Only one dev? How can one person make all that? The different skills required and the insane amount of work that goes into making something like this must be through the roof. Lots of people try it, but I am convinced most give up when it dawns on them exactly how much work it is to make a game.
It's not just one guy, just mostly one guy with outsourcing for things like Art Assets and so on. It's also been in development for like.. 5 Years? iirc and is just now going into early access. Still very impressive though.
"Straight lines were only invented in 1776." Probably trying to call out the grid in New York City, BUT, the lower parts there are still curvy and 'unplanned.' The Commissioners Plan to implement the grid came about in 1811!
there's ancient Greek city states / colonies using grids afaik. though once authority collapsed it stopped and over time those grids vanished once new construction replaced the older stuff.
if you are needed to micro manage food, maybe there should be a notice that pops up, large notice not small that says berry season, sowing season hunting season so that you dont miss the change of season
Hi Martin! Is quill right that you *must* micro families on farming or berry picking duty in this game? And if you forget to reassign them during the winter, they'll just do nothing? If so, that mechanic sounds awful.

Quill plays Manor Lords, and I watch!! Then I go play Ostriv, because I am broke. :( :)
Quill and not liking to micro, name a more iconic duo!
I can't blame him.
Poggers in chat for more Manor Lords
Lords taking money from bandits is more like taxation with plausible deniability.
Still watching the 1st part, but could not resist to attempt a "First" comment :)
