Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Its crazy how the final 4 episodes Breaking Bad are all in the top 10. They really gave us the perfect ending.
Yessss
Definitely right! If only Game of Thrones had the same outcome
Salud is now 100% more impactful because of Better Call Saul. Everytime now i see Eladio stare at Gus i get flashbacks to his last scene in Fun and Games. He sealed his fate when he let Gus manage the north side of their business.
I agree. It definitely increased repeat viewings for me
Everything in better call Saul makes breaking bad better. Like mikes death
@@DCshandle It makes Mike's death way more heartbreaking
@@jto541 yeah that’s what I meant it makes it more impactful and emotional for one to watch
@@DCshandle so very true..
Everybody knows that the fly was the best episode in the entire show

this but it’s not a joke
Unironically an amazing episode
Anna Gunn DESERVED that emmy for Ozymandias, goosebumps every time
As a parent, that episode absolutely destroys me.
As a teen who had this type of family issues in the past, this was real stress
As a former drug lord who had his family turn against me because of all my crimes, Ozymandias was very relatable and stressful.
@@stefanilic0421 damn. Can't even begin to imagine what YOU went through. Lol
As a former baby i found this relateable 😢😢
It's interesting how 'Ozymandias' is at a perfect 10/10 on IMDb, yet it still deserves to have a much higher score...
the only episode to ever be perfectly rated in history
peak breaking bad
outchicanered
every episodes are perfect 10/10 to me
@@g_pazzini not the fly episode.
And a lot of others.
@@yom0msfatHow do people say the fly episode is bad i don't understand it
There's nothing wrong with it
I feel Salud should be higher. It had the trio of Jesse, Mike, and Gus which I wish we saw more of together. It’s also much more interesting to watch now because of what happened in BCS.
I agree, Salud's on par with Crawl Space IMO (it's more consistent)... it's second plot away from Mexico is sorely underappreciated. RJ Mitte's best performance, and one of Cranston's best too ("I made a mistake") which is saying a lot.
He should have trusted hector but he was blinded by gus's money.
AGREE!!!!! Episode must be in top 3!!!! Gus, Mike and Jessi amazing trio❤
Crawl Space is a masterpiece. I have never felt genuine anxiety/panic from a TV show before. When he started screaming and laughing at the end of the episode it got under my skin and I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Agree. One of the very best. And that final sequence ... amazing.
@@dashx1103 _You gave our money to Beneke_
Both Crawl Space and To'hajilee are two of TV's most tense episodes
@@djpunyer8762 Agree
the music was... horrifying too
Agree with the ranking, but some of the scenes you chose to portray a lot of these episodes is a little strange. Like, no Walt down in the crawlspace for 'Crawlspace'? No train heist for 'Dead Freight'?
I think that's the point. They chose the underrated scenes from each of these episodes. Everyone knows the main ones, but these amazing little scenes are what make these episodes near perfect.
@@Pratikmayekar4 I'm not so sure about that, they still chose some of the most bombastic, iconic scenes for Face Off and Ozymandias. Which makes it even weirder imo.
@@RustySpoonsfeelGood All the scenes in this video were amazing. These episodes were so good that there will be multiple opinions on whether these scenes were the best.
@@Pratikmayekar4 Agreed.
Agree - like one minute isn't the one minute part.
After almost a Decade Ozymandias is still a Perfect 10 on IMDb
Suprised that "Gliding over all" didn't make it into top 10. Such an amazing episode
fr
That had my favourite montage of the entire series, Walt finally achieved what he wanted
That or confessions should be here instead of dead freight. Specially *Confessions*
it’s tied with salud, confessions, full measure, and one minute at 9.6/10
There's so many really good Breaking Bad episodes that its forgivable that some won't make the top 10.
Granite state is my absolute favorite. The entire episode dedicates to the very last moment, the comeback of Heisenberg with the badass intro theme.
I like that you really chose the best scene from Ozymandias! This dramatic family confrontation was the highest point in TV history! ❤
what a direction, when he says we are a family, and he pans out as if it has fallen apart, the whole reason why he faced so much difficulty was at the end not with him
Still blows my mind that in One Minute, Hector is sitting on a wood 'wheel' chair. Vravo Bince
Walts last words to Saul: Its not over until i say-
Sauls last words to Walt: Its over
Bravo Vince 👏
A testament to the quality of the show that the most rated episodes are also the last ones. So many shows fail their landings or grow stale when this one finishes on the highest notes.
It's because networks don't want to cut a cash cow short, and this business model unfortunately is at the detriment of shows' quality.
Ozymandias is best hour in TV history. Change my mind
Mr.robot 3x05
Felina? Granite State? Crawl Space? All of the above I think are better than ozymandias
Long term parking… Sopranos
Succession 4x3 "Connor's Wedding"
@@perkshaven hmm... Thats a tuff one to tbh..
From what I can find, Ozymandias is the only piece of content on the entire site with a perfect 10/10 rating
Imagine being an actor and given a scrip for one of these episodes for television. If they knew how well Ozymandias would’ve been received by not just fans but the industry as a whole for years and decades to come.
Truth. Can't speak to the actor's reactions, but Gilligan and the writers (Moira Walley Beckett (sp) wrote the script) knew they had something special w/ Ozymandias... Gilligan claimed something to the effect of "strongest episode of the season, maybe of the entire show"
@@kcmet79 This was after Face Off from the end of season 4 too. BCS had great episodes too that rank alongside BBs best episodes. Chicanery, and Plan and Execution.
That Ozymandias scene is so tragic but Flynn's "I think he might've killed somebody" line is so funny
I think "Hermanos" episode is phenomenal and definitely one of the show's best... a very gus-centric episode.
I think Crawl space and Ozymandias are the pinnacle of the genius behind this show. There are those who like big explosions in Michael Bay movies. Quite literally, it is more "epic" in proportion to anything in Breaking Bad. Yet the pinnacle of this show showing the White family tear apart irreparably after us viewers watching them go through hardships, only to rebond, and then to the scene in Ozymandias. It's the genius behind character development and why it is so important to a show to connect the viewers to them. This show is about change (like chemistry), and to change from episode 1 to Ozymandias is a bigger and more extraordinary leap than any other show.
i understand why Ozymandias is number one but for me Felina is the best. i don't know a show with a more perfect ending. The song, the title, that scene with Walt and Skyler, its just too good.
Yeah when I watched it for the first time I coulen't believe how fast it was over, definitely my favourite too, the perfect ending
Felina was really good but do you know The Americans or Twin Peaks?
I completely agree..Felina was the absolute best. Masterful.
One of the best shows of all
Time.
Hopefully there will be Huell’s Rules

Your #1 was also by far my #1. That scene shakes me every time I see it! The helpless look on Skylar’s face as she drops to her knees sends chills down my spine!

You just know scene number 5 is one that Hank re played over and over in his mind once he found out. Walt was so on edge.
3:03 Wheelchair foreshadowing
Mine is clearly the pilot, I love Waltuh with hair. Also the opening shot is iconic
if you like him with hair, what about granite state and felina?
@@Cakeyboi4 I mean, yeah
Man they are all so good
Every episode is iconic
Ozymandias was the the episode I realized how emotional attached I was to this show
11:24 No one can deny Saul's clairvoyant powers. 😆
For me, 'Dead Freight' is the number one.The thrill-filled, meticulously crafted train robbery would easily hold its own in the best heist films. The opening sequence is also brilliantly intertwined with the closing frame, achieving drama and shock factor.
I never noticed Skyler's reflection on microwave oven on Felina
23:39 hector think he sigma💀
11:20
I cant believe saul actually went to become a manager at a Cinnabon
I watched Breaking Bad for the second time recently, this time with my dad, and the face he made during Ozymandias... I've never seen him like this, this episode is so intense
What was his reaction to the Lily of the Valley reveal?
Just finished rewatching it but with my dad watching it for the first time and he really enjoyed it and had some great theories that turned out to be true
@@jordywoody14 His jaw dropped lmao.
Yooo, did anyone else notice that the chair Don Hector was sitting in in “One Minute” looks like a wheelchair?? 🤯
I noticed the chair, but only now just noticed the actual wheel on the back of it. Nice touch.
What I don't understand is that Walt Jr sided with Skylar, even though Skylar, in his eyes, attacked his father for trying to get close with no understanding, then right after, helps her and calls the police with a different story.
Him saying ”we’re a family” as the camera zooms out from them along with that music give me chills every time
Ozymandias is Just Something Else! I don't know how many times i watch this episode but i still have goosebumps when i see.
I feel like no one talks about the fact that hector in the flash back was sitting in a chair that was literally a wheel chair
I realized that Rian Johnson directed Ozymandias.
Yeah, the same guy who then went and directed one of the worst star wars movie of all time. 😅😅😅
How did Tyrus not see that bomb when he was checking Hector
Why would he check under his wheelchair? It was unexpected.
@@monstar3626 he should have checked EVERYWHERE

It's Perfect Ranking Ever🔥🔥
After watching BCS, i love the scene with Saul, Walt, and Jessie. It reminds me of when Nacho had the vet perform surgery on him and afterwards the vet called it off and said “this cartel stuff is too much”
There Will Always Be A Bond With Walt & Jesse..😢
16:15 "Quick and painless" they did exactly the opposite 😆
Hector rolling down Gus’s driveway was a better scene tbh
2:25
This is the Moment Don Eladio went for a dip.
1:49 Always makes me laugh. The way he brushes his shirt lmao
Better Call Saul made me go back and watch Breaking Bad all over again!!!!
Tohajilee is sooooo underrated, I see it and ozymandias as a single episode
Pretty good list but half measures is amazing
These are all fantastic, but idk my personal favorite is still "4 days out" in season 2. It's the core of BB for me
The Poisoning by the Pool,Was Awesome!
Breaking Bad is perfect but what make this is the best show ever is about details. The wood wheel chair in one minute I never noticed that , and like it tens of these kind of details. Amazing
The last few minutes of Crawl Space had me frozen with pure suspense.
i really respected the way hector taught the twins how much family matters. The method wasnt great but it did work. they never split up after that
I love 4 days out the most ngl
The shot of Walter and Skyler separated by the wooden wall is genius, it perfectly shows the state of their relationship.
Thank-you
I watched the entire show for the second time and it got even better than the first
it's me or the audio in Salud is different?
not just you
I always thought Gus’s plan was unrealistic. Not only did Eladio have to choose to drink it right then, he also had to choose to give some to all of his people. That’s a risky plan
I don't know how they even picked 10 episodes because all of Breaking Bad is genuinely beautiful and terrifying
That's IMDb ratings.
I never noticed that the chair of hector at 4:51 looks like a wheelchair, as a clue of what was going to happen to him.
Wow nice detail
There’s nothing better than watching Skyler White Breakdown.
There are definitely more than 10 that deserve a place in the top 10 list.
Anyone else notice the wheels on the chair he was sitting on in "one minute" foreshadow much?
Man these two shows are masterpieces
This show can’t stop amazing me
Hi love the content good Videos Great job. (Cool okay yeah):);)
Saus Cinnabon prediction was spot on lol.. wonder how much they planned that
Can you imagine Holly being raised by Walt alone and then, finally, when she is like 16, she learns that she was taken from her house and mother, that she is the daughter of, prolly, America public enemy n°1 and genius chemist, drug lord ?
I think Vince could pull out a nice story around Holly and her trying to figure her past out.
You know face off could have been ending for the series it would’ve been a good ending too
Season 5 was necessary for the consequences of Walt’s actions to actually be shown
4 Days out was also one of the best episodes
I’ve watched this series at least five times, and I still get nervous watching every episode lol
Probably people will be against me...but I will put faceoff over ozymandias
Likewise, I put 'Crawl Space' slightly above them both. I was entirely invested and disturbed by it.
Say what you want about Eladio but man had a good music taste. Cant go wrong with Thee Oh Sees.
Gus's reaction and his face meanwhile Hector's half of the rest of his body falls back to the floor 😆
What is the song that plays outside when everyone is falling from the poison in the first clip.
Tidal Waves thee oh sees
The way he goes into the bathroom, and comes out with the guy dead is so cool to me.
The episode in season 3 where Walt and Jesse were inside the RV with Hank on the out was absolutely insane.
Walt jr. really wasn't telling the whole truth when he called the cops lol
The final three episodes of season 2 are very underrated
That U turn into the accident was so intentional I have no idea how Hank didn't notice.
He never thought Walt would be the guy he was chasing all along as he always thought lowly of Walt.
"Say My Name" was the best scene and episode of Breaking Bad.
这冲突设计的,绝了
ozymandias always hurt me, skyler making rash decisions because of ignorance and walt refusing to explain anything tore the family apart, but jr picking skylers side after she slashed him first, that was infuriating and really showed how walt changed for the worst, jr used to trust his dad but that whole fight told him that his dad was evil, all because walt had to keep more secrets.
I love full measure and 4 days out
Excellance at its best.
Everyone involved in Breaking Bad was in state of grace.
Thank you for the ride, it was a pleasure to watch.
Great list, but here's mine, just for (off the top of my head) fun.
1. Ozymandias
2. Dead Freight
3. Say My Name
4. Salud
5. To'hajilee
6. Face Off
7. Granite State
8. Four Days Out
9. The Cat's In the Bag...
10. Fifty One
4days out is one of the best honestly
Walt’s dedication to family makes fast and furious a joke
the best
Crazy to think #1 they all probably had a nice and peaceful breakfast and talked about the future that morning.
that circuit is one bullet hitting a target confirmed
17:35 if things go according to walt's plan then they wouldn't just let him go after one cook , they kept him as a prisoner like Jesse to make him cook by threatening his family.
lol? if they wanted to keep him as prisoner they could do it right then and there, he has literally in a room with them
He would have been a former kingpin with a bunch of cash, they wouldn't cross him
@16:40 or so.. see Walt/Heisenberg wanted Jesse killed. In the big "rescue" of Jesse in the end people forget this.
