We bought the 2023 Blazer RS exactly as you tested it in Red Tint coat. Absolutely love it. Got it below sticker price with various GM incentives. Excellent review

Great review and like the grading system and actually providing your observational take on wind noise and ride quality with the seats super helpful !

Great review Sam. Seems like there should be more options available/standard at the price point for the RS. Have been considering an LT2.

As the owner of a similar optioned ’21 RS your review is spot-on. After almost 3 years of ownership I’ve no complaints with the RS as it’s presented no issues and is still very solid. One thing though, Chevy did dive into their parts bin with the dash. It’s been around since the 2014 Buick Regal GS.

Huh? I don't see the similarities in the dashes...

We have had two Acadia Denali and my son wanted to buy a new car so we got a 24 Blazer RS. I wanted him in a solid and reliable vehicle. He likes the future styling.
This is a rock solid platform and well engineered.
The only issue on the Blazer and a number of GM vehicles are the seats. Now when new they are stiff. But given some tim3 and use they begin to form to you.
FYI it does have native Nav.
The performance is 14 sec in the 1/4 mile and 6 sec to 60 mph. We get around 21 mph around town and 29-30 highway with the v6.
Many other SUV models put on a lot of make up to hide the warts under the skin. Bad engines and cheap materials in areas you can’t see but pay for later in repairs.
As for price we got ours for $7200 off sticker that made this a great price for what we paid. Nothing is cheap anymore and those with lower prices to start are cutting corners like Kia and Hyundai.
The number of features and the better trim you really do get a good package.

    Hello Sam.
Good review. Have you driven the Land Rover Defender? If so, what do you think about it? Do you plan on doing a review of it?

Very good review! Just waaaaay to much money. I dont understand why domestic pricing tries to tier up into the luxury market. For the same money: Lexus NX (will last forever, well almost) Audi Q5 (a beast in the snow, with winter tires). This vehicle, IMO, should be no more that $43K. The other thing not mentioned is the service dept experience, hit or miss when it comes to Chevrolet.

That's interesting... so Sam if the air vents in the rear is mandatory there.. does that mean alot of cars cant be sold there that dont have them? or was u just sayin "they should be" cause its so hot? lol

It's certainly mandatory at this price if one want's to be competitive.

Dude, there's no apostrophe in “Last of its kind." “It's" with an apostrophe means “it is." I know grammar is pretty bad these days, but damn...

10:23 it's not the transmission it's that overhead cam engine it lags on torque more top end power...I'm a fair guy I like chevrolet but I would buy a tahoe instead

@lsvegasman1 I think the blazer looks great but they should make it 4x4 option that way you can turn off the 4 wheel drive mode and save some fuel .

I hope GM leaves the Blazer with the 3.6 liter engine. I have a 3.6 liter in my Traverse which is a very good engine. I was thinking about buying the 2024 Traverse until I heard that the only engine choice is going to be a 4 cylinder turbo. Leave it to GM to screw up a good thing.

  • @petermeissnitzer662

Not even close to the same class vehicles from Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, and Kia.....leave it to Garbage Motors to either rebadge a Daewoo or Opel or Holden because their domestic brand engineered stuff is junk...🤮

Toyota , Honda , Kia , Hyundai...all are TURBO engines now and they certainly won't LAST...too much plumbing and too much pressure on the engine parts plus TURBOS tend to detonate after a while...GM wins hands down for quality and longevity. 👍

You don't know what you are talking about..it's way better than those other brands in its class
