Some e-bikes are getting so heavy, that by law in some countries you need an e-stand for health and safety purposes for the mechanics, obviously people aren’t going to check so you don’t have to buy a few $1000 stand.
Due to European lifting laws most bike shops really should have electronic stands because of e bikes, they are a 2 man lift if not from an employers point of view.

That's because it's a very expensive using a cheap and outdated derailer system to maximize profits. Look into internal gear hubs. Seen a few people riding near my house with them this past summer, and each person said they would never go back to a derailer system. This bicycle cost almost the same as my zx10r did when it was brand new. Ridiculous.

While my bike is a 600 € hardtail there is a difference. First a full suspension rides completely different, it's like a flying carpet over a rough trail. This is done by a suspension which alone is costly. A expensive fork behaves different than a simple one which only moves at higher forces. Most cheap fullies have a bad stiffness since a moving rear triangle is harder to be made stiff compared to a hardtail which is naturally stiff here due to be fully welded into 1 piece. Also it's harder to make that light enough and stiff enough at the same time. While there is financially certainly a huge margin on these bikes for the manufacturers such a fully rides complete different to a beginner hardtail. If you do no Enduro of course such a bike can not play out its potential.

I've found through a lot of research that, for the most part, bikes are following the trend of overseas built guitars. 5-10 years ago, overseas guitars were pretty sub par as far as quality. Now, a lot of stuff from across the water is every bit as good as a USA built guitar. There are bikes a quarter of the price as this that will perform 80-90% of what this one can do.

Yah absolutely if you go to yt sites on the outlet sale category (which i know isnt apple to apples) you can find the IZZO core 4 for 2,799$ With better suspension, sure as hell better drivetrain and brakes + carbon too, and warranty because its new and not second hand with blown out suspension. disgusting how the pricing for this 2nd hand bike is worse then the peak Covid prices for new bikes. @@tampabayrider
