The more likely plot twist is that it gets stolen. For such a desirable, one of a kind car, showing the storage lot that it is kept in in the age of satellite imagery and street view is just asking for it to be stolen. I'm not sure what someone would do with it if they stole it though. You wouldn't be able to register it for the street and it would make big news with the car community, so if you brought it to a track people would recognize it.

I do have one thought for you: make the paddles double action, so either hand can shift either direction. That way you can drive harder and don't need to worry as much about hand position.
