i prefer 60fps with 4:3 aspect ratio

What editing software do you use? Or recommend
Final cut pro, if you have Apple mac.
If not, then “premier pro” for windows.
If you want something simple, then you should try “Filmora” ..
For something much complicated and works best for color grading your videos “davinci resolve”
I recommend premiere pro for you, and hope it helps

Im soooo excited to follow these instructions, just got my first big boy camera, gopro10 delivered and Im eager to learn the setting, and take it out for a ride. I must say tho, opening the battery door was a pain in all the wrong places, like i literally had to read a manual and follow a youtube video to just open the door, I hope the settings are amatuer friendly.. This is my second bad boy camera actually, I bought a Nikon D 5600 cam and with the bulk and complications of moving around with it, its sadly stored in its original box, so I resulted to using my good old samsung phone for my travel videos. Crossing fingers I shall make amazing contents with my new GoPro10, following your video
I've had mine since December. I'm just a dad trying to record all the best moments of my two daughters growing up. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. It makes it easy to get great video with minimal tinkering. Or if you want to dive in deep like this channel you can. This guys tips are legit. Even then it's still an easy camera to learn.

I have GoPro 10 black. I shoot 1080p coz my Pc doesn't support 2k editing. when I upload to youtube the picture quality drops too much. I have seen many videos and tried exporting from editing software using the 4k setting. still no use. how you do it. Please tell.
Hey Jake, getting ready to get the gopro10 for a trip to Alaska leaving next weekend.
I usually take my Sony 4K camcorder but it's a pain trying to set it on the dashboard to shoot when we're driving so when I use the GoPro 10 and mount it with the suction cup.
I have to turn my camera off and on after I go through different types of scenery I will only get about 15 seconds of each and then it's easier to add it is there any way other than using the voice prompt to turn it off and on or a setting where I can set it to record whenever I change scenery on the road? I'm guessing the only way to do it is to have the voice activated and constantly say record and stop but then again won't that drain the battery?
When you are vlogging, do not use natural or vibrant...they make you look like you have intense sunburns...use flat for a true natural look, more details, wider dynamic range. Save natural and vibrant for action/spors type shots.

Good video. What video editing program(s) do you use? What frame rate timeline did you put all these clips into?
i set the timeline to the first imported clip usually 24fps and edit in adobe premiere pro
Since the front lens has a water repellent, do you suggest putting a tempered glass protector over it to protect it from rocks and everything?
The front lens does a great job and we think it's fine as it is without any additional tempered glass :)
I have a couple of questions.. I recorded almost 40 minutes none stop before it overhead and shut off on me. So that 40 minutes video when I transferred it to the app on the phone it was all cut up to 5:20 minutes.
Is there a way to stop that?
If not. What are the time limits or how does that work?

Hello I have a Gopro 10 and a mavic mini, mavic mini videos look way better than the gopro (depth and detail) is there anything I can do so the videos look more alike to the mavic mini?
I just bought a GoPro 12 and I love it but I have noticed that sometimes on certain skin tones things look a bit over sharpened and you can see a lot of blemishes on people’s skin, almost looks too sharp. If I’m just shooting scenery, everything looks gorgeous but when I’m shooting people or interviewing people, their skin looks a little sharp or even artifacts a bit. What do you suggest for better results?

Wait a min, okay, Anna says about the editing equipment. Okay Im using filmora and I saw it edits at 4k so im guessing its good, right? About my laptop its a HP windows 10 and thats all I know ... How can i know if it can handle editing a 4k file and if it cant what can I do without having to buy a new laptop... the GoPro 10 drained me and right now buying a new laptop is not in my dreams, so please help me out in solving this issue.

When i record smt while looking at gooro with selfie mode, voice is good. But when i shot smt n talk behind camera, my voice is so low. What’s solution? I Have gopro 10 n think it has two different mics but as i said my voice is low when I talk behind it. Thanks

Totally unrelated to camera settings: Does anyone know if there's a device that will connect your gopro or an action cam to a smart phone in situations where there's no available cell signal? When I look it up I only find tutorials on connecting your gopro to your wifi.

I'm a carpenter and I have GoPro 10 black on my chest mount and sometimes over my head. i need an excellent settings by your advice for use minimum battery and minimum sd card capacity and also speed recording maybe X1or 1.5 speed I work almost in the interior of a house or shop. any suggestion would be appreciated. cheers
Is this the camera you vlog on the most or what do you use for vlogging shots vs studio shots?
We mostly vlog on hero 10, for studio we use song a73 with 24mm 1.4mm prime

I’m curious aside from locking the exposure, couldn’t you also set the min and max to one ISO, say 100 for min and max and it will work the same?

Of course, on a sunny day you could try min 100 max 400, but the camera exposure screen locking prompts will still show up as soon as water hits the back panel so it’s a good habit to lock it regardless

My question is if I am mainly editing on my S22, and mostly posting on Instagram/Facebook can I still shoot in 5k/4k? Also what app would you recommend for photos and video editing? I assume light room for photos and not sure which one is the best for video editing? I'm sure I have a million other questions but will start here.

Hey Kris, for mobile editors we recommend filming in 2.7K or lower, this will allow for the mobile device to smoothly edit the content. Longer format videos, anything over 2 minutes we'd recommend editing on a laptop. Export bitrate settings. CZcams best bitrate export settings for CZcams uploads.
