Great reaction to another Wilburys banger. BTW, the guy on the left is a little known up and coming singer/songwriter. He was born Robert Zimmerman. He changed his name to Bob Dylan. Mark it down: he’s gonna be famous. Remember; you heard it here first! 😉
When you listen to some Wilburys and wonder why the music flows so easily, it's because you're listening to a group of guys who have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone. They're completely at ease with each other and egos are left at the door. They're doing this ,not because some record exec ordered them into studio, but because they love it.
Absolutely . . . R.I.P. To: Roy Orbison, . . . Tom Petty, . . . George Harrison . . . . All Of Them, Were Masters Of Song Writing, Guitar Playing, And Singing . . . :-)
I'm poor, so finding funds to get to concerts is more or less a fantasy. I so much wanted to see Tom Petty, David Bowie, and John Denver. ELO was my favorite band back in the 1970s....and I see that Jeff Lynn is going to be in Seattle in August. I live in Idaho...a doable trip, mileage wise, ...but not with concert seats going for over $500,plus hotel, food, and gas. A few days ago when I took a peak out of curiosity they were nearly sold out. I doubt Jeff will be touring that much in the future, so I'll lose out on another artist I would love to see live. I'm 60 now and have seen too many of my favorite artists pass away and yes, Roy Orbison is not far down on that list. :
Guys you have a serious deficiency to Bob Dylan music. Only have done him 4 times on your channel. He’s probably the greatest American artist of all time. Guys get with it!
Greatest? A bit hyperbole. Elvis says hello! I don't dislike Dylan, but he is severely overrated when it comes to his singing. There's a reason why he has no solo vocal in this song. And he has never reached #1 as a solo performer. How can you be the greatest of all-time without even one #1 song?
Left to right on the album over are Bob (lucky Wilbury) Dylan, Jeff (Otis Wilbury) Lynne, Tom (Charlie T. Wilbury), Roy (Lefty Wilbury) Orbison, and George (Nakihama Wilbury) Harrison.
Bob Dylan is more a songwriter than maybe any other musician. He wrote hits for everyone (George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Adele, and Manfred Mann to name a few). He was such a great songwriter, he won a Nobel Prize for Literature.
Roy Orbison's voice is just velvet. I am so sad we didn't get to have him for at least another decade making music after he had just hit is second stride in the late 80s.
Hey guys. Love your reactions. The next time you react to a Traveling Wilburys song I recommend "Not Alone Anymore" which is mostly a Roy Orbison led song. "Tweeter and the Monkey Man" (basically Dylan) and "Handle With Care" (largely Harrison, but also the group) are two other favorites of theirs of mine.
Traveling Wilbury’s while not many people don’t consider them a official band, as they never toured and that is course because Roy Orbison died as the 1st Album came out. and even though they made a second album without Roy, I remember reading a quote in a guitar magazine, article interviewing George Harrison, (I think it was in the early 90s) and Harrison never thought it would be right to tour without Orbison. I’m sure the others agreed. Official band or not they were my favorite band since the Beatles and Cream. And C’mon guys it’s Bob Dylan!! along with Paul Mc. and Lennon he is the greatest song writer of the 20th century! And wrote some good songs in the 21st.
Another supergroup you should check out is The Firm. Members of the band include Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. A good song to start with would be "Satisfaction Guaranteed".
Jay for the win at the end! It is Dylan! The cover photo is a little obscuring. Each member took on a persona so perhaps the cover photo was a way of keeping with that thinest of veils.
Love The Traveling Wilburys, and yes Bob Dylan is in the group. Btw if you want a great Bob Dylan song with his normally voice rather than his trademark nasal voice, check out Lay Lady Lay. Great song.
You're not going to believe it, but last night this song came through the speakers at my parents' house. They played the entire first album. So, it's time for some Bob Dylan."Hurricane", "Tangled up in Blue", "Lay Lady Lay".
OMG! after years of watching and never commenting i finally wanted to say, that so many times over the years you both say things that remind me of how young you both are, and how much music i’ve heard hundreds of times that you’re hearing for the first time ever. my immediate thought is, how unfortunate it is that you didn’t grow up in the 60’s & 70’s. you will never know how much you missed. those decades are unmatched to grow up in. but since you’ll never know that, i understand that you don’t think of it that way, and i guess shouldn’t. what sparked my first comment here, was watching you both totally blank on bob dylan! bob dylan, a towering figure of this past century. i still can’t believe it. and then jay thought of him and was convinced that it can’t be him! that was my omg moment, which is one of many watching you marvel at songs i’ve heard for decades. my very first omg moment in the mid-70’s was when someone once said, “paul mccartney, wasn’t he in a band before wings?”. thanks for the positive channel! 👍
Would like to suggest a Canadian classic, one of the best Bar-Songs ever and had two generations singing along with it whenever it played. Spirit Of The West - "Home For A Rest" a rockin' Irish influenced boot stomper.
Always love the Wilburys. Great song and reaction. Please do The Wilbury Twist next. It is a fun video too with many guest appearances from their friends. You may recognize some of them.
They wrote all the songs and recorded them all in 10 days! This is the most Super of Supergroups! And then this album won a Grammy! All singer/songwriters, all lead vocalists, all guitarists, all could produce their own songs. Includes the very best lyricist in the world (Bob Dylan…ah, yes…don’t ever forget him).
My favorite of theirs is “End Of The Line. As for The Highwaymen, it’s time for you to visit them again; check out “The Last Cowboy Song”, live. btw I didn’t notice any audio problems with last night’s videos.
Bob Dylan!!! Robert Zimmerman. Dad of Jakob Dylan of the Wall Flowers. Shabtai Zisel ben Avraham. Lucky Wilbury! Blind Boy Grunt. Boo Wilbury! Bob Dylan!!! Bob ‘Blowin In the Wind’ Dylan! Bob ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’ Dylan! Bob ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ Dylan! Bob ‘You Gotta Serve Somebody’ Dylan! Bob freaking Dylan!
So great! These super groups are fun! The title "Last Night" reminds me of another song y'all should check out. You've done a couple of songs from 5th Dimension but not one of the sweetest. Marilyn McCoo's vocals and lyrics on "Last Night I Didn't Get To Sleep At All" are just honey.
Yup, on the left end is Bob Dylan. And speaking of whom: you need to react to The Hurricane by him. A true story of boxer who was falsely sent to prison for murder. An incredibly good song!!
I was in high school when this came out. It was one of the first 10 CDs I ever bought. I bought my first CD a few months before. Prior to that I bought cassettes and vinyl records, I also had some old 8 track tapes that my Mom gave me.
When I think of supergroups that only came out with one or two albums the second band i always talk about after traveling Wilburys is Little Village awesome-there 1992 album is awesome .
Tweeter and the Monkey Man by the 🇨🇦 band The Headstones is rockin’ and a must hear!! 😊 Fun fact, The Headstones are from the same small city as The Tragically Hip, Kingston, Ontario!!!
Bob, the awkward guy, in We are the World, USA for Africa. He was so shy, what he missed everyone in that room was in awe, and Stevie Wonder pulled him aside , and played his interpetation , on piano , and said, this is how Bob Dylan would sing it...the rest is history! ❤
Great collaboration and this time it sure worked, 2 ultra cool albums full of great songs from a bunch of masters. One of them is George Harrison, I would love to see you guys get back it him as well, do Isn't a Pity for another wonderful tune. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎸🎹🎶
They’ve reacted to Dylan several times. They are very familiar with him. It is surprising that they didn’t recognize him They’ve also reacted to Wilbury videos. Maybe they forgot he was in the group.
The main voice standout on the chorus is Bob Dylan. The fact that he joined the group was the most amazing part! Don't forget Bob!! When I think about Bob Dylan's contribution to The Traveling Wilburys, THIS song is one that really features his vocals albeit on the chorus. Check out "Tweeter And The Monkey Man" from the same album for a song with Dylan on lead vocals.
I haven’t heard this song in so long, I didn’t realize it is basically a ska song!!! You should listen to more ska!! I Can’t Wait, by Hepcat, would be a great start!
So many supergroups, like CSN, Cream, ELP, Faces, and i consider ABBA a supergroup, they were all stars before they joined. There are more, people can add to my list.
Look how far you two have come… Twasn’t that long ago you didn’t have a clue to who any of these people were. And being able to identify some by their voices? Nice!
Great reaction to another Wilburys banger.
BTW, the guy on the left is a little known up and coming singer/songwriter. He was born Robert Zimmerman. He changed his name to Bob Dylan.
Mark it down: he’s gonna be famous. Remember; you heard it here first! 😉
His music is okay, his singing is barely passable, but I reckon he needs to improve his lyrics if he's going to make it big. ;)
Bob Dylan is the other member
Dylan should never be an afterthought. The lyrical genius wrote over a thousand published songs.
Who?
When you listen to some Wilburys and wonder why the music flows so easily, it's because you're listening to a group of guys who have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone. They're completely at ease with each other and egos are left at the door. They're doing this ,not because some record exec ordered them into studio, but because they love it.
perfectly said!!!
Sadly, Bob and Jeff are all that’s left. RIP to three of music’s greatest artists. ♥️
✌🏼😎🇺🇸
Don't forget the great Jim Keltner.
Absolutely . . . R.I.P. To: Roy Orbison, . . . Tom Petty, . . . George Harrison . . . . All Of Them, Were Masters Of Song Writing, Guitar Playing, And Singing . . . :-)
Bob and Jeff? I think you mean Lucky and Otis, and Buster Sidebury is still shufflin' 8-P
I'm poor, so finding funds to get to concerts is more or less a fantasy. I so much wanted to see Tom Petty, David Bowie, and John Denver. ELO was my favorite band back in the 1970s....and I see that Jeff Lynn is going to be in Seattle in August.

I'm 60 now and have seen too many of my favorite artists pass away and yes, Roy Orbison is not far down on that list. :
The guy on the far left is the only one that won a Nobel prize for literature.
I was just about to write the same.
🤣
I love the Traveling Wilbury’s! How in the world can you forget Bob Dylan!! To me he is QUITE unforgettable. ❤
Younger folks don't know Bob Dylan
I played this cd for months when it came out. Roy Orbison's voice was simply incredible.
He wasn't known as "the Caruso of Rock" for nothing!!!
Yes, it’s Bob Dylan. Who do you think was singing lead on Tweeter and the Monkey Man?
Please do even more of this amazing band!
The most super Supergroup!!!!!!
That little known fifth member is Robert Zimmerman. He had a somewhat limited and sporadic career, it's a wonder they let him in the band. 😎
😂
Those funky drum fills were Jim Keltner drumming on parts of an old refrigerator.
Keltner got to drum for two super groups. The Wilburys and Little Village (John Hiatt, Nick Lowe, and Ry Cooder).
Buster Sidebury!
The refrigerator was used on the song “Rattled.”
Roy the greatest ever voice!!!
Guys you have a serious deficiency to Bob Dylan music. Only have done him 4 times on your channel. He’s probably the greatest American artist of all time. Guys get with it!
I agree Bob has written more words than there is , as they say.
Totally agree!
Greatest? A bit hyperbole. Elvis says hello! I don't dislike Dylan, but he is severely overrated when it comes to his singing. There's a reason why he has no solo vocal in this song. And he has never reached #1 as a solo performer. How can you be the greatest of all-time without even one #1 song?
Sadly, Bob Dylan's label are copyright demons .. hard to find too many Dylan reaction videos on CZcams.
I agree. How can you leave out Dylan?
Left to right on the album over are Bob (lucky Wilbury) Dylan, Jeff (Otis Wilbury) Lynne, Tom (Charlie T. Wilbury), Roy (Lefty Wilbury) Orbison, and George (Nakihama Wilbury) Harrison.

I see Traveling Wilburys on Rob Squad Reactions. I click. Let’s go!
Bob is arguably the most iconic member of the band. Need to explore more.
George is with him as far as most iconic.
Roy Orbison is probably the most iconic.
@@robbielux8353 I said arguably but I bet if you asked George he would say it was Bob.
It's Bob PERIOD.
@@John_Locke_108No, Bob Dylan.
Bob Dylan with sunglasses! It's amazing what sunglasses will do to change your look, but that is definitely Bob!
The fifth member is Bob Dylan
The final member on the left is the great American poet Bob Dylan
George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty on backing vocals 😂 Glorious! ❤
YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!! I second this with everything in me!
“You took my breath away” is a must
Roy Orbison's I Drove All Night (Cyndi Lauper recorded it later but her version came out first). Both versions are good.
More Traveling Wilburys one of the best band of all time! 🙂
Love me some Wilburys!
Still itchin' for y'all to react to "You're not alone anymore", a brilliant Traveling Wilbury's song
Yess, its Bob Dylan
Traveling Wilbury’s while not many people don’t consider them a official band, as they never toured and that is course because Roy Orbison died as the 1st Album came out. and even though they made a second album without Roy, I remember reading a quote in a guitar magazine, article interviewing George Harrison, (I think it was in the early 90s) and Harrison never thought it would be right to tour without Orbison. Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Heading for the Light"!!!! Also George Harrison's "All Those Years Ago" and "Bangla Desh" !!
Jay and Amber the cover here from left to right Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and George Harrison.
Travelling Wilburys - Heading For The Light
Yes that's Bob Dylan
ROY. 💜 I grew up on this album. Dad and I loved this song so much. Makes me miss him 😭. Can’t wait to watch this reaction
One of my favorites by them
The song you did that you were trying to remember was Dreadlock Holiday by 10cc
YEESS !! It is Bob Dylan 😊
Another supergroup you should check out is The Firm. Members of the band include Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. A good song to start with would be "Satisfaction Guaranteed".
You should watch the video “The true story of the traveling Wilbury’s”. It’s a great piece about the group.
Don’t forget your main man from Tulsa OK, Jim Keltner, on drums!
Wow on this song. Congratulations on getting the sound fixed; everything is so clear now. Of course, your reaction is on par.
Great song.
Tom Petty ( Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ), George Harrison ( Beatles ), Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne from ELO Electric Light Orchestra.
You're not going to believe it, but last night this song came through the speakers at my parents' house. They played the entire first album. So, it's time for some Bob Dylan."Hurricane", "Tangled up in Blue", "Lay Lady Lay".
I think the other song you were thinking about is 10 c.c. dreadlocks holiday ( British band, loads of hits, do them again sometime ❤.
You need to watch the music video they made for this song. You'll crack up laughing.
Bob Dylan on the left the most unique voice in the world
Love this one! Have to dance every time I hear it. Next check out "Not Alone Any More" and "You Took My Breath Away".
Yes! Not Alone Anymore has a great lead vocal from Orbison.

For some reason Bob Dylan is doing his best Jake Blues impression.

George Harrison - Isn’t it a Pity (version 1)
Yes, and maybe Beware of Darkness.

Bob Dylan! Of course...
Bob Dylan? Really guys? Who is that guy on the left? It is THE BOB DYLAN!!!!!
I know seriously!
This means you guys are going to have to do more Dylan songs.
Sometimes they border on the ridiculous on face recognition on reactions Is that Bob Dylan C'mon !!!
They’ve reacted to Dylan several times. They are very familiar with him. It is surprising that they didn’t recognize him They’ve also reacted to Wilbury videos. Maybe they forgot he was in the group.
Yes it's Dylan. He probably wrote the song.
I think it was Petty.
Gotta do "Heading for the light". George sings lead. It's fire.

I’m surprised you’re back with The Wilburys- but I’m glad! Truly one of the greatest albums made in music history.
Its a guy named Bob Dylan, Nobel laureate
Definite Caribbean vibe!✌🏼❤️🎶😊
A true supergroup.
“Uncle Albert, Admiral Halsey” you both would love.
6:45: You are absolutely right Jay, that's not Bob Dylan, that's Lucky Wilbury.
You can't forget the supergroup with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink. They remade the 70s song "Lady Marmalade".
I didn't know they were a supergroup.
@@magneto7930
They aren't
I haven’t heard this song in so long, I didn’t realize it is basically a ska song!!!

Oh yes ut is Bob Dylan Jay and Amber who do think sang lead on Tweeter and the Monkey Man !!
Look how far you two have come… Twasn’t that long ago you didn’t have a clue to who any of these people were. And being able to identify some by their voices? Nice!
At last! I've been requesting this one forever!
The Wilbury’s Song & VIDEO The End of the Line is a MUST SEE CLASSIC!!! Apologies if you already did it!!!
Outstanding choice. Several songs from them.
Should of watched the video it is really entertaining
How can you forget “ his Bobness”… greatest lyricist ever ❤
Bob dylan was a noble peace price for his lyrics over the years..
My favorite by them is "New Blue Moon"
You need to watch the offical video if you haven't yet... they had fun with all their videos
The one on the left is a Nobel prize winner for Literature - Mr Bob Dylan, he sang the lead vocal on Tweeter and the Monkey Man
