They like to talk up the Ole's rebuild process as some massive overhaul project that needs 3 years, and now pushing the goalpost back to 4 years. This is Ole's third full season. He still starts the same 6 from Jose's squad. (Rashford, Pogba, Shaw, DeGea, Mctominay, Fred.) He didn't need to/ didn't want to change much of the line up. In Klopp's 3rd full season, he only had Henderson and Firnino left in his starting 11 that were from the previous squad. Klopp got 97 points with only 1 loss in that season. Ole has already lost 3 games before November. I wonder how can anyone even think Ole would win the league by his 4th year like Klopp did. Downright delusional.

Ole learnt how to manage under SAF, the game has moved on a hell of a lot since those days, I don't think SAF would actually do well in todays modern game. The closest comparison you can make is when United played Pep's Barca, even SAF described it as "like being on a carousel" now, most top teams play with this high-pressing possession based style, and Ole's outdated tactics just can't cut it in todays modern game. How do you expect to do well against a team who presses from the front, when your forwards let defenders play out from the back?
