      Personally, I found it a bit slow until Chuck was killed off. That whole storyline dragged and dragged.
      I could rewatch Breaking Bad again and again but I have the feeling when I do one day rewatch BCS it will be with the fast forward buttons assistance.

    Watched Better Call Saul out of curiosity, seriously thought the writing was the best ever. I have almost done watching Breaking Bad and I'm just at awe on how the writers of both the shows have done an amazing job in connecting them. The writers, well and truly deserve an Emmy.

    Fun fact, that Cinnabon in "Omaha, NE" is actually the Cottonwood Mall on the westside of Albuquerque. I was there as they were closing and getting ready to film BCS after hours.

    When Saul represents badger he confuses him with another client who pissed in a starbucks, in the second last episode of better call Saul, the cab drivers mum mentions that he got into some bad situations, including urinating somewhere she didn’t want to mention. Best reference imo

    I’m a flight attendant and recently had a work layover in ABQ. The Breaking Bad Store was so awesome! Tons of autographed items from the show and several of the cast members have been there to visit. Lots of memorabilia from both shows. It’s quite small but really a fun little stop if you’re a fan ☺️

    Interesting fact: Zafiro Anejo was created by the breaking bad team after product placements fell through. no brand owners of alcohol were keen on having them feature a product that would end up killing people after drinking it. its based on a real line of liquor called Hardy Cognac part of the perfection series which only had a very limited number made and is over 100 years old. last i checked these are worth up to $20k per bottle for the fire variation this fictional alcohol line resembles closest making their expensive and luxurious appeal accurate to the story

    A brilliant reference in my opinion is the intro to BCS s6 ep5, it is so similar to the meth cooking scene in BB episode: 4 days out. A shot of resin being poured even directly parodies the meth being poured onto a tray.

      Another one to add is Dogg Paulson, Tuco’s business friend. Nacho and Tuco were selling crank but Tuco had some himself. Almost outta nowhere, Tuco pulled out a shotgun and shot Dogg in face. Later in Breaking Bad, Hank was telling about Tuco, Krazy 8 and Dogg Paulson.

    I have one that wasn’t mentioned. The restaurant where Mike tells Kim that Lalo is still alive and where she would go to meet up with clients has a big neon sign in the front that can be seen that says “El Camino”

    Venezia's Pizzeria is my favorite Easter egg... in Breaking Bad Season 3 The pizza that Walter throws on the roof of his house is from Venezia's Pizzearia. they had trouble with the slices going all over the place so tried using an uncut pizza and it worked, but you could see it wasn't sliced yet. in order to explain to the audience why it wasn't sliced, Vince Gilligan in Season 4 of Breaking Bad has Jesse asks Badger to buy breakfast for everyone at his party. Badger returns with a stack of pizzas from Venezia's. He claims that by not slicing their pizzas, the pizzeria passes the savings on to the customer and Jesse wonders out loud "How much does it cost to slice a pizza?" In Better Call Saul Season 4 Mr. Neff orders a cheese pizza and specifies that he wants it sliced.

    Season 3 when Mike is sitting with this lady from the support group in the diner she is doing crossword puzzle. I think thats a reference to Skyler in breaking bad. The first time Walt met her she was doing crossword puzzle. Also she mentions a name: Esmarelda. Which is also a breaking bad callback when Skylar had a house party , Walt Jr is filming with his camera and Marie comes up and says to the camera Hi Esmarelda. And then Skyler says after you are born your name will be changed to Holly

      That's crazy to me. BB had SO many memorable scenes and dialouges, while i can barely remember those kinda scenes in BCS. Tho i also love the show, many things seems more unimpactfull and lightweight compared to BB.

    I really thought that shooting a spin-off from BB was a terrible idea since BB was so great. BCS changed my mind : it is indeed on the same level (maybe higher sometimes) as BB. Now I would take any show in Albuquerque coming from Gilligan and Gould.

    I stopped by Loyola's when I was in Albuquerque a few weeks ago. It definitely isn't a real place you can eat at. It looked run down and had big cracks in the windows. Didn't look like anyone had eaten there in years.

    I don't know the medical background behind the electrical sensitivity that Chuck suffers from but facing my comment off of what Chuck said earlier in the court hearing about if the current isn't flowing or if there is not a lot of current flowing the effects on him from the electromagnetic disorder he suffers from our minimal. This would probably be able to be explained away with the battery since it was just simply a charged battery and there was no device attached to it creating a current drain. No load equals no current flow. And if there was any residual current flow from some kind of protection device on the battery to keep it from shorting out in your pocket or overcharging or whatever - the amount of current such a device would create would be negligible.

    How the hell did Sauls Sezuki get all fucked up like that in 3-4 years? The car is a 1998 model, episode 1 I think takes place in October 2001 right? Idk if that much wear and tear can happen in that short period of time... unless Saul got it at a salvage auction or something and never did anything else to it..

      I noticed it too) but I found that "crazy 8" is a real brand of children clothing, so it is known to heroes and real people, so when Lalo won over Domingo in poker, he just laughed at his three 8s in a hand, and remembered that store to kinda humiliate the guy. The creators didn't made up that sign intentedly.
