I have never dared do Dresden , I’m 79 and want to learn more. You are a wonderful teacher.
I just want to thank you for the videos. You’re by far the best teacher I’ve ever met. This includes the ones I have paid money to see! Thanks for simplifying the process, for not playing music and not trying to be so full of energy! Keep up the fabulous work!!😊
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Great video. Directions are clearly delivered without excess chatting. Looking forward to watching more.

My goodness... I've watched literally hundreds of quilting videos and you are by far one of the best teachers I've ever watched. I just found you today, I've never done a sew a long it seems you been at this one awhile, I just chopped up the last of my background fabric today. I love the blocks your doing. If you keep this up you will definitely grow your channel your very good at this! ♥️

Best hand appliqué video Ive seen! Thank you!💞🥰
So pretty. Thank you for all the tips!
I love making Dresden blocks. I use a blanket stitch to applique and I honestly never thought of using a crochet hook to turn the points, so I learnt something 😊✅✅ thank you.
I have been quilting for a few years and I still enjoyed your video. You are a wonderful teacher and you obviously enjoy sharing your knowledge.
You should feel very proud of yourself.
Much love and thanks 🩷🩷🌷🌷

Wonderful demonstration. Easy to follow in timely manner. Enjoy myself watching. Now I have something on my mind on Dresden. A new word for me today is Dresden. Thank you.
You're an amazing teacher!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent!
Hello Jessica, this was a great video on making dresen plate blocks. I really appreciate all your details on your instructions. And you went slow enough so that along with the instructions it could be seen easily in the video. Beautiful hand stitching also. It's a lot of work I think making the Dresden plate blocks. But so worth it, I so enjoyed watching this video so much. That I joined your site. Looking forward to more of your videos. And learning how to do more things. Thank you for your time.
I’m so excited I found your channel thank you for making Dresden block look so easy!
Jessica, you are a gifted teacher and a really good quilter! Thank you for all your work sharing your gifts with us! I am a 80 year old quilter and retired teacher of small children, so I know what it takes to succeed at both endeavors! ❤️
Thank you very much!
The Dresden intimidates me. Glad i found your tutorial. Really enjoy your teaching style and especially appreciate that you arent chatting constantly. Lol. Thank you!
Greetings from Windsor Twp, Pa. I’m zoning in on quilting today since our weather is horrible. I’m waiting on summer to arrive.

Wow you are such a great teacher ! I just stumbled upon your channel & I’m hooked. I am a beginner quilter & I have not yet made a Dresden plate. I’ve been wanting to make one but haven’t had a chance. So when I get ready I will watch this again. Thank you so much for the great explanation of this tutorial I love it. Can’t wait to watch more of your tutorials ! 😊
I love the fabrics you used. I’ve made one Dresden, by hand. This looks like more fun, and faster!
Jessica, I just found your channel this morning and I am thrilled with your style of teaching and explanation. You are so generous with your time and clarity.
You have opened my eyes to the ease with which the dresden block can be constructed. I am excited to make them and see the final result. I am also excited now to check out the other blocks and also continue to watch every video you have done. I love simplicity, and I love quilting with a clear path in front of me.
You get a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review from be. You're awesome!!
Thank you so much! I am so glad that you find the video helpful! Let me know if you have any questions!
I am SEW grateful that I found you this week! I've been a quilt lover forever and started in the 90's but always got "afraid" of traditional, so I did modern and made up my own designs. Now that's to you I am finally going to branch out. You're an amazing teacher!🤭
You are so welcome! I'm so glad to hear that you find my videos helpful! Thank you!
This makes me so happy ❤
This makes me too
Terrific instruction...thanks for not lingering on each stitch, etc.
It was very easy to understand 😊Thank you ❤❤
Glad it was helpful!
You are awesome 🎉❤
i watched some other videos and i think i like the way to show everything...gonna try this out!
Wow amazing
Jessica, you are an amazing Natural teacher. I could watch you all day. Thank you.
Thank you very much!
Easier way cut 2 circles plus seam allowance. Right sides together. Sew completely closed. Cut an x in back side of circle to turn circle inside out. Using your crochet hook about your circle. Press. Can clip seam before you turn it which will help it to lay flat better
I love this and your teaching style is wonderful!
Thank you so much!
Brilliant! 😊
Thank you!
❤Good job
I am so pleased I found you! Dresden plate intimidated me for years. Watching your method, your voice is very nice. You show us everything. Thank you. 😊

Jessica, as I was watching this I was so impressed with your teaching skills… you explain absolutely everything! A beginner could learn so much from you and while I am not a beginner I learned about little things that I occasionally struggle with. So thinking I needed to comment to tell you and other viewers that you are simply and amazing teacher, I read the other comments and everyone has exactly the same reaction to you tutorial!
U Win! The best online teacher ! ! I will be back for more!
Well, thank you so much for that! I am so glad that you think so! Thanks for being here!
Thank you for this! I have never made a Dresden, but with your tutorial , I plan on making a lap quilt using your tips.
So pretty. Can't wait to try it!

Thanks so much! Your video is great, I’ve never liked appliqué because I find directions for them difficult. You make it seem very easy!
It's really not too difficult. It does take practice but I hope you give it a try!

Thanks for showing the best finishing off process as well as the sizes etc., very clear instructions, most appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful Work. Thank you.
Beautiful! Love your choice of fabrics!
Thank you!
You give instructions so well. I have a sewing machine but dont use it as I prefer hand sewing so I'm glad that you did some of that to show that you can hand sew this project. I too have always been fascinated by the Dresden Plate and you have taken alot of the mystery out of it. I would also like to see you do some Quilt as You Go projects. Thank you new subscriber here ✌🏻♥️

Thank you so much for this video I've been so afraid of trying this but you made it simple for me a beginner quilter I'm definitely trying this again thanks. Romi
You are so welcome! You can do it!
Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
Beautiful needlework. I really never thought about it before but I didn't think just one stitch at the time what's the way it was done. LOL I was told 45 stitches on your needle then pull and when I done that quilting none of it was in uniform they were big small medium stitches etcetera... not looking good at all .😪 ,when quilting by hand... thank you, that's such a beautiful Quilt Block as well tasteful and neat . Like I would love my work to look like ..?thank you again for sharing. .. beautiful work❤
You can load as many stitches as you want. Sometimes I do a bunch and sometimes I only do one at a time. I don't believe there is a right or wrong way.
Great tutorial!! Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
That was really nice how you explained it. I want to give it a try.❤
You should!
Thank you very much
You are welcome
❤ grasias muy clara la explicación 😊💯🤗👍👌🇨🇱👏👏👏!!
Nice video
Love this tutorial. I will now have to try this. Subbed
Awesome! Thank you!
Wonderful demonstration. I’ve made a few Dresden plates, usually to stop at singles for pillows, but you’ve renewed my love of them, so I may break down and make a throw size one (3x3)
That's great!
I just came across your video and really enjoyed it. You make it look so easy because you explain step by step. I like this particular pattern you made. I will attempt to do this with different scrap pieces I already have. I just subscribed to your channel and will continue to follow. Thanks for the lesson.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this video. You are a great instructor. I watched a quilt block video right before watching this video and what a difference. That lady is lazy, nonchalant about her sewing and never gives full instructions. It's a pleasure to watch your videos.
I am so happy to hear that! I try really hard to explain everything thoroughly and make the content understandable. I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful!
Elinize sağlık güzel oldu
Very nice video
Thanks!
Awesome video! Thank you… Subscribed!!!
Awesome, thank you!
I really liked this tutorial. I'm ready for a Dresden quilt.

Je vous suis depuis l'Algérie, je fais du patchwork depuis 2 ans seulement, vous la meilleure prof. que j'ai rencontré sur youtube. Merci et beaucoup de succès pour votre chaîne.
Thank you so very much!
What good instruction! You have inspired me to do a dresden plate from all my 20's and 30's fabric. I have been quilting since the late 1980's and have never done a dresden plate. Thank you!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy making it!
