Hi, Chris, the leave in conditioner unfortunately is not available in some countries. Could you suggest an alternative? 😊
You must have lots of international fans because almost everything you recommend is sold out outside of the US (except maybe the Revlon Shampoo and conditioner). More alternatives PRETTY PLEASE!!
What do you think of The Ordinary Hair Moisturizer?
Hi Chris, what would you say is the best hair trying brush for very fine, wavy and frizzy hair? 🙈
Where do I find which blow dry brush is better for thick hair?
Chris’s impression of the bitchy know-it-all client gets me every time 😂😂 Thank you so much, you are such a huge help
@@mangoitaliano1757 oh absolutely beautiful hair 🤣
It’s great for the sake of humor but looks like he secretly loathes his clients. Or maybe just women in general.
@@AllyKit Lol I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Speaking from personal experience, there’s nothing more exhausting than a client who doesn’t trust your expertise and disregards all your advice, when you are the one with the knowledge. That isn’t 90% of clients, it’s a small minority who its like talking to a brick wall. Like I said, a know-it-all
That know-it-all client might just actually know something 😉
@@PJ-Sparkles keyword is "might." usually they don't.
I have a Revlon, but I’ve been dreaming for years to get a Dyson. And thanks to you I’m giving up of that. Revlon does a great job in my hair, give me volume and it’s easy to use. It’s nice to see someone that actually understands about hair, showing that the “cheap” alternatives can be better than the “fancy” ones.
Also, I’ve been trying out the healthy hair routine, I’m using your recommendation products for my hair type, and for the first time in my life my hair it’s not oily! I can go days without wash, and that’s life changing! Thank you so much!!! ❤
Don’t give up on the Dyson it’s a great tool for your heir and will not damage your hair I promise you like the revlon would, his advice on the hair products are upstanding and they really work bc I had take his advice on my hair and it’s a game changer but he is very wrong about the Dyson!
What products are you using? I have thin, oily hair.
@@miriamgibney6290 exactly! I have fine, thin hair. Revlon destroyed my hair. It is just way too hot for my type of hair. Made it brittle and dry, my hair would break off as the result. I bought Dyson and never looked back. I love it. My hair never felt and looked healthier. I also got the T3 just because I'm not a fan of the small round brush Dyson has. Love the T3 also.
Get the Dyson. It’s worth every penny.
Dyson is 100% worth it. I have the hairdryer. My hair is naturally fine & all hairdryers I've tried made my hair dry. Except for the Dyson - my hair looks salon ready everytime I use it. And I can't see any damage. Just to mention I use it on cold air & the finish is still great.
Can we see you doing short hair. It’s always long hair.I’m an older woman and have fine hair. I’d love to see if you can use a blow brush on short hair.
The tip about knowing your hair is dry when it's hot is so helpful. I used to think it was dry because it didn't feel wet, so I'd stop, and then it would poof!
My hair gets very hot while still wet. I’m doing small sections, but it gets almost too hot to touch before it’s dry. I have fine, thin hair. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I just let the section cool and redo it til it’s dry.
@@heatherlyons6620 Are you doing a rough dry first? You can gently use a microfiber towel to pat out excess moisture, or use the tension method (hold the hair to stretch it and blow dry from a distance for about 30-60 secs) The straighter and finer your hair is, the more dry it should be before you touch it with the brush.
@@BionAvastar3000 I’ll do that, thank you for the advice!
I’m a Cosmetologist and I have all three: Revlon One Step, Dyson Airwrap, T3 Micro Airbrush Duo. The heat settings are horrible on Revlon and gets too hot, but it works. Also using Revlon on naturally straight hair will flatten the hair(because of the high heat and strength of the dryer) unless you’re blowdrying with the head upside down technique. I personally love the brushes that came with Dyson Airwrap, and the later separate brushes they came out with. T3 Airbrush Duo gives great volume with little effort. I love how both T3 and Dyson blowdry brushes both have separate speed and heat setting, the Revlon doesn’t. If you want the most curled/waved effect from your blowdry brush (like a traditional blowdryer and round brush technique, one in each hand) definitely use the round brush that came with the Dyson Airwrap, also the newer Revlon One Step Root Booster blowdry brush does that same exact curl/wave effect. And the Revlon One Step Root Booster is definitely way better than the original Revlon One Step! I find the round brush on the T3 Airbrush Duo doesn’t curl/wave the hair very well, it’s more for straightening naturally curly/wavy hair or volumizing naturally straight hair. Just my 2 cents! Great video, as always!!
hey ive been looking at revlon root booster, i'm looking at blowdryers for naturally long straight thick hair. I just want a blowdryer for volume and airdrying is time consuming and makes my scalp more greasy?
I owned both Revlon and the new Dyson air wrap and it’s not fare to say to stay away from the Dyson air wrap, bc is expensive and not good well not true at all it’s very very good in my hair without the damage of the hotter heat the Revlon puts out, everyone have different hair texture and all is up to each person! He is very good in giving advice on hair products but not the hair machines!
@@miriamgibney6290 the dyson air wrap would not work on all hair types. I have medium thick curly hair and i doubt that the dyson would do much to it if it doesn't even get hot. people who like the dyson usually have fine hair that is manageable/easy. he is vey kind for saying that the dyson really isn't all that because it's for a small portion of the population. for most people it would not work as good as other options
@@mxriamn What's better option for curly haired people? I've curly hair and my main issue is frizz
I agree. I binned my Revlon and I am sticking with Dyson
You have TRANSFORMED my hair! I shared your tips with my mom, who lost a lot of her hair due to medical issues, and is working on hair regrowth. Her hair was very fragile. She said that after following your tips, she is seeing huge improvement in her hair, and she is excited to grow it back out healthier than ever 😊
Thank you!!!! ❤ you have gained a follower for life!
Hopefully she is a bit more confident now.
@@___Alina___24 Hi Alina! Yes, she is doing very well and her hair is looking fuller ☺️
I haven’t watched a lot of his videos yet, I’m a recent subscriber. But could you mention what helped your mom regain her hair loss? My mom is dealing with that as well. I am too because of a medication I’m taking but mine isn’t noticeable yet. So any tips that would save me from having to sift through all of his videos to find them would be extremely helpful!
I need that video ♡
So happy for you and your Mom. What a gift to share with her. What a joy it must be to see her excited to grow out her hair again. Bless.
Never saw someone explaining everything in this much detail. Chris ! Would love to see a video on managing regrown baby hair on top of our heads.
We need a video that gives us steps to blow dry curly hair and how to avoid damage please ( curly:meaning actual hair with curls not just some hair with waves)
You got it!
That would be very helpful
Just happened to see this. I'm a stylist so I can appreciate these clips because clients get enough folks lying to them. Thx.
I love the Revlon. True, sometimes a little frizz, but you cannot beat the price for the volume it gives this fine hair.
I found your videos a few weeks back and watched them all. I was skeptical at first, but I followed your recommendations and wow, my hair responded! Thank you so much Chris! Happy Holidays!!
Makes my day to hear it :) It's literally why I get up in the morning. Super happy I was able to help 🙏

The same thing happened to me. I have course curly/frizzy hair, that I didn’t realize I was weighing down, with built up product residue. My hair looks and feels so much better in the past 3 weeks that I have been following Chris’ suggestions! Thank you, Chris!!
I love how you reiterate that “No size fits all”! Really depends on what you have and what you’re looking to achieve. Love all the knowledge in this video as well. This was so informative even if I wasn’t looking for a blow dry/brush combo. I’m walking away with something new learned today. 😊
Honestly one of the best reviews I’ve seen, from giving a tutorial along with a review, super thorough and informative 🙏
OMG! You literally answered ALL of my questions regarding a blow dry brush which I have been using over the last five years. This guy is brilliant, thorough and knowledgeable!!
Dude I came across your videos abt a week ago and I’ve been hooked on them ever since! I’m in cosmetology school right now (at abt 300 hr so I’m still a baby) but I’ve learned SO MUCH from your videos that my instructors haven’t really gone over yet. Thank you for these videos!
One of your best tutorials yet!! You are so fun and still informative.
thank you so much I found your channel a few weeks ago and my best friend that's been trying to get me to take care of my hair for years touched my hair today and complimented it. Your channel actually helped you aren't telling people bs
I love my Revlon brush. It does what I need it to and have zero complaints.
Thanks for sharing and comparing !!
THANK YOU for teaching in such a easy to understand language.
Thank you for your hair teachings. you have taught me how to blow dry my hair sleek, which i thought was impossible for me to do myself. i used your tips and will continue to do so! thanks so much, my view of my hair has changed for the better ❤
OMG… the best video of “this or that, which is better?” Me ganaste con la claridad con la que explicas todo!!! ❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️
You’re amazing!! The way you explain things is spot on and you are so honest!! My hair looks and feels amazing now.. I was doing a few things wrong as well as using the wrong styling products so thank you so much!!! Less is more!! You Rock!! ❤
AGH! My ex stylist told me the revlon was bad for my hair. So frustrating because I quit using it. Thanks for being real!
I have thick African American hair and the Revlon brush completely fried my hair in the front and crown. I have soooo much breakage because it gets extremely hot. It also gets hotter as you use it. I usually blow dry my edges and crown last, hence the breakage. I have very healthy hair so it was pretty devastating to have such awful results. And I used a blow dry cream. I now use the Drybar brush, it doesn’t get as hot and I haven’t seen any additional breakage. I would NOT recommend the revlon brush unless you’re willing to risk the health of your hair.
I’m pretty sure African American hair would be under the T3. Not the Revlon. Make sure to take the hair type test. You most likely don’t need volume.
Conversely, if you have thick (high density, very coarse, very low porosity) Indian hair like mine, it will literally take an hour for the T3 to fully dry my hair, where as the Revlon only takes around 20-30 minutes, and leaves it smooth and silky. Everyone's needs are different.
I found your channel a couple days ago and have been binge-watching all your content. Such good stuff!
I’ve been using the revlon for years … it is amazing. I can’t live without it.
And it gives you really nice curls if you wind it up. 🙌
I have just subscribed yesterday and I have been binge watch every since. Great information. I'm ordering the dryer. I've got great products you recommended in another video but I haven't been using a oil. I'm going to go order it now. It helps to know my hair is to be dry when I put it in and the amount makes a difference. I'm learning so much. I'm getting ready to cut my hair. I had surgery and wasn't able to care for my hair like I should. Plus, all the stuff they pumped into my body affected it. I have small clumps of hair falling out. My ends are to damage so need to start over. They say anesthesia can do that. I don't know but I can't wait to start fresh with a great haircare routine. Thank you.😊
I've been marathoning your videos this whole week, I also bought some of your product recommendations as well, as I took advantage of the black Friday deals. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
Saaaame ❤
This was very helpful. I’ve never had a hairdresser show me how to blow dry my hair. I’m going to subscribe.
I love Chris! He's extremely knowledgeable. I've learned a lot!
I've been following your tips for a short while now, and although I haven't yet bought any of the recommended products, I've found that products I already had, and didn't use, have made a massive difference to my hair.
I did purchase the T3 Airebrush however. I used it this morning, and wow, I love it! My hair feels so soft and smooth 😊
Only hair channel I'll ever watch, very helpful thank you 🤩
Professor Blowout , you are a PhD in hair and you teach it like a pro...you are a cut above pro! Thank you, from a 50+ with fine and sparce hair who is starting to do more styling.
I prefer the rotating ones, currently using Babyliss and am loving it.
My hair is finally getting healthier thanks to all your videos. Thank you so much!
I have the revlon and love it. I have thin/medium/wavy hair which does frizzy. However for the price and in my budget it works really well for me and being 65 😊
Hot tools brush comes with interchangeable barrels and 2 heat/speed setting. It's mid-range in price. Small barrel gets to the roots, lower spead keeps hair on the brush and keeps fly aways to minimum. Great advice!
I just purchased the T3 and I love the different heat settings as the Revlon got so hot that it was burning me in spots. Yes I I know you could change the blower but even though it was expensive my hair and scalp are loving my T3! Thanks as this was a great comparison! 😊
When doing it on myself, the Conair spin brush works the best. It keeps the tension on for me while replicating the round brush action for volume.
I love the information you've provided here; super useful. The humour though, it is top-notch. Keep it up - subscribed!
Thank you! I have one and was afraid you were going to tell me it's trash. I'm so happy right now!
I love my T3!! And i love the other attachment as well. Perfect for quick styling or traveling too.
I found this informative and fun to watch. It was engaging and I enjoyed how you presented it. Thank you. You have another subscriber.
OMG your are the best explaining tips on every chapter. I trust you 100%
I have both and prefer the T3. My hair is curly/frizzy and thin. The differences are exactly as you described ✅ The Revlon caught and pulled out more of my hair and the higher heat felt harsh but I can see how someone with thick coarse hair would need that.
I have the same hair type. Thank you for your comment.
Revlon is too big. And it will break hair
T3 is worth every penny I have spent on them. If you don't have the heated edge styling brush, I have fine hair and love it!
I'm starting to realize that I can maximize the value of my trinity hair routine products by just implementing blow-dry brush use. I never used one before but I'm satisfied with Chris's advice. I'm looking middle-of-the-road, ghd rise hot brush. I think it will work for my fine hair. Keeping it simple and just want it to match my other brush. Plus I love my ghd hair dryer. It appears that price point doesn't matter much. It's preference and education from Chris more than anything I think.
Just got the Revlon and used it first time today I have very thin bleached wavy frizzy hair I used it on the low heat and low speed and it worked really well for me I'm really pleased with the results lovely volume and smooth makes a change from scrunch drying my hair brilliant video I've been binge watching your videos so very helpful thanks .
This was very helpful. I just ordered the T3 after seeing this I'm very pleased with my choice. Super informative video 😁😁😁😁
I’m so thankful to find your channel. YOU, SIr, are the Mac daddy of blowouts!
Omg. I watched one video after another. Got a bunch of products you recommended. I did ONE wash with redken shampoo and my hair looks so different!! It looks clean and feels light. Doesn’t look matted as it usually does a day or two later. Even my husband noticed!! I guess my drug store shampoo really wasn’t cleaning my hair properly as these videos suggested. I say this blowout professor is on to something and I will continue to attend class ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’re such a great source of information about hair! I’m going to take your test. Thank you so much.
So much accurate information - thank you so much! You can only make better decisions when you have better information 😊
This was honestly such an informative video. Also I’ve had the revlon for years and I love it.
Cost has to be a factor especially when the final grades are so close. I'll stick with my Revlon...no need to spend that much on a T3. Thank you for this video.
I have thick wavy hair and have the Revlon brush, the t3 brushes and the dyson airwrap complete. The dyson hands down is the best dryer brush for my hair. It works AMAZING!! And quickly!!
This was a really informative video! Thank you.
I bought the Revlon after your recommendation in an earlier video and I have to say I love it.
Came at the perfect time! I just invested in a Belissima 8 in 1 blow dry brush and their creative blow dryer. Would love to see you try them, I think they’re underrated
Thank you for explanation, especially how to section hair while blowdrying. So much fun atching your videos simple and right to the point. By the way, love your long blond hair 👌
Appreciate you Dana! 🙏 Haha wasn't sure how the long hair would go but I think it was ok
I love these electric brushes, are fantastic for my long hair! I have so many for my hair 😉🙂❤️
Love your videos !!🤩🤩 thanks you for all the useful information 👍 simple and honest ! Amazing point about the dyson. I was thinking of buying it but after this, im definitely not wasting any money on it
Very informative😃 I will keep my Revlon, Dyson was sent back ! Thank you so much vor your videos, I love your funny and clear explanations..
Your advice is the best, my hair is like never before. Thank you.
I agree 💯 on the Dyson. I got it and returned it. Left my hair freezy and pulled a lot of hair out while blow drying. I am using the Revlon which works beautifully but still pulls out too much hair.
PLEASE!!! Do a video for short hair (pixie, etc) girls/boys! How to dry/style this type of hair? :) thanks to you, I got my routine right, but I don't know how to blow out short hair..
I love this channel, I watch it all the time! I would love to see a tutorial on how to use Revlon One Step (the new version) on one’s own hair (like how should I correctly hold the brush?) please it would help a bunchhh🙏
You have helped me so much with my hair . Thank you !
My sister got the Dyson. Used it for about 2 weeks and now it sits in her closet.
Hi Chris, UK subscriber here🖐 I've been binge watching your videos and have today tried your after shower routine. Just the simple steps of how to wash hair properly are amazing, my hair and scalp feel so clean! I don't have your reccomend products yet so I've used my own in the method you describe (leave in conditioner, then a little blow dry cream and heat protector) my hair is supple and shiny and bouncy!
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!😊❤❤❤❤
I use a T3 because of frizz and have for years . . . I haven't found anything better. I do have the Drybar blow dryer brushes. I use a combo of the two and it works great.
T3 is excellent for my fine, dry, coloured longish curly hair & easily oil prone scalp. I had the Revlon, both the original when it first came out and the later version with lower heat and put both on eBay. The original got way too hot making my scalp produce ton of oil and there was not much improvement w the later version. The t3 has been the best I have ever tested for my hair type and (low) skill set.
Omg I love you with the long blond hair. I need that hair!
It could be great to watch again the same video with a different model, one that has curly frizzy hair thank you.
I went straight(pun? What pun)for the Revlon one step and I’m so glad I did! It works it’s magic on my thick, wavy, dry hair.
I heard Dyson makes a wonderful product, but I’m so satisfied with my Revlon, I’ll never switch!
I wish I had watched this video before choosing between two blow-dry brushes, one of which was Revlon's (the original version). I read that it gets too hot and damages your hair a lot, it felt like a risk I didn't want to take as I'm a bit clumsy and impatient with hair styling, so... Now, after watching this video, I think I could have avoided the most common mistakes but, anyway, I already bought Remington's Hydraluxe. I have to say I am SO HAPPY. Keeping in mind all the precious recommendations by Chris, I used it twice and I'd never felt so confident with my at-home hair results before. And, Chris, really, thank you so much for your amazing videos. I know that there are thousands of instruction videos out there, but few people have the skill to teach and COURAGE to talk about overpriced products. (And you are also very handsome, oops, fangirling a bit, but had to say it 😂)
You are the only one that I trust with my hair!!! Could you please make a video on at home keratin treatments and do they evem work and how damaging is that compared to keratin treatments available at salon?
Let me tell you from someone who uses the Revlon hair brush, I have wild, curly, thick, poofy hair, it literally used to take me hours to get my hair straight with just a flat iron 🤦🏼♀️ but after using the Revlon brush I can get my hair managed and straighten in just 10 minutes!! Seriously!
1. I let my hair air dry some, but you don't have too, it's just easier to dry when your hair isn't super wet
2. I take sections, just like you would when your flat ironing your hair and place them in the hair brush and give it a roll up and gently bringing it back down until that piece is dry which takes literally 10 seconds
3. Once it's all done, it's pretty much straightened already but just for extra, which you don't have too, I run a flat iron once over mine
You don't have to use product unless you like, an it also works perfectly on straightening dry hair! An no it doesn't fry or damage your hair like flat irons do!
I use it all the time on my clients!
I give the Revlon brush a 100!! It's cheaper and does an amazing job!!
i have long curly 3b/3c curls and the revlon brush is the hero we curly girls all needed. I learned how to get a salon blow out with it during quarantine in 2020 and havent looked back!
I have 4b thick frizz hair. I found that if I turn cool on when getting too warm for a bit its not drying my hair out. I am now using everything he recommended and my hair has shown great improvement. Have a couple more I want to purchase but it works. Not all works for all. I found what works for me for a price I can afford. Ty for all the great information.
The low seating gives more shine I got alrogathwr a different one, works so well
Would love a video on how to protect/maintain your blowout while you sleep. Your videos have been so informative and look forward to more great content!
I love how much I learn with every episode with the entertainment lol. I have a mini travel size Conair blowdryer and it works so well for me. And thanks to Chris I know I can keep it lol
Great information and entertaining videos! Thanks so much.
Learnt some much from these 13min. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this informative video! I was wondering if you could do a video dedicated to curly hair (3A+) regarding blow-drying and styling? That would be much appreciated!
The ion button on the T3 is actually to turn the ions off. They call it their ‘volume boost’ , supposedly giving you more volume as it won’t make the hair quite as straight and silky smooth.
I use the hot tools one with the smallest barrel as it's easy to get my roots. The bigger barrels on others can't.
Thanks for all the info your videos are soooo full of great tips. After watching a couple I finally tried professional shampoo/conditioner…what a difference!! I have coarse, curly hair, lots of volume, and love to wear it straight some times and the Revlon brush was the first time I was able to do a ‘decent’ job at it myself…but the frizz and flyaways led me to return it and try the Shark Flexstyle, which I think is comparable to the T3, smaller and much smoother, I’m so happy with it! It was $250 but since I didn’t even own a blow dryer, it was my one hair ‘investment’ this year 😊
Thank you for the list of recommended products! Do you recommend these products for color-treated hair?
Conair knot Dr has a brush similar to the revlon brush and it has interchangeable brush heads. I have a paddle brush one and two sizes of the round brush. Works just as well as revlon (i have that one too)
Dear Chris,
Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge. You have made my hair improve in one week since I started following your healthy routine. I really appreciate you.
I have purchased my new blowout brush and I would love if you shared any recommendation to keep both this tool clean without damaging it so that it does not make my hair dirty after usage. Thank you.
Not sure if this is the video where you recommend Olivia Garden brushes but I bought the 1.75 inch barrel one and it is the best brush I’ve used to blow dry my hair straight!!! Best $24 I’ve spent on Amazon!! Thank you!
I bought the T3 duo from tjmaxx for $79.99 and I am still learning how to use it. Thanks for the video!
Iv spent many years trying to straighten my hair but never liked hair irons, I found vkk hair straightener brush on amazon and love it, I'm happy to find my instincts have mostly worked but glad to learn more
I bought Amazon's knock off version of the Revlon and I love it. I have fine, wavy, salt & pepper hair and I can get it dry in about 5 mins with the blow dry brush. I prefer my hair to be diffused with gel in it to get the wave and body, but that takes about 30 minutes, sometimes longer, and I don't always have the time. Thanks for this review.
I own the amazon one. I love it. I have super curly hair and it's thin so I like to straighten it because it's easier to deal with. I've been blow drying my hair for about 30 years and the revlon blow dryer has made it so much faster and easier. I don't really separate my hair much I just start with my bangs and then do around my face and then go to the bottom under and work my way up. My hair is usually smooth (if I don't do it too fast and take my time. I spin it while doing it so the issues you're talking about don't happen to my hair. I spend at most 10 mins, typically a little more than 5 but always under 10. I use a flat iron around my face but that's it unless I use it to make soft curls. I don't have many fly aways either. I think spinning it while pulling it down is the difference I see from how every video shows how they're doing it. I will do the bottom and then switch to the top but in a much messier way and in the end it's smooth, I like to make sure my hair curls under at the ends so I always turn it under. I love my revlon hair dryer.
Awesome video thanks so much for sharing your information
The Dyson Bish is hilarious 😂😂😂 Great information! Thank you!!
Great video. Can you compare the dyson hair dryer round brush with the revlon one? I think that would be super helpful. 😊
Great demonstration I have that revlon brush
Very interesting video!! Thank you 😊✨
Oooh i needed this video. I've had the Revlon one for a long time but I don't love it. I have fine thin hair. Its hard to get the roots/mids dry without overdrying the ends which stay wrapped up longer. It has 2 settings.. 1. Barely warm, and 2. Sizzling HOT! I may not need 15 heat settings but I'm sure at least one of those is right for me. I actually went back to a regular hair dryer and a brush because the Revlon is so hot it feels like its burning my scalp. I asked for the T3 for Christmas and super excited! 🥰
Have you tried the Revlon 2.0? It has a smaller barrel than the one in the video. I just bought it (on sale right now at Target!) and prefer it to the original since it reaches closer to my roots. Heat settings are 3: low, medium and hot.
