Is it possible to make a case study without any team and if so then how to make one?
Yes its possible. Just identify a design problem you want to fix, and go through the process of research and design.

Thanks for this! Also, how can I get mockups that don't reduce the quality of my designs when I want to put them into my case study?
And how can I add aesthetic quality and similar colors like in my other design components and UX deliverables of my project to my competitive analysis? I did it Google sheets and it's in the same format as yours, but I'm not sure about how to make it look better, export it and place into my case study.
1. You have to export them as larger images.
2. In terms of making things more aesthetically pleasing, I just designed it. I thought about new ways to visualise the data. Not everything has to be visually pleasing, sometimes I just used screen shots.

Yes, but companies prefer people who do both. You could do UX Research though, which will focus more on research and UX
