What a different country Australia is now, including a different people that have no idea of its past.

These were Halcyon days. No internet. No electric cars or portable phones. Just sunburnt acres and dead men's skulls a'grin out west.

I think the narrator was the legendary actor Kev (Kevin) Golsby. Loved the 'AHA' logos (Australian Hoteliers Association) on the pub glasses. Green EJ Holden ?

Thanks. An HD scan from a 35mm interpos was done some years ago but it should be in the queue for a 4K scan.

Yes, women can work on oil rigs as any other job. However, oil rig work can be physically and mentally demanding, and some traditional oil rig environments may not be welcoming or accommodating to women. It's important for companies to provide equal opportunities and a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees regardless of gender.

Of course, there always has to be a pub scene, where insecure men ruled by peer group pressure try to tough each other out.
