I love that _Spider-Man_ (2002) reference when you introduced Saul’s job as a “criminal” lawyer question.
The most amazing thing to me is that they took the line "Lalo didn't send you?" and made the most amazing character out of that!
You guys didn't mention those two dead bodies found in the lab burned down
??????m
Let's talk about Gus's kinda gay trip to the wine bar at the end of BCS
Hector's bell has better story and writing than 98% of current shows today
Facts
lmao agreed but u say that like bcs came out 20 years ago
True LMAO
No it doesn't
Best character arc in all of television lol
Knowing Lalo and Howard are buried under the lab is wild.
I watched that episode today for the first time
Damn!!! I mean damnnn!
Kinda ironic 😅
And then you add 2 more corpses on top. Sinister
I’m gonna miss this universe more than I care to admit.
Im sure we will see something from this universe in the future.
Blessed to get a full series plus a movie and a prequel. I'll always rewatch
same
Next series: Fueling Huell
There are other arcs that could be great.
Jesse in alaska
I even imagined a crazy story arc about a sped up timeline of Walts daughter taking over her dads Meth legacy after being bullied and denied a decent life because of her fathers mistakes. Maybe she seeks out Jesse and learns how to cook the blue.
I liked that they gave us the information that Skylar did get the deal also that Huell was still alive.
Huell don't rule nothin'!
Sucks that we didn't get to see Kuby this season (we're probably not gonna see him in the last two episodes) after Bill Burr was supposed to appear in Season 5 but couldn't due to scheduling issues.
Why would huell be dead?
Skyler*
I liked that they gave us that info as well
I just love how even such a small thing like hector’s bell has such a bad ass backstory
That's when I was confirmed that writers were just showing off
@@bhuvaneshd4436 the entire series of both shows is the writers showing off. That’s why they’re so good. You’re not some intuitive mind who figured something profound out.

I'm telling you, every character, no matter how small, are so well fleshed out. Mike Ermantraut's backstory.....man, you can see why he was what he was. Two of the best shows ever made.
It was that episode with Mike's backstory where you just knew they were going to smash BCS out the park.
I’d love to see a Gus fring movie or show. His rise in the military could be nuts
I just ran into him at Starbucks in Malibu
Even Hector's bell got its own backstory
You told it like gus telling hector don eladio etc. all dead. (Or at least i read it likr this)
In the end, Lalo gift was a means to the end of Gus.
Very poetic.
Also the laugh that Lalo had when giving the bell to Hector, is the same laugh he had when Gus killed him in the lab
Bravo Vince 👏👏👏
Lalo Salamance is the greatest character to come from a throwaway line in television history. He completely altered the trajectory of Better Call Saul and pushed the tempo until his end. Tony Dalton was amazing. The greatest mystery of the Better Call Saul universe to me is how Michael McKean, Mark Margolis, Tony Dalton, Jonathan Banks, and Michael Mando were all denied supporting actor Emmys and Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seahorn miss out on lead actor and actress Emmys. That's just crazy.
Unholy that they didn’t sweep Emmy awards year after year
Because this show didn’t pander to the popular cults of psychos that run the industry (and everything else). If they would have, then you bet your ass they would’ve swept at every awards show.
No
The Oscars or Emmys are all scams and pre determined. Fuck it we all know they could win awards no problem
Was rather heartbreaking when Nacho shot himself but he did so with honour intact and Mike swearing to protect his father.
It was a badass scene, he literally spit in Salamancas face and took away their ability to torture him or get revenge their way.
noooooooooooooooooooooo u spoiled it
@@LUC1FER_R1S1NG Sorry man ,this whole video is a spoiler, you shouldn’t have watched it ☹️

Vince Gilligans ability to connect everything together is so damn impressive. No fictional world has ever felt so real.
That's what happens when the author has a sense of consistency. Unlike what happened to Game of Thrones where D&D ruined Martin's strory
Not really...
This is why I love Better Call Saul because almost every single thing that can be seen in the show has a deep meaning and also provides us backstories from Breaking Bad

One of the greatest shows of all time, Vince gilligan is a genius, every scene is a masterpiece 🤌
No, he is not as this was primarily Gould's show.
@@Cetra29 no really he is he created breaking bad and its characters masterpiece indeed go ahead vince!!
@Michael Mccaughey Peter Gould was the main showrunner for BCS & created the character. Of course, Vince is the GOAT but Gould deserves credit.

He wasn't disbarred. His license was suspended. If he was disbarred, he wouldn't be able to practice.
The show also explains where everyone has those cheap throwaway mobiles from in Breaking Bad. I think its only mentioned how everyone should use them, but not that Saul was the one selling them.
Mike is honestly my favorite TV character of all time, theres just so much more depth to him than what you see on the surface
And to think, he only joined the show because the actor who played Saul wasn’t available for the episode of Jane dying… Saul was going to “clean up”
I personally would’ve waited 2 weeks to make this, once it was actually all over
They always jump the gun and post these kinda vids before the season/series ends, it's a weird oversight to constantly happen
they had enough to make their video
@@mrnice162 i mean, there is going to be so much more explained though. we may see more of the gus story line, more of jimmy/saul end of life, more of kim? did she die, dwhat did she say to jimmy, etc. etc.
They're riding the hype. Most people won't see these types of videos after. Lot of chatter will die down. Get the views while you can.
@@jacobdockter3436 like i said they had enough to make the video be 20 entries, they made this video before
The cardboard cut out of Saul being put in the dumpster foreshadows him being found by the police in a dumpster. Only just clocked it watching this video!
Yea i don't think so...
The cardboard cut out being thrown away was just that, where else was it supposed to go?! Of course it was thrown in the trash.
Him being found in a dumpster by the police, has no connection with his cardboard cut out being thrown out in the trash.
Quit looking for stuff that doesn't exist!
16:35 Walter is not talking about the underground lab, but how Gus could´ve know what chemistry instruments were needed for meth production. Gus doesn´t have the chemistry expertise, and that is what suprises Walter. Gus then mentions that he had help, that being Gale.
This irked me too.. Werner dug the hole.for all Walt knew, the basement was already there
it was gael who know how to set everything up
Pretty sure Saul was referring to the dirty pills Ignacio planted on Hector.

Still want to know Who Gus was before he moved to Mexico. Don Eladio said to him, after Hector killed Max, “The only reason you are alive is because I know who you are. Just remember you are not in Chile anymore” or something like that. Thought it would have been worthy of a flashback in BCS
Hector's wheelchair backstory was so tightly and incredibly written with Nacho and Gus' involvement with their high motives and stakes and the way it all went down so cleverly devised it deserves the number one,
If you watch the show as a standalone or as a prequel, not one of these storyline explanations feels forced. It all flows smoothly. BRILLIANT storytelling. What a franchise.
Sad to see they didn't think to mention how in Breaking Bad, every lab scene mentions Lalos & Howards names in the credits. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not there.
Oh shit you were right,

The 2 shows together are a master stroke. I can't wait for Vince's next effort.
When Francesca first came onto the scene in BCS, I thought maybe I was just remembering her personality wrong from BB. She seemed so sweet before Saul corrupted her.
Could’ve waited..There’s literally 2 episodes left 😅
Was about to say the same thing…. They dumb as fluff sometimes
ha well you didn't think about this:
now they get to make another in about three weeks for more views
They already updated this video 3 or 4 times since BCS premiered. I'm pretty sure they will update again.
Don't worry, they'll re-use this same template and even the same answers 1 day later the show is over.
The final episodes are going to be all about events that happen after the Breaking Bad timeline so I guess it doesn’t make a difference
Saul Goodman:
It's All Good, Man.
Brilliant!
Thank you finally a recap/explanation channel that isn't a robotic voice the sound of a real person talking is so refreshing wow
feds couldnt get lalo.
lalo killed by gus.
gus killed by heisenberg.
now i can clearly understand the face of that guy made when walt said "say my name".
I think that guy's name was Declan.
I never connected Krazy-8 from Better call Saul as being the same guy in the beginning of Breaking Bad..
Best freakin' watchmojo vid. Seriously. Props to the writers, this is a quality deep dive on a complicated show.
I feel like there should be a question "How did Saul find out Walter was a high school teacher", showing that Mike found him, and also that originally, it was Francesca who found him in BB but the scene was deleted. I guess we knew it was his PI but it was nice to see how Saul went against Mike's advice.
2 characters that were briefly mentioned by Saul in his introduction to Breaking Bad became my most favourite characters in BCS
This show is perfection, awesome writing and care of the characters simply nothing better.
Better call saul just explains that jimmy was the main character all along
One of the only shows where I could feel my heart broken at the end...What an amazing ride both shows were
Amazing acting in both shows. Going to miss the BB universe
#8: Actually, Mike quit being a cop because of the events that happened during the Christmas season in Kingston Falls, 1984.

Hector being kept alive was already answered in Breaking Bad just not as in depth. But it was really clear that it was so that he watches his cartel dynasty crumble at the hands of Gus.
10:53 Adding to point 11, we see Jimmy deciding to pursue elder law in season 1, since his charisma works quite well with elders, and he genuinely wants to help them. After getting disbarred in season 3, he tries to convince Irene to settle the Sandpiper deal, so he can get his cut of the money, but he does so by pulling a scheme that results in her peers starting to hate her. When he realizes that was wrong, he pulls another scheme with the help of Erin to make himself look bad, resulting in the Sandpiper residents trusting Irene again, but distrusting Jimmy. After this, elder law was completely off the table for him, leading him to dive into the realm of criminal law again, this time as Saul Goodman
The bell sounds different before walt planted the bomb. It is clear. But after he planted the bomb it sounds the bell is being cut down by some object. Bravo Vince!!!
Lalo sadly didn't have that unpredictability Walter have. As gus managed to anticipate his moves and scored a kill despite lalo gaining an upper hand.
I think it’s less that Lalo wasn’t unpredictable and more that he didn’t have the element of surprise. Lalo was truly the greatest threat to Gus’s plan and it took all of his resources to beat him and get the upper hand. Lalo was smart, hard to predict, and knew a lot more about Gus and his plans than any other Salamanca. But Gus knowing this about Lalo was extremely paranoid about him and was on the top of his game. All this to say that Lalo was not easy to predict and was extremely adaptable. If Hector hadn’t accidentally tipped Gus off that Lalo was alive he wouldn’t had even known to still be on the look out for him. Walt comparatively was not as smart (a chemistry genius but not necessarily a great strategist yet), barely knew anything about the cartel, the Salamancas or Gus’s plans for them. Gus lost because his obsession with getting revenge on the Salamancas was used against him. And cuz Walt had no prior history that would make Gus think of him as that kind of threat. Therefore the element of surprise.
Lalo does have a serious Salamanca flaw and its hubris. He could've killed Gus but wanted to make that video so bad.
@@diptonsauce1985 he had to make the video, otherwise don eladio wouldn't have had any solid proof about the meth lab
The first episode of S6 starts with a cardboard Saul being put in the trash and the last episode ends with him being caught in the same place. Never caught that before.
I didn't get that either
Krazy-8 was Walters second kill. The first one was the partner of Krazy-8, Emilio, who died in the RV after the phosphine gas exposure Walter had made.

I just caught the significance of the Saul Goodman cardboard cutout being placed in the garage dumpster it mirrors where Jimmy ends up being caught by the cops in the series finale
One of my favorites is how subtle it is when you find out how Crazy 8 got his nickname. Lalo was so damn smooth 😭
Can we get a top 20 characters from Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul next!?!
Every time I see Madrigal in BCS/BB now, I immediately think of the song The Family Madrigal from Encanto and envision Mirabel Madrigal swapping places with Lydia at Madrigal Electromotive
we still need to know why hecto stops looking at Gus and this may be controversial but this show makes me look at everything that went down in breaking bad very differently. I hate that Gus never got his revenge on hector and now we know that Saul was the catalyst for Walt to explode in the drug trade
Gus destroyed his whole family & crew though, & put it on full display for Hector. & Hector had to just endure it, being fully aware but not being able to do anything about it. Also, I believe Hector stopped looking at Gus again because of the upper hand Gus gained on Lalo. The last time Hector looked at Gus (aside from Face-Off finale), he looked Gus straight in the eyes & shook his hand to “convince” Gus that Lalo was indeed burned dead at the beginning of season 6. Hector making that gesture, was an indicator to Gus that he was bluffing about Lalo’s death. So, I believe Hector refuses to make the mistake of giving Gus that upper hand again
I was hoping to learn more about the Gus Fring and Schuller backstory concerning Chile.
Best theory I've heard is Gus is part of the communist resistance against Pinochet and Schuler is an East German agent of some sorts that helped him. It's all so vague tho, that's just my best guess/what I've seen a few other people allude to.
Remember the drug bust of 700000$ on ep 1 of BB in which Hank was on tv which inspires Walt towards the meth. They showed that Lalo's man gave info about Gustavo's money drop on Better call saul when Oocho is caught by DEA.
I love series like breaking bad and venture bros because they can flesh out and call back to even the most minor things a character said in passing
Venture bros was soo good at doing this. They'd set up something and make you think it was insignificant only to pay it off in a satisfying way later on in the series
16:30 after finishing better call Saul it’s honestly more disturbing knowing that Lalo and Howard are buried beneath the Superlab 💀💀☠️
I wonder how long after Gus started cooking in the lab did he earn back the Madrigal embezzled money. I still don’t quite understand why Herr Schuller was going to be arrested; didn’t he and Gus gradually pay back the money (millions) from the money (multimillions) earned from being a major producer/distributor of drugs?
BCS has been amazing! Who knew these people could pull such an amazing world and people from nothing. The way they smoothly dovetail bits and pieces into the BB world is artistry.
He was funding the operation so he would've been an accomplice in all of frings crimes if they could've proven it and that dude was scared shitless from the start so as soon as the cops came he panicked pretty much imo
Them throwing out the cutout into the trash can foreshadows like crazy
I forgot that Mike was not alive at the end of the show and I was confused why he didn't show up at a scene towards the end
I rly liked Mike's character
Seeing Walter & Jessie on Monday's Saul episode was awesome
Ikr?👏🏾🙌🏾🔥💥
A true breaking bad fan knows all the answers to these questions
Saul talking to Walter in the school saying his "guy" found Walter was Heisenberg, charged him for a full 3 hours so he doubt it took him 1. His guy, was Mike.
You don't need BCS for that. When Walt kills Fring's dealers for killing Jesse's girlfriend's brother, Jesse went into hiding and Saul gives Mike a phony location after Mike threatens him. Then when Saul takes Walt to Jesse at the Laser Tag place, Saul tells Walt that his own PI was gonna break his legs for not giving up Jesse.
@@blebhan8213 Actually, it was easy enough to figure out even before that. As soon as Mike showed up at Jane's house telling Jesse that Saul Goodman sent him, I figured then that this was Saul's go-to guy for all things hands on.
@@Sandi2105 True. It's good to have a Mike and a Saul if you're a criminal.
Mike was always Saul's guy
What about the bodies in the super lab? On Breaking Bad after Heisenberg blows up the super lab the cops investigate and talk about finding two unidentifiable bodies in the wreckage. On Better Call Saul we learn the bodies of Howard Hamlin and Lalo Salamanca were buried in the lab meaning the found bodies could likely be theirs.
What ep in breaking bad is this?
I believe 5-1, Live Free Or Die.
Those bodies are two of Gus’s guys. Walt kills them near the elevator, where Gomes says the bodies were found. Walt kills them to get to Jesse so they can destroy the lab. The explosion doesn’t appear to go deep enough to reveal Howard and Lalo, otherwise there would be a total of 4 unidentified bodies found.
Two of the best written shows with great direction, acting & cinematography
These events were meant to appreciate scenes in BB but we turned out to love BCS equally as BB or even more than BB
Man,What a fantastic world created by such a good writers in TV history!
This was a great video.
Gus' conscience doesn't fizzle at all regarding Gale. Getting him into that lab was always his plan and he wasn't gonna have Gale piss it up by getting caught at a university lab.
What happened in Chile with Gus? That was talked about a few times but never given actual details.
21. How many pairs of Dockers does Saul Goodman own?
After watching the BCS finale, I'm still left wondering how Declan ended up in Albuquerque in the first place
This is so wel written man fuck respect to all ho made it.
Super lab was nurtured by lalo's essence 🎉🎉🎉
I can’t wait for this video to be a complete waste of time when the last scene of the final episode, Jimmy wakes up. “What a nightmare.” Then he rolls over and snuggles with Kim.
17:24 damn Gilligan was thinking so far ahead
My heart broke when Nacho and Ziegler had to die. Wish there was another way. This as well as its predecessor are amazing shows.
I wish they showed the story that Mike told when he was talking about "no half measures".
That was the only reason I started watching BCS but they never showed.
How Walt was precisely able to poison lydia is a big question mark.
It hasn't set in yet that Monday will be the last time I will see a fresh episode of the BB universe. These are my favorite shows ever these are the only things on TV that I care to watch
Francesca going from happy and bubbly to cold and detached is sad to see. It's probably the most subtle negative change arc in both shows but one that still has an emotional impact.

I watched this only after BCS was complete. Some very astute points here and brilliant concept.
