I've been using the proraso sensitive skin line for eons now. I first discovered it at bath and body works. Fell in love with the scent, and even tho I don't have sensitive skin, I was drawn in and have been using it ever since. I use the shave soap in the tub, and their after shave balm.
Great video! I was on the fence about getting one of these until I watched your review. It should be perfect for a week long vacation. Bought one right away with your link below and I’ll probably be back. I think they will make great gifts. Cheers!

Geo, this was the very first Proraso item I ever tried, I didn't buy it for travelling purposes, because it was small, I thought it was the best way to purchase some small sample Proraso items to try them out!
I have been in love with Proraso shaving supplies ever since!
The only thing I found a little disappointing, is I do believe Proraso only offer this kit with their menthol pre shave and shaving cream?
Due to suffering with sensitive skin, I find any menthol product drives my skin crazy!
But this didn't stop me from trying other Proraso products, and I'm so glad it didn't! I absolutely love there red shaving soap, and that white aftershave balm is truly fantastic!

Proraso green is not only my favorite proraso but also my favorite shave line of all shave supply I possess currently. It was my first preshave and soap when starting shaving traditionally. The soap that gave me irritation doesn't count as proraso green eliminated all razor burn and redness that soap gave me. Hence my favourite🥇🥇🥇

Geo💈💈 Another great shaving tutorial and presentation. The Proraso travel kit is perfect for a few shaves, 3-4 could last 10-12+ days. Even adding an alum block and razor, it's small and easily packed, I could see taking this lots. Thanks for the video. Enjoy!

Also just wanted to reply to some of the comments regarding the kit, especially one negative review in particular that is on the website.....
Get over it already, this product is not meant to replace your daily shaving regiment at home. IT’S FOR TRAVEL!! And I must say, it’s the perfectly efficient way to enjoy shaving with quality Products while traveling.
Just received mine today and it is small, which is ok with me. I'm going on a trip soon and I'll just use this kit on my trip and see how it goes. The brush fits into a prescription pill bottle perfectly because the cap has just the perfect rise in it to accommodate the brush ends. Checking bags to my first destination and mailing an envelope of couple blade to my second destination (no checked bag). Looking forward to using the kit.

@@geofatboy thanks man. After 2 shaves I am converted. Ordered a bigger brush, bigger tube of parasso ,an alum block and some shaving soap also. Unfortunately not from shavenation as I am in Ireland.

Another great video as always, Geo! Feather razor blades are good, but they're pretty harsh on sensitive skin. I'm about to try Personna razor blades soon and I'll let you know if they do the job or not, Geo. Have a great day, my friend. 💈☺️
Bought the Gilette Fusion heated razor. Though I am a DE shaver but sometimes I like to change it up and use my Mach3 and Fusion and also my Gilette guard which is a single edge cartridge razor
Same here, I think it's easier to get a closer shave quicker with a cartridge. As long as you don't go ATG, cartridges are fine
You bought the heated razor? I thought it was a ridiculous gimmick when I first saw it.

They used to use cigar boxes to hold a shaving kit for travel, so that little box is perfect for it.

Admittedly, the brush is tiny and not one I'd want to use every day (and I hand-make quality brushes), but, hey, on the road, this thing does the job quite well and takes up practically no space. In fact, I enjoy using it with the cream provided.. For someone going on a trip of 3 plus nights, they might want to get a couple of these kits, particularly if they're going to be flying because everything is so compact. I bought three of them for an upcoming trip to Denver (from Georgia) because the cream is not enough to last for that whole trip. (The little plastic balm bottle can be re-filled from my big bottle).

Hi geofatboy, I am a big fan of your channel, I think I saw almost all of your videos and the ones I like the most are the ones with some crazy twists like for example blindfolded shaving etc. As a headshaver I am waiting for a video where you shave your head with a DE razor:D Is there any chance we'll see it one day?:D Does it ever cross your mind? I have contemplated doing that for a long time. The best part is it will grow back. The closest I've come is a clipper set to one.

Hi Geo, Wild Bill here from the Show Me State! Wow you just can't beat Proraso I know I've been using it for 40 years now. But I've just got to ask have you ever tried Razorock shave products? Their made in Italy too.

They have awesome brushes and CNC machined safty razors all at prices that can't be beat. Geo you owe it to all Shave Nation fans to start carring Razorock products. Also Geo in your shave brush video you didn't mention the different types of synthetic brushes. Mybe you could make a video about that. Remember Geo great shaves start with great shaves products.

Geo, I think my comment got buried a while back, but I was just wondering if you plan on getting the R41 replacement heads and Ikon OSS handles in stock at some point. I wanted to pair them together (just don't like the Muhle handles) and I wanted to make my next razor and blades purchase from your site as thanks for your super helpful videos.
Also, this is a long shot, but have you heard anything about Muhle offering the R41 replacement head in stainless steel? I know they have the whole razor in steel, but their handles are just too slick for my butterfingers.

4:40 I have a curiosity and I couldn't find the answer anywhere,
why do the Feather blades have on one edge a line and on the other two lines?
Is it for cosmetique purpose or one side is sharper than the other? I am really curious.
I've seen the lines, but one side is not sharper than the other. They both shave equally well.
I always get a second screening at the airport when they see my DE razor and have to check if there's a razor in it. Even when I separate the 2 or 3 piece razors. Lately I just end up packing a cartridge razor to avoid the hassle but miss my DE while traveling. They also don't allow the DE blades on carry-ons. I usually don't check in a bag. Are there options that I'm missing that allows an easier experience when traveling with your DE? I once ordered some DE blades at my destination, but can't always do that. Appreciate any thoughts.

Man, if only the TSA didn't freak out about travelling with removable razors. When I go on a weekend plane trip there's really no way to not use a filthy cartridge system because it's a pain to have to run around trying to find DE razor blades in this Gillete-centric shaving culture in the us..

The last trip I went on I knew I was only going to travel with a carry on luggage so I mailed a few DE blades to the hotel I stayed at. Or you can go to a drug store at your destination and buy some King C. Gillette DE blades.
