The last premium tank to get buffed (as far as i can remember) was the Panther 88 (and the Progetto, EBR but those buffs were because of the stupid "never nerf premium tanks" philosophy). As far as i can tell the Panther 88 is no OP tank that destroys the game.
The other premium tank buffs i can remember were a really long time ago when they buffed all of the preferential MM tanks at tier 8 and those are also not considered OP.
WG tends to buff premium tanks only if they are in the supertest phase and not if they are in the game already.
All the "donkeys" expected Bisonte to be Progetto mod. 46 with armor. Oh boy, now they are disappointed for gambling their carefully invested money to well balanced tank.
And now they call it trash because can't play the tank :D
I think the reason people are calling this tank trash is because they expected it to be op like the Progetto 46, but it isn't.
Ist trash for other reason, it just has no thing really good about it. Mobility, gun and armor are simply all not that great, only the gun depression is really good. But thats neglectable with a gun that cant hit anything.
@@neinniemals8357 The ability to dump a clip if you can survive a single shot is pretty underrated. You can never be safe pushing one of these things. Sure it cannot snipe well, and yes the armor isn't unkillable, but the fact you are ALWAYS a potential nightmare is not something to downplay.
@@deathsdentist There are other tanks that are far better at doing that than the Bisonte is, the IS3-A for example. The Bisonte is just a Bad Premium tank, like the T-77 is.
I dont mind Premium tanks that are balanced, but I want them to be mediocre at least. The Bisonte just needs a little better accuracy, after that I would call it okay-ish.
@@neinniemals8357 The difference is that the IS-3A dumps its clip to get better dpm. The bisonte keeps it, so it is always a threat. A normal autoloader cant keep putting shells back in, so if the bisonte is playing well (like QB against the ferdinands), the enemy cant do anything because they will die if they push. Bisonte is very powerful as it is, and everyone saying otherwise is not playing it correctly
It’s definitely the gun handling. It’s worse than a lot of Russian tanks. I do believe it’s balance.

I am glad it's not OP, but nah it's just trash. I destroy the Bisonte in pretty much every single tier 8 premium, including the Lowe which is probably one of the more balanced tier 8 premiums. The Bisonte turret isn't even capable of bouncing my shells but maybe 50% of the time as most. Its hull is terrible obviously
The solution to that isn't difficult. All it needs is a bit more turret armor. If it had that it would be a solid tank, but as it stands I can just shoot it in the turret and beat him even if he's hull down

When I encounter these nearly every time it is played like a normal auto loader, so I wonder is this part of the reason some people think it is trash?
You really can't play it like one, you get demolished if you do. At that point it's DPM becomes horrendous, and you will get overpowered. It's best to only dip into the second or third rounds when you are finishing someone off, I always try to keep at least my last shell in the clip unless necessary.
I one shot and keep two on the ready for when the need arises. Track an opponent with good side shot potential, unload and take cover. Comes across the back of a juicy tank low on hit points, give it hell. Otherwise, treat it as a regular tank.
Not just they play it like autoloader, they also use it to side scrape which exposes it's lower plate. Ridiculous.
It's prob because the turret isn't that strong. I could even pen the turret in a löwe with normal ap.

I think we all agree that Bisonte is not a op tank, and that is what we wanted, you use premium tank to train your crew or making credits, not drive to the battlefield and crush tier 6 and tier 7 tanks.
Also I must praise WG is doing a great job by stop releasing op premium tanks, don't listen to those cry babies, they are just noobs who want another Defender for them so they can stop doing 0 dmg per game
I have found that, on average, if a tank's play style clashes with a player's personal play style, they tend to think the tank is "bad". I've seen complaints for every tank. Even seen people say the Prog 46 sucks, a tank you had placed in the Pay to Win category (or was it the over powered cat in that one video, I forget, you rated it high). In short, I have that there is not that many tanks that really do truly suck, just, tanks that go against my play style. And, I've found that to be true with lots of people.
People that typically snipe and play tanks such as the E 25, I have seen them complain about how certain heavy tanks suck, because the heavy tanks go against their play style. I've seen heavy players complain about how bad light tanks are. Arty players laugh at how easy it is to play any other tank...wait...their complaint is that other tanks are easy...nevermind, ignore them.
My point is though, that everyone has a certain play style, and if that style and a tank's play style clashes, then people will say the tank sucks.
For some reason, I am the only one who thinks that the STA-2 is awesome.

I will say this about arties...most of the artys are very easy to play, there are only some that are really hard to play.
@@forgerofsouls9126 I think it’s just the lack of armor and the not insanely high damage gun that makes it feel a little too normal or average. Feels like the normal type in Pokemon, not specialized in anything, just pretty good at everything.
@@RSWebery Yeah, exactly my point. The people that try to play it like your typical high alpha and high armored heavy are going to have a bad time in it. The tank just does not fit their play style.
the secret is just to stop emptying the drum. unlike the tier 8 meds, you don't fire whenever you have the chance, you only ever fire the first shot unless you are certain that you will be safe for the next 30 seconds. and in the meantime, the threat of a full unload keeps people from rushing you, which basically makes up the biggest downside of a low dpm heavy on a med flank.
And with that FABULOUS gun handling you miss two out of three of these...

Before even watching the video fully, my thoughts on it are this: It’s armor and gun depression are great, however it’s accuracy is all around awful in every aspect. Even with Vstabs and Improved Rotation I feel that I can only hit around 60 to 70% of my shots. The other thing that gets me is the reload. I feel that I’m always reloading in the tank and never have 3 shells ready to use. I don’t think its awful, but as my friend pointed out “in today’s meta, if a tank isn’t great, it’s bad.”
fully aimed shot at a stationary target...shell misses almost each time (at least for me anyway) i'm just an average player, but still

Black Prince taught me that DPM doesn't mean anything. You will rarely get to shoot enemies constantly.
DPM means a lot if you are able to use it and especially very low DPM can be very problematic. In many games with the Bisonte I was simply not able to protect the teammates or my own tank because it reloads for ages (and then misses the shot). Contrary to that a Caernarvon can even hold off a push if it is heavily outnumbered.
well actually Black Prince has pretty mediocre DPM along with low damage per shot, that’s why the damage doesn’t stack up.
DPM is one of the most important things in the game
DPM mean everything if you can take advantage of it... I.E. the STB-1

It's perfectly fine farming Ferdinand's with HEAT... The massive use of premium rounds is why I can't return to this game. The game used to be semi balanced until the credit economy was saturated and firing auto pen rounds became normal.

Like the Mutz, patton KR, STG, and WZ-111, These vehicles are not shit nor broken. They're just balanced. WG did it great with the besonte and i wish to see more T8 prems like these in the future.

Did awesome in a T32 10 years ago, Bisonte comes, basically a faster version of a T32 and am happy with it. Personally this tank is superior not op but sitting close to it.
I got my first win after 11 losses, and now I have only 14 wins but 28 losses with 2100 average damage. It's the MM that is trash.
Its the Christmas season man, you cant expect good winrates. Just play for wn8 this time of year.

My win rate is all over the place right now. One night it's 70%, the next night it's 30% (or less). So many premium tanks in unskilled hands results in a great deal of unpredictability. Hopefully it will settle down after the holidays.

The gun stats aren't that impressive, but I'm happy that this tank is balanced.
The game does not really need new OP tier 8 premiums... Or even better than tech tree premiums. It has hurt the game for a long time and now it's time to stop it and start healing the game by adding balanced premiums and good tech tree vehicles.
The game will never heal as long as the ebrs prog and defender are in the game
Exactly what the guy above said. It’s too late to return to “balance” or “normal” and that’s the problem balanced tanks are now just underwhelming and they can’t compete with these god tier and op tanks.

I actually like it, it does very well. When you are brawling and conserve shots, it’s got enough pen and such to do damage like any other heavy.
If you’ve lost a flank or know you no longer have much time to live, you can dump the magazine just to squeeze out some revenge shots.
Alternately if you know the enemy is faltering you can rally nail it down with a final rush and mag dump.
Yes it’s slow, yes it always feels like it is ammo racked, yes the beeps for the improved autoreloader are misleading ( I think the high pitch beep should mean “loaded” not 2 seconds away from full load)
The accuracy hasn’t been much of an issue for me from what I have experienced. I have had much worse tanks in terms of gun handling.
I love this tank.. easily one of my all time favorites. It’s so fun to play it’s a great tank yet it’s not broken unless it’s played against tier 6 but it’s very balanced no doubt.

I love my Progetto 46 and I really hope this amazing thing will be for sale outside of loot boxes. This was literally the only reason why I wanted to get loot boxes... but changed my mind in the end after rethinking it. I'll wait and hopefully there will be an opportunity to get it "normally."

If the turret is facing forwards directly underneath of the emblem on the side of the turret is the ammo rack you don't need to shoot the turret shoot the hull but it's a good reference point
First time I’ve watched QB in a long time, I was happier to play wot instead of watching videos on it, That was until the most recent update on console, I’ve given it a few days and it’s safe to say WG have successfully achieved what they’ve been trying to do on console for yrs, kill the game off. Played the game since launch on console, and if I’m honest, the mercenaries update we got was the beginning of the end, but this last update was the final nail in the coffin. I’ve researched almost every tank in the game, excluding most artillery, I have a lot of premium tanks and have bought a yr if premium since the ability to do so. I had god knows how many thousands of battles, was super uni, 100% marked all of my tanks. But now, the game disgusts me, but I don’t want to go to PC and have to grind out everything from tier 1 again, lose all my prems etc. I don’t know how much influence you have with the Devs for PC wot, and probably even less with the console version, but I’m sure the very small community of wot console players would appreciate it if you could even just take a look at the update and give your opinion on it.

I have bounty vents, bounty vert stabs and a turbo on mine. Sounds weird but, it’s amazing. I do have a very skilled crew, also using a premium consumable. It’s a beast with that setup though, as long as your view range is at 445 or more
For the people who are struggling to take a hulldown bisconte out: the lower part of its gunmantlet is really weak and can be penned with ease when using prem ammo.
Prem Ammo is for noobs.

I love this tank. I use a bond v stab and Bounty rotation system for a 42,5 % dispersion bonus.

Rotation mechanism doesn't actually decrease dispersion when turning turret. The speed increase increases it by the same amount it reduces it. It's the same effective dispersion afterwards.

I'm having much more luck with the GSOR right now (60% after 30 games) but then I did have a pretty good British TD crew to drop in. I have no Italian crews at all,so apart from the commander who I hit with an 850k training manual, the rest of my Bisonte crew are at 50%, which I spent on repair skill across the board. My first game in Ghost Town was great but had a few crappy matches since. The problem I've had on a few maps is getting spotted early in the game when driving into postion. I do wonder if I need better camo but then I guess that's map dependent. Need to play more and get the feel for this tank before passing judgement.
I think it needs a very small gun handling buff because this gun can drive you nuts if you fully aime every shot of your clip and all shells land in the ground

@@adioperta1451 Sure... but 40s Reload after the 1280 clip and 321mm of APCR pen will drop to 220mm!!! at long Distances. Skorpion is still by far the better TD.
@@adioperta1451 miss one shot and you are in major danger. It’s power comes from fear more than anything, much like the kv2 or FV4005. When it’s loaded, very few people are willing to risk a hit but once they know you are loading, you better have a way to get away or teammates to cover you.

The only thing I'd want buffed is 50-100 more engine power. My WR in it is around 48% right now -- and I don't dump my clips. To compare, I have a 61% WR in my Samoua. It need more engine power to retreat when needed. Retreating sooner just screws over the teammates still on the flank. Yes, Samoua is slower, but it has a better clip and hull armor.
I feel like it should play like a fast heavy but can't. I guess it plays like the Renegade, which I also struggle in for the same issue of choosing between equipment that betters your dispersion vs. equipmemt that betters your mobility.
My first game on abbey in the Bisonte had a lot of medium tanks, so I actually pushed up mid and went hull down (luckily there was no arty), and managed to do around 4k dmg and around 3k spotting and tracking. I love this thing, and I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but I also wouldn’t say it’s the best. I think it’s a good tank that does well depending on the lineup on the enemy team, as well as what your team does
I noticed that many people don't know how to play autoreloaders, so many times they just dump all there shells like autoloaders when there's still 3 full health ennemies
I still don't really understand how that reloading system works, so you get a refund when you fire in the last 2 seconds? Does the shell just go through it what happens? Sorry if that's a dumb question to ask

I only wanted it to use the U.S Base colour to make it look somewhat like an Abrams, other than than that it’s just another tank.
Haven't played in a long time... do people still use the obj 279e and the chieftain?
I don’t think it’s bad, in fact I quite like it and have been performing rather well compared to other tanks, though that could be my play style.
I use vents in the survivability slot, and in the other two I have vertical stabilizer and improved aiming mechanism. It brings the accuracy down to 0.36, which makes your shots hit a lot more as long as you aim.
The only thing I would change about the Bisonte, would be to shave off like 10% of the reload time, when you have all 3 in the magazine, it would be cool to have 9sec reload for a 360 alpha gun, that way, it’s much simpler to play against tanks like a Renegade, because they straight up out DPM you even when you are firing 1 at a time every 10.5sec as it is now, with all boosters bar directive and improved vents
Its a good tank in a HT costume that should be played like a MT/HT hybrid. That and there are some drawbacks (flaws).

@@asiftalpur3758 HP/WGT ratio is poor, so going uphill to get to a position before the enemy is usually a no go situation. That's the most annoying one.

The Bisonte is awesome. It's like a T8 T95/FV4201 Chieftain. Get on a ridge or hull down and most T8s to even T9s can't touch it.
I blocked 5.6K in it and held off a Jagtiger, an M46 and Centurion and I think a Renegade for part of the game in the valley on Lakeville. I only died when the rest of the enemy took out the town flank and took me out from behind. And I'm a below average player - but I consitently get good games in this tank.
Although I find it quite slow and run a turbo on mine.
It really is an awesome heavy.
Bisonte requires a different play style that most players are not used to. The hull down ability and that fire 1 shot reload ability is great esp in the situation that Quickybaby did. I have a buddy that I platoon with often and we both enjoy this tank.

Absolutely love this thing. Standard B is my favorite tank and this plays like a balanced heavy version of standard B. Average like 2300 dmg per game.

Because the Current Player Base is Trash anymore and alot of them are in Tiers they've No Business in since Blueprints, Crew Books, the Smaller Tech Tree are now a Thing.... The days of actually Grinding are Long Over and the Race towards Tier 10 is on....
I love it! I was lucky yesterday I spent 60$ roughly on crates and got all but the Bisconte . Had a hunch this morning and bought 3 crates. Got it on the third crate😅 . Had the same rough amount of luck last year🙏.
I run my bisonte with bounty IRM, V-stabs and Vents and it is awesome, i love it, and great credit earner too :)
First off, thank you Quickybaby for all that you do on CZcams for the World of Tanks community. My Dad and I are BIG FANS of yours (On NA, we're known as SniperGrambo and HelonTankBlaster respectively, and on the EU server, we're known as MagnificantPaganBeast and LeRenardSubtil respectively), but nevertheless, neither of us have really been impressed by the Bisonte C45, primarily due to the armor and the HORRIFIC gun handling on the tank, especially in regards to its accuracy.
In any case, keep up the good work, and we look forward to your future content :)
Turret front could be a bit stronger imo, was sitting hulldown and an enemy bisonte penned frontturret with AP.

My favourite premium tank and wasn't even actually looking for it in the loot boxes. I was looking for the maus skin and got pretty much all the other skins and the 3 featured tanks but not the maus skin, was pretty triggered. Did get it in the end but had to spend 200€ for it.

After 40 battles, i finally learned how i'm supposed to play this. Usually i just roll with the mediums and play just like quicky here. Avg dmg around 3000 at the moment
I got it from the first box out of three and it is fun to play (I adjust my play style to a tank not playing same way in everything)
The problem with this tank is that it is in no way a heavy tank. So, you get paired up against enemy heavy tanks in the matchmaker, but then cannot assume the heavy tank role. This leads to either (1) you play it like a medium as QB suggests, leaving the other heavies on your team to take on the heavies on the enemy team at a -1 disadvantage or (2) you play it as a heavy tank since that is the role the matchmaker gives you and you die. I find that I am not able to successfully play this tank in either role as I just get focused and killed no matter where I go.
Also, I spent around 35-40 bucks (USD) on boxes and got the French sherman (-_-) and a style for the Japanese med, in which I had no previous plans of grinding towards..
I am hearing a lot of talk about how you have to spend at least 75 to get any of the tier 8 tanks..
I know its "random", but... it smells, eh?
After almost 100 battles it's rly the trashonte, you feel happy if you get 2k dmg with it and every shot is painful IF you use it with regular setup
After you put in bounty EQ, premium consumables, even directive for vertical stabilizer and using 4-6 skill crew to boost movement and gun handling and also get that 440 view range without coated optic it's just feels broken, 4-5k dmg is easy, even in tier 10 sometimes and you are crushing everybody below tier 8
The problem is this is a premium tank and you may want to use it to farm credits but it's just not worth it after all of this, just to max out the bounty EQ it costs 9million credits
For me it’s the fact that the tank gets “injured” that frustrates me. Today was playing in this tank and got three crew members dead with a broken turret and ammorack. Today was bad day for this tank but, it gets ammoracked a lot whenever it gets hit.
After they buff spaced armour it should improve. The new update was rumoured to buff spaced

Love my Bisonte, averaging 980exp per game in around 80 games. Sure the hull isn't the best but get it on a ridgeline or hull down and it's sweet as.

I like the Bisonte, it seems to fit how I play. Where as something like the Obj 430U I have a 13% winrate on. I have no idea what to do on that tank and its regarded as amazing.

I've been really enjoying the Bisonte C45. Had a fair few 3k+ dmg games and it prints credits. Feels a bit like a T8 super conq. but with reasonable mobility like you say. Gives you the option to play with Meds or Heavies depending on the terrain. Overall well rounded but not OP. Looking forward to the Italian heavy line.
Tank punishes pretty hard for shooting more than 1 ammo since the reload will be absurdly higher. Otherwise it's decent and turret can actually bounce even some tier 9
I have yet to play it but it kind of seems like its in the middle of being a front line heavy and a support heavy
I don't very like it for the 3sec between shots. It's a very long time, and in most situations I can't shot second time, and it's frustrating when you use a tank with clipgun.. The long time for reload clip isn't so bad for me (it can be better anyway)
In the NA server, my bisonte gets penned in the turret non stop by standard rounds. It is mush. the aiming is also weak.
The key difference here is that the Bisonte cannot disengage if you fire all three shots unlike the progetto. So you can get punished hard for sacrificing your DPM at the wrong time. I think the tank feels balanced. It can out trade by double tapping enemies or apply decent dpm on a ridgeline. Just don't get caught out with an empty mag.
People seem to play Auto-reloaders like auto-loaders; and it annoys me. You use the auto-reload to brawl, then pump out damage towards the end of a fight. Not to spew your damage then wait for a full reload.
Frankly I wish they did more premiums like the Tiger 131. By that I mean significant historical examples of tech tree tanks. What was the first T34 to drive into Berlin? I would buy a premium of that. You get the idea.
I realy like the bisonte, it reminds me of my t29 but has a burst oprion built in for the last tank to finish or to counter a push on you....
My average damage of this tank is 2509. This is my favourite tank if not in tier 10 Room.

Luckily I've got this tank for myself and I'm pretty happy with it. Play style is different, stay behind cover, wait for good shots and hide again, repeat, repeat and repeat. Fun tank!
I would consider myself as a decent player, playing this tank as you say definitely need a unique play style. The gun reload is ok any better and it probably would be op, but yes the bloom on turret turn and so on is awful! Driving around it’s middle speed is usually 35kph. But armor wise I feel it’s like a medium, if you’re lucky you bounce 1-2 shots per game.
Also first game in this I was ammo racked without having fired a shot. Only took one hit to do it, it was a 130 caliber gun but still.
Also been penetrated by arty more than once cause of the amazing 30mm roof armor
