The most coherent Tony of all time
Tony's the type of guy to get reverse cte😂
Swear
Really was… it was like what hanging out with Tony would be like when no media is watching. I like this Tony.
@@Natediaaz209mental conditioning
Tony the type of guy to condition his neurotransmitters (Andrew Huberman style)
There's no way this dude just reversed CTE........ He's speaking more clear and positive than ever before.
Tony was on medication for bipolar/schizophrenia. Who knows how that’s affected him. I have a friend with schizophrenia and if he’s consistent with his meds he does okay but if he misses, he is not coherent at all.
@@rockNhardplaceWouldn’t surprise me if he skipped his meds.. obviously none of us know him personally but he seems like the type of guy who’d think he’s fine without medication and maybe he started taking it consistently now
Man it’s insane I was just thinking the exact same thing, seems so sharp and with it
tony would be the type of guy where cte makes him seem more normal though. no joke, this mans mind always goes a thousands miles tangent to tangent, if the cte takes him down a notch he might very well appear more sane and coherent.
Tony Ferguson the type of guy to get smarter the more times he gets hit
"When Khabib left, a part of me left" that hit me hard
It did, and it also never made sense until he said it.
The cope involving this man is absolutely wild lmfao… Khabib took no pieces of him, Justin changed his life. Very simple.
Yeah, you know they left him hanging on the top for so long, never got a title shot and had to do it all over again and again then even changed divisions just to fight the man who took his belt without even fighting him. That sucks
@@AMediumSizedKodiakhow is that cope? The CTE from this comment lmfao
Awww are you okay? Get a life 😂
Tony gave us so much through the years, no wonder everyone roots for him!

It would be nice if he can end his career on a W

This is the most composed and well spoken I’ve seen Tony. Kinda weird after six losses in a row.
Puts things into perspective and humbles you. I think his madness was self driven fuel to put on the performances he needed to put on to make up for his skill gaps.
Yeah it's good to see,I never liked him at first after how he acted in the Ultimate Fighter house but he brought it every time n got to respect that so to hear him more coherent than iv heard him in ages is good.

@@RikoRey92he’s 4 months shy of 40 years old. 26 wins 9 losses, soon to be 10 losses. 6 losses in a row. About to be 7 in a row. Man’s washed. Hasn’t been a decent fighter since 2019 when he beat an already washed retiring Cerrone. Before that was 2018 when he beat Anthony Pettis who also doesn’t fight in the ufc or even mma anymore. Before that was Kevin Lee who also got a bunch of losses and was washed at the time. So technically Tony hasn’t been relevant since 2016. No GOAT, not even close, can’t even see GOAT status where he stands. I don’t see a legend I see a washed weird fighter who had a few good wins and put on a show for fans and then went on a losing streak.
@@generalsoul1don’t hate he was champion when Connor ran away to go box lol. He was 15 and 1 in his first ufc fights. He’s a legend he gave us so many memories but I have to agree with you. He’s washed I like tony be he’s washed I hope he retires he’s taken to much damage.
"Tony is not an elite fighter."
Without getting too involved or speculating about Tony's personal life, it sounds like he's on the right concoction of meds and overall treatment. He sounds stable/healthy for the first time in awhile and this interview is the happiest I've been as a fan of his in years.
anyone on meds for mental ill health should not be allowed to fight consider he has lost 6 in row and now he goes again its far better to retire before the ufc cuts him then the depression will multiply 10 fold, its sad and hard but every fighter has his or her time to stop all respect to tony
This feel like vintage Tony. I like how real and transparent he's being. He finally seems to be self aware of his current situation.
ALL my homies love Tony Ferguson
This is probably the best Tony interview, seems like he’s really in a better place
Tony will always be one of my all time favorite fighters. A living legend. Lots of love Tony.

Damb bro, Tony got me a little emotional. Please win Tony!

Lets keep it real. We all want Tony to get a damn break, just for once. He put in the work, blood, guts, bad luck, you name it, since TUF.
He deserves a damn break.
I totally AGREE with you. Let’s go TONY!!!
I never liked him during TUF but he always puts on good fights, exciting n brutal, can't ask for more.
It's an interesting match up with Paddy,I could see cardio making the difference here.
Tony's is obviously top level but the way Paddy lives annoys me.
He should be constantly training, learning every aspect n improving but he seems to be one of those young fighters who think they've made it n don't seem to improve.
Tony’s gift is making people believe…I hope he pulls this off✊🏾
I can listen to Tony talk all day 💯
this is actually the 1st time I see how Tony able to talk so composedly in an interview. It's quite surprising, hopefully Tony beat the crap out of paddy and get his win
Why do you want to see Tony fight still? This isn't going to be pretty to watch. He's going to lose vs a guy he would have never lost to if he were in his prime. It's getting embarrassing
Tony speaking about khabib shows how much he had respect for him and vice versa . They would have been friends if they weren't in the UFC .
at the end of the day, comes another day..

Tony will always be one of favorite fighters ever, no matter what happens. I really hope we see the old win streak Tony! Show Paddy why you're one of the GOATS!
Tony’s great a stand up guy so much so he’s the type of guy to stand in a recliner and speak the truth rather than lay back and be lying.
Good to hear Tony is making his mental health a priority
I can see Tony Sparking paddy, his power is still there
Come on Tony. This man is an absolute legend of the game and I'd love nothing more than to see him have one more decent run before calling it a day. He's provided one half of some of the greatest fights that have ever happened in fight sports.

This is the only fight I’ve really wanted Tony to win. And it is absolutely possible against paddy
I’m sure Arielle always introduces Tony in this fashion. I feel part of what added to Tony’s coherent speech, was Ariel’s warm and high praises welcoming Tony on the show. also I’m sure he’s comfortable in his car, as opposed to a studio/ around other people.
Despite how we see Tony in our eyes, the guy is still there up top. Though his last fights weren’t great. He had glimmering moments. Hope he gets a big W this next go around! Go Tony!
lol
@RIVALContentJammerz why lol?
Absolutely. He had chandler in danger… he stood toe to toe with GAETHJE!! With that ASSAULT! Bobby Lee? He said in the interview himself.. and I agree with him… he got creative(which has been his trademark), and it went wrong… and he got himself into a serious situation. Anyone who studies enough bjj will know that can happen… you try to get creative and it backfires. Olivera was just a savage… and couldn’t make him tap from that armbar…of course Father Time is undefeated…. But with a few tweaks, Tony could fight anyone on any given night.
@@cadet0013the mental image of comedian Bobby Lee fighting Tony Ferguson is crazy
Tony was never at the top. He had a win streak deserving of a potential title shot certainly, but who did he beat on his way up? Who did he struggle against? He was intensely entertaining and more tough than just about anyone else out there, but he was never the most skilled.
I love Tony so much very inspirational

I love Tony Ferguson. He’s the reason why I watch the UFC.
This dude has absolutely lost his mind. The definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Since the loss to Charles all we’ve heard is “I’ve finally gone back to my old team. I’ve gotten rid of the people in my that were trying to bring me down. I’ve started looking out for me and not worrying so much around those and me and putting myself first”.
He literally says the same thing, verbatim, without missing a single beat. He’s done this for almost 3 full years and 4 more losses. That in itself is terrifying.
You lost to Bobby Green because the fight ahead of you ended “in like a minute” so you didn’t have time to review things with your coach in the locker room? Fights last like 10-15 minutes. He even says this. How about getting all that work in during camp where you have months?
The really scary time will come when (inevitably) UFC cuts him. ONE won’t sign him. Bellator likely can’t afford him. That leaves PFL. I’m sure they’d love to unleash Tony on one of their earlier PPV cards and Ngannou cards.
If you’re a Tony fan or “supporter” or a friend, relative or loved one then that thought should terrify you more than anything.
💯 I actually can’t believe more people haven’t noticed this about Tony. He blames every team he’s been with saying they cost him the fight. Now he’s going back to his original team that he blamed in the past for being incompetent. The guy is completely delusional and is coping so hard. Really sad to see as he is a legend.

@@allen62 bro go watch the interviews just before the Bobby Green fight and you’ll see he is the exact same. Actually watch any interview for an upcoming fight after the Gaethje loss and you will hear the same exact story. I love Tony and I’m rooting for him to win, but delusion is delusion

All the people who wanted to see him lose now want to see him win, sellout hypocrites. Unfortunately it seems to me that the people around him are not good for him and his growth. He should be around people like Khabib and if I was him I would sincerely ask Khabib and his team for help and give it a last go before retirement.
