Also, very powerful commands such as Faith and Time Splicer lead to Wingblade, making its viability much higher

BUH. Dark Impulse is just too slow. Same way I feel about Spellweaver: WORSE. THAN. DEFAULT.
Hawkpath1337 well first of all. spellweaver is problably one of the best command styles. second of all. dark impulse is used by terra. all of terra command styles are default speed. dark impulse is the same thing only that it looks more badass and is stronger .
Ruben Alves Spellweaver is BAD to me. It's too slow, I can't just quickly hit something and cartwheel away like I like to, I have to wait for the whole attack to finish. Ventus D-Link, which I regard as overpowered as fudge, is the exact opposite. I don't even need to cartwheel away, I can just attack like nuts unrealistically fast. SO MUCH FUN.
5: Dark Impulse. Embrace the power of darkness. Plus it takes the usually very unpleasant to play Terra and makes him more fluid. IMO, at least.
4: Wingblade. Ven feels better to play than Terra, and I don't recall wingblade making him that much better, but I like the actual wing blades.
3: Blade charge. Giant sword, feels good to use, it's on Aqua, all positives.
2: Spellweaver. Floatiness isn't exactly the best in combat, but it's refreshingly different, looks amazing, and has my favorite finisher of any style. It's a blast to use and even though it feels somewhat slower than base, I've never noticed it screwing me over.
1: Ghost drive.
So what if there was a style that allowed you to teleport around like a madwoman?
Well it exists and it's the goram coolest. I generally prefer blade charge whenever it actually matters because it's easier to get to and technically feels more impactful, but if I'm not going serious mode I'm going ghost drive.

AT LEAST IT'S NOT SPELLWEAVER. Seriously, fudge spellweaver. When I first went into playing Aqua, Spellweaver was just... ugh, I couldn't use it. I NEEDED to be able to attack FASTER than that.
Wing blade reminds me of Roxas's limit from KH2FM (Wingblade finisher when he shoots the blades into the ground)
Also reminds me of Sora's final form

My number one is Dark Impulse, but everything else prior is the same for me.
Dark Impluse is my fav too. I just love the aura and how Terra attacks.
Dark impulse is one of my favs though it is more for a single target.
Wingblade is the most badass move ever

i love the combo finisher of wingblade where you spin the swords around like a hullahoop kind of like the xiii blade move during riku's limit in kh2 "session".
Wingblade's SFX are all satisfying, the light sounds. oh that feather effect in the finisher too

When it comes to ventus, the easiest to use (in the case of what you need to get in the style) is Rhythm Mixer, as you can use Thunder Roll repeatedly on something to get it quickly.

I swear the Sky Climber Style was the inspiration to Flowmotion.
You'll never see this but in the event that you do I want you to know that your intros for your vids are the best I've seen in CZcams

Rhythm Mixer reminds me of the game "The world ends with you"
1. Sky Climber. I. Just. LOVE. This command style. I spammed this so many times it appeared as the most used in my Aqua file. I'm a sucker for floating and flying in general and this just takes it to the next level.
2. Wingblade. It's a damn useful command style that looks badass as fuck. This is what solidified Ventus as the character with the coolest unique command style of the three for me (sorry Ghost Drive), I would have liked just a little bit of lore on it, it's not like our cinnamon roll can pull 6 ghostly swords out of nowhere.
3. Bladecharge. I am not a fan of Bladecharge because of its slowness and choppy air combos, but I have to admit it's the only thing that carried me through the Monstro boss battle in the arena as both Aqua and Terra.
4. Spellweaver. Second level be damned, Spellweaver is the best in the first level of command styles, its combos flow so well and I love the floaty feel of it (Fever Pitch is very cool but in terms of strength... meh, Critical Impact is too slow for me), of course I would have put it in my top 5 at least.
5. Ghost Drive. I like Ghost Drive, but it's simply not my favourite but just for its finisher, the rest of it is very cool, even if a bit too chaotic because of the afterimages.
Honorable Mentions: Rhythm Mixer (music theme, nothing more to say), Firestorm (KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!)
My top favorite is Spell Weaver.I also love Ghost Drive,Wingblade and Skyclimber.

Did anyone else notice the resemblance between Ventus's Wingblade and Roxas's attack that he does in the battle with Sora? I thought that was incredibly clever to allude to that.

Anyway, both Roxas and Ventus use light magic, and faith/salvation/event horizon/light pillar attacks are both used by them. Sora can use them too.
It is pretty cool how similar the attacks are though
5. Critical Impact (Every time I use the finisher, I yell "BOOM!" It made my dad jump once.)
4. Firestorm (BURN IT. BURN IT WITH FIRE. BURN EVERYTHING.)
3. Dark Impulse (Who knew the darkness was so powerful? Kinda killed Eraqus, though.)
2. Blade Charge (This command style was seriously the only thing that got me through both Vanitas battles as Aqua.)
1. Wingblade (This command style + Bio Barrage shotlock = Total Annihilation)

1. Spellweaver. This command style was what made me fall in love with Aqua as a character. She's just so graceful and magical and it looks so much like Master Form and nyeeeugh I hope we save her!
2. Dark Impulse. Bad guys always get the coolest powers, and Terra is no exception. My personal favorite part is the shadowy claw that comes as a combo finisher - it just looks so badass and cool!
3. Bladecharge. For pretty much all the reasons mentioned in the video.
4. Firestorm. It just looks so awesome!
5. Wingblade. The only interesting thing about Ventus, IMHO.

Yeah, he's a badass, but Ventus is the perfect balance between Terra and Aqua. He's strong, fast and take a few more hits. That's one reason why Ventus is the fan favorite.
Terra is still amazing in my opinion, but sometimes, you need both, not one or the other.

I never played Birth By Sleep, but I have played Dream Drop Distance, and I love using ghost drive as Riku.
My favs are(no order) Dark Impulse, Windblade, Bladecharge, Ghost Drive and Spellweaver
When I saw Blade Charge at #2, I KNEW Wing Blade would be in #1 xD
Those two are just so awesome
Rhytm Mixer and Blade Charge gotta be my fav, mainly Blade Charger cuz it can even stun-lock certain bosses (Iron Imprisioner III for example) though I personally wouldn't agree about Ghost Drive (Aqua loses her invincible frame when evading during Ghost Drive) and Sky Climber (since I can't descend on will unless enemies on the ground)
5. Cyclone: Takes the best elements of Fever pitch and gives you a great ranged, great mobility command style with aerial raids and the finisher has some of the better ranges.
4. WingBlade: name aside it honestly looks the coolest and between that and Cyclone both command styles perfectly fit Ventus gameplay best and the makes up Cyclone's raid range with great offensive chains.
3. RockBreaker: Honestly this command style is pretty underrated in my book since I preferably use it in a more deffensive style which Terra does well at. Especially in Arena I milk the duration of this form against many grounded enemies, and it has great offensive power but it's the finisher which really appeals to me and sorta strikes as a fitting advanced style for Terra.
2. Bladecharge: IMO the most reliable and effective command style in the game simply because of how effective it's range really applies to chaining combos. With amazing on Aqua; it REALLY helped Terra to become effectively hyper offensive since his magic is shit and you really don't get any other Story based Keyblade that excels in reach other than Chaos Ripper and possibly EotE, on Terra with Chaos Ripper and combo plus buffs the damage range and output is insane and does really well for offensive Terra in mirage arena.
1. Dark Impulse: Yeah I'm a Terra fan; and while Dark Pulse isn't as effective as Bladecharge, it's probably the only command style that has any relevance with the main plot of any of the characters story. Obtaining and them using Dark Impulse had a major impact on Terra in his story as well as any of his other Darkness related abilities he gained through the story which reflected his personal progression in character and how much more adept he's become to darkness. Which became a key critical part in my favorite boss battle in the game, Master Eraqus boss fight in which Terra would need to embrace the Darkness to even rival against his master and becomes auto triggered with any style in the fight. In contradiction to Terra's story being more or less about Terra trying to resist the Darkness and Master Xehanort encouraging him to use it tempting him to be its pawn. Dark Impulse is a style that reflects both Terra's and the player (by their choice) acceptance of Terra's darkness in order to utilize it to achieve his goals and willingness to master said power was entire dependent on you the player. It has a power impact on Terra's story given that Dark Impulse was the pinnacle of Terra's power; yet ultimately became the tool of his own undoing.
Not to mention that dark impulse is also ridiculously strong right
For me, Dark Impulse would be number 1. I love being able to use the powers of Darkness, and considering Zero Gravity (one of the best spells) is used to get it makes it even better.
My #1 is Rhythm Mixer, no question. As I've never played the Final Mix version, with the exception of the North American release that came out on December 2nd, I was in for quite a surprise. Rhythm Mixer, especially with Terra and his high strength, is stupidly broken. It just craps all over everything in sight and makes killing anything so much fun.
You know what's REALLY broken? Ventus D-Link. Doesn't even have to be level 2, only needs to be level 1. Just, dat haste. Turns Terra into a Lightning Bruiser, and then he don't take crap from no one.

Terra can use blade charge too. Done it heaps of times before and I played birth by sleep today and I got terra to use it, it can be used by all 3 characters and as for some other command styles some are unique and can only be used by one of them or both or even all 3. I know rhythm mixer terra, aqua and ven can use it as well

My list is roughly the same only I'd sub dark impulse for rythm mixer, but that may change seeing as how I still have yet to use it.
Ghost Drive kind of seems similar to Vanitas' battle strategy during his boss battles while playing as Ventus.

You know what makes sense to me about all of these cool modes that were put into BBS.... I think it could have something to do with the fact that the First Kingdom Hearts game they wanted to make for the PSP was supposed to be The Dissidia game that later got turned into Final Fantasy Dissidia instead of a Kingdom Hearts Fighting game. Which of course is all thanks to Disney's decision not to have their characters be part of a Fighting game. But I think maybe it is possible that some of those modes got transferred over into BBS.

i still have this game but ventus and terra are still my persona favorites cause i like terr's storyline and ventus and i played aqua she's very magic wise!
Chris The Typhlosion Aqua being magic wise is a great thing. i mean, she gets most parts of the story of the entire game. The Last Episode (In order to unlock the last episode, Find all Xhanorht reports and complete all characters story) only had aqua playable. Aqua has the greatest storyline in the game

I'm definitely too late for this , but my most favorite are the following :
Terra's critical impact because it's easy to trigger and powerful with crushing finisher
Ven's wingblade ... Probably his only decent command style
Rythmic mixer because it's overpowered
Blade charge because of what you mentioned and it's one of the few that can be used against mysterious figure
Terra's rock breaker . I might be wrong about this but I think it has a hidden combo plus attached to it .
As for sky climber ... I'm sorry but it's not that great . It's like anti form in Kingdom hearts 2 ... Badass but can get you kicked in the ass . Actually , no ... It's much worse !How ? Well you can't block , you're hanging in the air floating around and you have to get really clever with dodging to stay alive . You have no idea how many times I died because of this command style . It's , in my opinion , the worst powerup in any RPG ,not just the worst command style of kingdom hearts
Rhythm Mixer is my favorite because it helped me kill Red Eyes on proud mode in 1 try.
Wing Blades is similar to Tenchi Muyo's Light Hawk Wings. Wouldn't surprise me if that inspired the creator of Kingdom Hearts.
Wingblade reminds me of Cirno's Icicle Wings.

Cyclone's pretty good too. By the way, I've never played anything BBS related until last Wednesday when I started BBS. I jumped straight in with Ventus on Critical mode. I've almost completed the reports and all of the story up to the Vanitas fights. I've only had a few problems, mainly Disney Town. Wingblade and SkyClimber are definitely my favorites. Blade Charge comes in after them.

I need you to check this out. It has something to do with Daybreak Town connecting to the Land Of Departure. If you listen to the Battle Theme of Daybreak Town and the Battle Theme (Future Masters) of the Land Of Departure, they sound soooo similar it's not even a joke. Although the music is different the beat is exactly the same. And as Daybreak Town's Battle Theme goes into its second verse, it sound similar to Land of Departures Second Verse. You need to do a video on this. This is another clue on how i think Daybreak Town is the Land Of Departure.

Hi. In PPSSPP emulator, I can't perform a shotlock. I've tried L+R then X at max, L+R then inmediatly X, L+R then hold X, etc. I just finished the game but I just can't do it! Please help..
