds sooner and has just a touch longer before the slide comes back forward. With the upgraded mag release and the feed ramp you should be ok in theory but the upgraded recoil spring could make it pickier on ammo since it needs more force to go back and eject and isn't going as far back before coming forward. Also a lot of people forget that your not supposed to go under 40 gr with the pmr 30 causing feed issues as noted in the manual
Go figure, I actually found mine after I watched it fly off. So embarassing. And now my new Aluminum Slide Stop is on order!

17 WSM?? There'd be so much powder blow back from that short barrel that there's no point.
Use a magnetic bowl from harbor freight. You will drop those little screws trying to get them on the end of the Allen wrench. Magnetic bowls make your day better.

Got it installed in like 30 seconds but yes!!! Make a dang ol' magazine!!!! And why is that buffer replacement not released?! Seems wayyy simpler than the feedramp, [CLEARLY] everybody wants/NEEDS a dang ol' buffer replacement so we don't need to order quantities of 10 from Keltec 😂😢🤬
