- Blackcraft Cult booked this 2019 PPV and it is now the 3rd worst rated PPV outside major companies. The show boasted a very strong roster of future AEW talent and it should have been a really good show. Pentagon, Fenix, John Morrison, Gangrel, Teddy Hart and Masato Tanaka were amongst the biggest names this show had to offer fans. This was the story of a PPV with terrible time management as they choose to focus their time on whacky angles instead of the matches and this lead to half the card running under time. Fans were livid. The scheduled main event lasted 10 seconds which is why fans hate this PPV so much and here's my review of this hardcore wrestling show!

It's one of his hobbies along with stunts, dirt bikes, hanging with his friend and scouting for another payday.
He got to make sure people does his finisher right if they stole it or else he will just go back to Carolina and talk to his stoner friend about them. Even though that one time his friend stole his finsher but they made up and he is ok with his friend doing it.

Crazy to see The Crown (Alexander James and Massive Jurn Simmons) in that wacky show. Jurn Simmons is a great dutch wrestler who works for the german promotion wXw which brought us Gunther, Ludvig Kaiser, Ilja Dragunov, Teoman, Alexander Wolfe and Claudio Castagnoli.
That first match was definitely a I AM THE TABLE Moment
Fortunately not all older Guys are bad in the Ring, it always depends on if they Stay in Shape and actually want to have great Matches. Sting was also in great Shape when he retired at Age 64.

Yeah, they could have actual deathmatches where the survivor wins a large amount of money and the loser either gives up or is knocked out/slain for real. Most matches would be normal singles ones but there could be occasional hardcore deathmatches where multiple weapons are scattered outside the ring (like the Roman coliseum) and each wrestler gets to pick what they prefer. They could also have Inferno matches and Buried Alive matches in graveyards with an empty plot and coffin where the loser is literally buried alive and the only way to get out is if you have a tag team partner or have friends who are present to dig you up before you suffocate.
That would be dope as hell, not going to lie.

Watching this Blackcraft show live on Mania weekend was the most fun I've ever had watching wrestling. Everything on display was the worst, and I loved every second. I WANT MORE OF THIS TRASH!
I dont know how or where they pulled the funding for this roster but I'm impressed with some of the guys they got that were also on brand. Pinhead was an excellent idea for a casting. They tried some interesting stuff and clearly it needed far more work to be cohesive and solid but wrestling shows can obviously be chaos. Gangrel, Masato Tanaka (holy shit he is still amazing), Penta, Butcher and Blade, Johnny Nitro.....a couple of the indy guys I thought were also pretty good. As messy as this was, I kinda liked it. Cagematch has been the laughing stock of the iwc for about 30 years. Even terminally online wrestling nerds thought cagematch users were weird but now youtubers are taking it seriously and reporting on their ratins as if 15 votes are worth talking about, strange times.
Well there isn’t another rating system to use. I like to see if they’re right. I don’t think they were right on this occasion. There was enough entertainment here.
Matthew Justice is apart of MLW with appearances on GCW alongside Second Gear Crew members 1 Called Manders and Mance Warner who had a sip of coffee for AEW, MJ and Manders just dropped the MLW tag team belts to Davey Boy Jr and Tom Lawlor
I remember how bungled this PPV was. It felt like watching a trainwreck, which was a shame considering the talent (& Teddy Hart) who appeared hear.
This show ist basically Reverse Ring of Glory.

Unlike the Harris Twins (allegedly), SHLAK during his youth did actually join a neo-nazi gang with a picture of him online somewhere doing the salute. It was actually because of this that SHLAK was kicked off an indy show in North Carolina to the best of my knowledge. SHLAK has since reformed himself and become a better person, forming his own band called Eat The Turnbuckle and wrestling around the US for companies like CZW, XPW, ICW No Holds Barred, internationally in Mexico, Japan and the UK and, of course for GCW. GCW acknowledged this and SHLAK became one of their regular wrestlers.

It would have made much more sense to use the crucifiction ankle as a way to bridge the time while their crew was redoing the ring. That would have instantly saved them 10 minutes without needing to cut anything. Especially when being on a timecrunch being smart like that is important.

I was there that night!! I can shed some light on some of the things that happened. If i remembered right Joey Janelas Spring Break 3 was on before them but they started really late because of the ROH Supercard of Honor show. So that already fucked them over. I forgot if they did that meathook spot but Shlak was supposed to get hung up on a meat hook. He wanted to do meathooks. It also took them a whike to set up the chains as well.

I collect tales of outlaw mudshow fiascos like they're Pokemon, and I was not familiar with this one, so Marky gets my deepest thanks. Oh, and also for the Manhunt reference.
The thing that gets me is that even if they had started on time, they would have only had 20 extra minutes. With 6 matches at 5 minutes or less, that really only leaves a few minutes extra for each match. Still would have been horrible
If they cut the angles it would have saved like half an hour, the first one had zero relevance to the outcome of the show!

the reason Masato Tanaka has such longevity is japanese training is way different from american training. it makes you more flexible, and trains the neck to be stronger. also, tanaka spent what felt like an eternity in 6 man tags in njpw for a few years.
That building probably only has the curfew on the weekdays. Because they had Joey Janela's Spring Break there the same weekend and it lasted until early hours of Sunday morning
