    The detail and weight on that r16 looks shockingly good.
    Acc ffb is now on point anybody saying it isnt is using the wrong settings. The weight is there now and the detail. Thats with any base even my dd+ I was shocked to feel how good it was. Its clearly not the same acc from a year ago.
    For me over 10 to 12nm you are buying the torque yes the speed but the constant forces have always felt stronger on higher ones. It feels heavier its just the truth. Which imo allows you to control the car more as it is a constant torque and weight you feel conosred to it being a little lighter or going light more.
    Like gt he went up to a 15nm dd wheel and realixed he was faster right away beacuse he felt he could control where the car was more due to the extra weight and yes details aks speed of ffb etc. But the weight feel wss what he coukdnt get over he loved that compared to his 8bto 10nm base. Also even going from 12 to 15 is a noticable feel in weight. When i say weight i mean stronger center forces. Which yes part of that is the speed which the ffb gets there but it always alsos eems to hold it better which is true higher peaks ususlly lead to higher holding torque. Ive always been able to feel it.
    Now when things are heavier it may not feel faster but the control is better and when they say speed they mean speed of ffb delivery. The extra weight may make you feel different about it. Me it will always be a plus to feel that and almost gives a less underteer type of feel.

    I just wish it was all Matte black, it looks like a toy with the shiny plastic and green. If it was in the form factor of the r5-12 then it would be an instant purchase.

    I received the Moza r16 one week ago (with the pedals and the FSR wheel) and i love it. Came from Fanatec but i regret i did not buy Moza earlier. So much more feedback from the FFB and the wheel is just...........WOW.

      I laugh at thede console vs pc things and elitists acting like console players can't race hahs. Go watch the 2 latest acc comparisons of hard-core sim racers getting equal laps on both and saying it's eye opening to see console is playable now. Even having 400hz ffb which most don't expect. Listen it's good now, console sim racers can compete with pc ones going back and forth. Ive raced tougher guys at times on ps5 then I have pc guys beating the best pc lap times in acc and things like that. If you haven't played console in years then you shouldn't talk about how good or not good it is. I play both I like iracing the most but acc on console is way better then expected. Graphics aren't the best but good enough to enjoy.

      Its sickening to see the pc elitists here who are stuck in 2020 lol. Disguisting trying to put down console racers when we are a community and should just want more racers and should want everyone to enjoy what they have.

    Big fan , thank u for the content . I’m hoping that u will review the club sport DD+. I’m a big gran turismo fan and don’t want to give up PS supprt . I had the gt dd pro but felt it lacked power and detail. I switched to the Logitech G pro and absolutely love it but hate the pedals and no ecosystem. I still have my fanatec v2.5 formula wheel and the elite V2 pedals. Strongly considering switching back to fanetec. Any advice would be appreciated

    You shouldnt turn down FFB strength in the driver settings, always do that ingame. You will get unwanted effects and clipping otherwise.

    • @fastissimo6777
      @fastissimo6777 Před 5 měsíci

      Do you mean 100% for the wheel driver and only (about) 15% in ACC gain instead of 45% for the wheel and 70% for ACC as seen in the video ?
      I disagree, if ACC gain is too low you do loose informations and this is very obvious when you test it !
      FFB informations are going from the game to the base not the opposite ...
      Of course you need to be at 75-80 % max in ACC to avoid clipping.

    I mad looking at Moza until I seen they weren't PS5 compatible without an adapter. Because of that, I purchased Fanatec GT DD Pro [8NM]. If they ever become PS5 compatible, I will seriously consider Moza. As I would like to upgrade my [NM] soon in the near future.

    • @voongnz
      @voongnz Před 5 měsíci

      @@senseikawasaki2326 it's not so easy and fast with Sony, they need to go through a certification process that involves quality and technical standards, also performance and safety etc and also a certain amount of time the peripherals manufacturer has been in operation so they are confident in ongoing product support, that's why you see the same established licenced companies like logitech, thrustmaster, fanatec, hori and pxn. They have been around a long time. Xbox is slightly quicker and faster with licensing with the R3 coming out, but you still don't see a lot of official licenced products from newer companies.

    If we're only going to be using around 8nm, would it be best to just go R12 instead of R16 and put towards a better wheel addon or something?

    • @fastissimo6777
      @fastissimo6777 Před 5 měsíci

      As explained the torque is not the only criteria : encoder precision (in bits, eg 32 bits) and slew rate (torque response time) are also very important.
      12 NM torque seems enough in ACC if precision and slew rate are good, but do not forget that the needed torque depends on the game and could also be different per car. So using only 8 NM in ACC does not mean that you do not need more in other games.
      And be also aware that if you use a smaller (diameter) wheel you will need more base torque to keep the same force applied tou your arms (torque = force x wheel radius)

    Late to the party, but as far as I know prices advertised in the US are always shown without taxes. Which would explain the difference between the dollar and euro price.

    • @DigitRacingDG
      @DigitRacingDG  Před 7 dny

      The prices were without taxes on both sides. The main problem was the distribution since they only had one WH in China. But the situation has changed, and their products now include taxes in the EU. Even with that said, taxes in EU are around 20-25%, which is much higher than US.

    Base is clipping becouse you limited FFB to game to 45%. 7Nm. Increase Professional Game FFB and it will never ever clip. It is redundant to have a FFB and then Game max FFB and then FFB gain in game but... Increase it from 45% to like 70% (11.5 Nm) and you will bever clip
