Been doing this side moonwalk since 95. It took quite sometime to learn it on my own by just practicing. I had no video to keep checking. No youtube. And his way of explaining it is on point. Thats not how i learned it. But he broke it down.

Hey how many hours would you say you practiced this per day when you first started to learn how to chalk? I’m curious because I’m not sure how long I should spend practicing this per day.

There is no minimum practice time or number of times until your body automatically figures out how to do it. Just keep practising it consistently and you'll get it

I learned to moonwalk perfectly by learning from you sir

Once you learn to moonwalk, a lot of these become easy to transfer too. The slide glide, or MJ sometimes did it in a circle, it is basically the heel toe alternation and then you can do it any direction. Going forward looks a bit sketchy though but sideways, and in a circle, great.
