This makes me feel a bit better cause I’ve heard “don’t towel dry it’s bad for your hair” & “don’t use a blow dryer cause it’s bad for your hair” then I just heard “air drying is bad for your hair” I got pissed cause tf am I supposed to do??
I always air dry my hair. I have such naturally thin hair that it only takes 30 minutes to dry, except when I had it down to below my butt (it took like an hour). It's just that any time I blow dry my hair, it just makes it look frizzy no matter what setting, products, or tools I use. My hair breaks really easily (the strands are suuper thin), so I have a buttload of baby hairs, and I can't ever get them to lay flat when I blow dry it.
I have used nearly all home remedies, but what did better for my hair fall control was these. 1 glass warm water to drink as first item when you wake up. Using wooden neem comb. Using soft microfiber towel on head wash day. Some gentle exercises. Using Litttleextra cooconion anti-hair fall set once or 2 times a week.
Blow drying takes away my waves/curls plus makes my hair look thinner (and I don’t like using diffusers). At this point I like my natural results better plus I try not to use heat too often
It’s summer here and I have thick hair. It takes forever to blow dry and then I get hot and sweaty afterwards, so I do prefer to air dry it in the summer but any tips on making it look better? My hair ends up looking oily when I let it air dry. You’ve recommended Pulp Riot but your online store is out of stock.
I've never owned a blow dryer in my life. And never let the salon blow-dry my hair after cutting. I'm 28 and use absolutely 0 heat on my air. Ive been air drying all my life. And my hair is very healthy
@@sxarogue9067Stlylists definitely use high heat and brush wet hair, so I guess one trip to hair salon will damage your hair more than blow drying at home
Im goin on vacation, however, my dyson doesnt support the use of transformer. What is the best way to air dry your hair and still look sleek for fine hair?
I was blow drying/diffusing my hair and I ended up losing a lot of hair, so I started to air dry and my hair came back thicker and healthier. I will never blow dry my hair again it damaged it.
It was this girl that said that u shouldent sleep with wet hair But the thing is she said to Wait till it is 80 prosent dry😂 like What? She thinks i have time for that
We hair dryed for hundreds of years before blow dryers. Granted, I think having your hair wet for several hours is bad for it but thats becuse it's fradgile while wet/damp. If your hair is already pretty healthy air drying wont damage it too much compared to other mechanical damage.
You aren’t a trichologist. But that article is correct hair swells when hair is wet and makes it more likely to damage. Remember trichology and hair dressing school are two different things
Wondering the same. I have wavy hair and I always air dry. I've been applying oil on the ends when damp, right before I put on the creme gel, but I wonder if I'm supposed to wait until my hair has completely dried before adding oil to the ends?
@@teamhaas7406 if you watch his other videos its actually after styling completely. its the very last thing you do before youre done. so say you blow dry or blow dry and flat iron, after doing those you then apply oil to ends.
Great short video thank you. My hair is thick long down to my butt (I need a tiny trim) and I prefer to let it air dry. Sometimes I’ll blow dry it then straighten. I usually straighten it the next day to be honest if needed. What hair brush do you recommend to dry straight with?? A paddle brush? I need a brush that gets in near my ears as that place is hard to dry straight 😅 Do you recommend leave in conditioner and oil on damp hair when air drying?
Soooo if you want your hair to look like crap is what he's saying without saying I air-dry almost always unless I'm going somewhere because I don't want to waste another 20 minutes of my night drying my hair
Air drying is free...which explains why they say this
Right? Doesn’take a rocket scientist to get this…

Blow drying dries my hair so I let it dry naturally and scrunch as it dries. Been doing this for years less dry
To keep curls as natural as possible
Ooo tysm I might try this I have natural curls too
Yea blow drying my hair does the same thing. And it makes it frizzy too.
For curly hair it’s air dry, hands down.
My hair is always softer when I airdry, but more voluminous when I blow dry.
That is why I follow you. For being honest. Many stylist tells you air dry damages your hair, so you have to be at the salon regularly.

If I blow dry my hair, it ends up 10 times bigger. I have naturally curly hair and its long. It takes forever to dry lol
I think you have to use a diffuser
@@Rqidz diffusers take a lot longer to dry it so it’s easier to just blow dry even if it makes your hair really frizzy
@@Cloudation1 yeah thats true but that's the only option
The reason is you still have moisture in the hair. Doesn’t mean the actual hair is swelling
Great info and wig is laid and luscious
What did people do before blow dryers existed? Lol
Live in caves 😂
air dry it...
They basically had to wear it in braids or buns because it was a mess any other way.
Thank you so much because I was so worried as I'll be traveling without a blow dryer for a few days

This is very informative:)

As someone with fine hair, I would recommend staying away from heat unless your paying a pro to do it. The damage really shows itself
I get a strange frizz when I air dry, and lack of volume. When I blow dry with cool to warm air setting I get more volume and shine and less frizz.
I always air dried my hair. I’m autistic and just could never handle how loud the dryer is 🤷🏼♀️

Doesn’t blow drying damage your hair
It can if you do it wrong. But when done properly it won't do any damage. Which is why stylists blow dry your hair before you leave 👍
