I have had mine for 50 years and grooved mine 40 years ago and it made a big difference in the knife wouldn’t trade it for anything
Nice
My favorite knife since I was a teenager. Got my first over 40 years ago.
Mine too
Thanks , I might try that on my 40 yr old schrade
I had a buck 110 that I cut the finger grooves in and radiused the edges. I loved the feel of that knife . unfortunately someone else loved the feel of the knife and California sheath better.
Thats sucks.
Lockbacks are by far my favorite lockup method on a folder.
I carry a Pohl Force B1, works really well for EDC 👍
This video made me realize I was missing an essential tool. Thanks BA now I have a stitch marking wheel.
You Sir,are a
LEATHERSMITH!!
And your knife mod came out PERFECT👍
Thank you
I've actually done the finger grooves and rescaling job to mine. My handles were made with herringboned craftsticks.
Ssgt BA , that was a very cool project , always a pleasure to watch and learn , stay safe , God bless !
Thank you. God bless 🙏
Great holster for this classic blade !!!
They make the regular 110 with the finger grooves, too. But you did a nice job, too!
Thank you
I have. Many spyderco knives. But have always had a buck still one of my favorites
Ever since I picked mine up last year it’s been my favorite knife I added a kwik stud just like you did to make it a one hand opener I want to put finger grooves on it but don’t wanna mess it up
I like how you did that looks good
Thank you
I’ve got a buck 112 with the finger grooves on my hip right now. It’s a smaller version of the 110. Love it!
Good vid, now I’m gonna go grind some grooves into my 110!
Nice.
Why not buy one from Buck with the grooves?
@@matttherrien9608 cause I don’t want to🤷♂️
I liked the mods you did to the knife and that's a cool sheath, excellent leather works as always a pleasure to watch
Thank you brother
Really nice work...
Thank you
Outstanding as usual young man
That's cool I got the Buck 110 finger groove I thought it would be cool if it had brass knuckles to put your fingers in when holding it also nice knife Good video! 😊👍
Thank you
You're welcome!
Beautiful job ..I love it
I've got a standard 110, thinking about picking up a customized 112. Thanks for the video on a classic knife!
Thanks, BA

Very nice work!
Thanks BA

Make a quick draw sheith for it as it opens when you yank it out !
Look in my leatherwork playlist, I've already done that. It's very famous.
Forr edge black i use a black furnature touch up marker
Good video. Awesome knife right there.
Thank you
Nice job! 👍
Thank you
NICE
very cool project bud
Thank you
Nice work on both the knife and sheath!
I used to use Buck folders back in the day. I always worried about my hand slipping and getting cut, which did happen a couple times.
Latley I've been eying some of their new offerings in steels and designs. They have some good sales straight from them.
Thank you
Got the buck 119 special from Walmart 😂 also found a coast knife at ross like that for $7 I keep in 1st aid kit
I have the s35vn version I might do this mod myself
Good video
Thank you
Man good work brotha!! Love the customization on your buck and the leather sheath, i was wondering where'd you pick up the thumbstud? Im going to be getting a 110 soon for my birthday so im trying to fancy it as much as possible lol
Thank you
Looks damn good bro.
Thank you brother
Step One Survival
You’re welcome.
Did you do the grooves yourself? If not, what year is that model? Mine was manufactured with the grooves and they're nowhere near as deep as yours but I do like the shallower depth. They only need so much depth to appreciate the effect.
Hand made
Hey BA, how did you do the thumb bolt? I have my father's 110 and would like to add that.
Its in the drop down menu at the top. I put links for yall.
My late dad carried this same knife, don't know what happpened to it after ge died. Last year I scored one just like his for $20. I never saw him carry any other knife
🤙🏽
I like the finger choil mod on the knife. And I would definitely like to get a sheath for my knife, I might have to contact you around Christmas.
Definitely 👍 hit me up. I make all the different 110 sheaths even add extra slots for light, ferro rod, and multi tools.
Have you ever made a sheath that fits between your belt and jeans waste line? I think that would keep the knife safer from someone pulling it out of your sheath. What do you think? Awesome video thanks for sharing.
Yes check out my leatherwork playlist if you have time.
@@StepOneSurvival I can't find it. Could you please send me a link to that video? Thank you for responding to my post.
