  • Reality isn't something you perceive; it's something you create in your mind. Isaac Lidsky learned this profound lesson firsthand, when unexpected life circumstances yielded valuable insights. In this introspective, personal talk, he challenges us to let go of excuses, assumptions and fears, and accept the awesome responsibility of being the creators of our own reality.

      @brandonroths, you could still ask him and he'll tell you how he is, 8 know for a fact that Isaac Lidsky uses readers to help him use his computer. And furthermore Lidsky does encourage feedback.

      @XYZyt, In as much as I agree with your prayers, I think as Isaac will say either here or elsewhere his book 'Eyes Wide Open' isn't really aimed at those who have physical eye challenges but to even us 'able bodied' eyes functioning well!
      Towards the end of this talk he quotes Helen Keller : The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but NO vision.'
      In as much as Isaac hopes one day to see his tripskies and his sweet baby Clementine for indeed as Scripture says' Light is sweet aha it is pleasing to the eyes to see the sun. Ecclesiastes 11:7 the best prayer therefore should be that Lord, may we have beyond physical sight and see true vision, to see the world, reality as it is not as as we have conceived it to be. Amen

      A few hundred times! I'm going to memorize his "instruction," so when I start feeling the panic, I can recite his words to myself, because they may be the most important ones I've ever heard! Most of my life I've held others responsible for my situations, and that is going to stop right now! The 20 or so years of life I've got left, are going to be on my terms, and of my creation! Don't waste the time I have, start doing what he says - NOW!!!

  • @BURNOUTRS
    @BURNOUTRS Před 7 lety +14

    this is so true. I've dealt with anxiety since i was very young and one of the biggest ways I've managed to overcome it was by helping to retrain my brain to think about all my worries and fears in a different way.
    As someone who has experimented with drugs well beyond what many would consider experimentation, as someone who has experienced addiction and beaten it, I've led a life fraught with worry. Some of these worries would be things like "what if i start doing drugs again?" "what if im at a party and somebody offers me something and I struggle to say no" "what if im doomed to repeat these same self destructive cycles for the rest of my life"
    the answer to each one of these worries, and many others, is very simple.
    What if I start doing drugs again? "don't start doing drugs again"
    What if im at a party....? "all you have to do is say no"
    what if im doomed to repetition? "im the only one who controls what I do"
    I recognize my worries for what they are. They will only come true if I allow them to. To worry is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign to strengthen yourself against that weakness and ensure you don;t allow it to become reality.

  • @TheManasmita
    @TheManasmita Před 7 lety +10

    Yes, it is absolutely correct that losing sight doesn't mean you lost your Vision. The vision was there and it will be until the end. So never let your fear hijack your confidence in this moment. Because fear is like a ripple in the water of reality which produces delusion and confusion about our knowledge, perception, and imagination in an absolute field of reality
