Attraction flow is terribly designed atm however the amount of people hating on Disney park’s representation is absurd to me.

So for KH1 for me it’s interesting because I am more concerned with what I give up than what I boost. If you give up Staff you lose 2 AP at the start. That is something I cannot allow. This means it comes down to whether I give up Sword or Shield. Obviously if I pick one to boost I sacrifice the other. However I feel in most cases it’s more worth it to sacrifice Shield over Sword. So I don’t drop Sword unless I boost Shield. My playstyle uses a mix of physical and magical offense. It’s also important to note, if you’re doing a level 1 run +Staff/-Shield is your best bet. KH2 I typically go Sword because it’s more fun for me. I don’t mind being delayed on Second Chance/Once More since if you get gud you don’t need them as much. KH3 I go Balance/Sword or Staff. Why not shield? I like the challenge and to quote Jocat: DPSing is just mitigating future damage.

Play kingdom hearts 2 on lvl 1

KH1: What this video implies, but does not *actually say,* is that "Dead of Night" means that you need less total Xp to reach Level 99, while the "Morning" option requires the most. I bring this up as it is not 100% obvious, and miscommunication will occur.

in KH1 the xp gain difference is until level 42 not 50.

you forgot the most important part... in KH1 you MUST pick the rod and sacrifice either sword/shield if you want to do a 100% completion run. you only can obtain max MP when picking the rod, which gives a higher MP pool AND higher magic damage. you can max all other stats anyways. except the item slots which are pretty unimportant to begin with, it's just how many potion items you have ready on quick use. (which means that's the max amount of potions you can use until out of combat, there are a few bosses where it would be helpful, but nothing compared to the MP stat)

Don't know if you caught this, but data miners found KH tracks in the music files of the demo.

tbh i didnt know that the choices effected what sills you got and the kh1 questions effected how much exp you get

I go for Shield in KH1 these days so I can get Guard at the earliest point, and I go Balanced in KH3. I think I'll go with your suggestions for the rest (and either Dawn or Midday for level-up rate in 1).

my original version of kh2 save was bugged in a way that I could not receive the final reward for completing the final underworld tournament. I was always so salty about it and didn't want to do it all over again for the same thing to potentially happen. Doing it again after all these years on steam

Jak & Daxter was one of my favourite games at the time. Jak II didn't do it for me at all though. Daxter was great on psp. I'd love to see a total remake of the first game though.

shield gives you the highest items of 8 sword 7 and staff 6 so shield is easiest also with early 3. acc. and early once more ability

I always pick rod and sacrifice sword in KH1. It’s rough in the beginning but you get a higher MP bar in the end and you can craft Strength, Defense and AP ups but can’t craft MP up

Thanks again for making these guides! I already know this one, but I think having a bunch of recently updated guides for these things that are clearly laid out like this are going to be very helpful for most new or returning players.

This strategy is nice, though I always seem to mess up and can't get him to be trained in a circle. I do the same inputs, but for some reason, it'll send him the other way and into a rock or wall. The moment he breaks out, I'm just dead instantly. Critical mode is no joke. Perhaps I need to grind to level 99 and then take him back on. That and I refuse to fight Marluxia. I put myself through hell in Re:Chain to beat him. I really, really don't want to go through that again. Though, after four healthbars down, he seems to get super armor and my strikes do nothing for a good 7 slashes, then the damage slowly begins to ramp up again. Yet, I cant seem to get near as much damage as Jared does. Possibly because of no Full Bloom+. I dunno. Think I'll try another 10 times then grind to level 99. Then I'll attempt again.

KH1: +Rod/-Sword KH2: Shield KH3: Balance and Mystic.

This is making me want to do a Proud/Critical run of KH1-3 now. The only games I’ve done a Critical run of are DDD and BBS, and I never even finished BBS because that game’s Critical mode halves your damage output and feels awful

something satisfying about clicking into this video and seeing that every single method I use is what you use. Only difference is I use thunder for the wisdom form grinding, just because that is what I am more comfortable with.

Jared, there are 3 more ways you can level up easily in Kingdom Hearts 3. 2 of them are in Monstropolis. On your first visit to the world, right after you go to the Door Vault for the first time, you need to protect Sulley and Boo from the enemies until there's enough power to turn on the door. Waves after waves of enemies appear and this battle only ends when you trigger the "Monster Strike" Team attack. You can level up pretty quickly there. Especially if you have the Ever After Keyblade, which has a devastating Finish command that covers a huge area. The 2 way is after you get stuck in the Power Plant basement thing, and again, you need to protect Sulley and Boo until there's enough power to turn on the machine. Again, waves after waves of enemies keep coming and the battle doesn't end until you, guess what? That's right, until you activate the Monster Strike Team Attack. And the last way is the 10.000 enemies battle right after you enter the Keyblade Graveyard for the first time. That battle is literally infinite and you can level up pretty quickly there, too. Especially if you have both Ever After and Highwind Keyblades, both with powerful Finish commands. The battle is only ended if you trigger the Magic Mountain Roller Coaster Attraction Flow. Also, in this battle, you have access to ALL YOUR SUMMONS and Attraction Flows, so yeah, easy level up, for sure. 😊😊😊

If you play on Proud or Critical Modes, Dream Shield is the best. You know, better defense against more aggressive enemies. 😅😅😅 On Begginer Mode, I usually pick Dream Sword, since I attack much more than defend 😂😂😂

I usually go with the sword simply because I prefer to smack enemies in the head over casting spells or doing defensive tricks

I always found it cool that when you Ultima in KH1, it's the closest thing to having the sword because it has a blade in it's design. Since you can actually get the wand and shield in the game, you can't get the sword as it is in the beginning.

It’s actually not excellent: excellent implies perfect emulation or even enhanced. The emulator has frame pacing issues that will manifest randomly. Not to mention the horrid scaling of all 2D elements

Any chance you'll go over pro or easy codes?

My choices depend on which difficulty I'm playing at: KH1 - Beginner: Choose Sword/Sacrifice Shield, Final Mix: Choose Rod/Sacrifice Sword, Proud/Critical: Choose Shield/Sacrifice Rod, Journey: Dusk. KH2 is the same, but obviously without the sacrifice. KH3 I've only played on Standard difficulty and I go with Wisdom/Mystic.

My picks for KH1 are as follows: Choose Sword, but Sacrifice Magic. The reason why I do that is because early Scan is always nice, and I am more of an aggressive attacker with the Keyblade. I like to brute force stuff. KH2: I choose Sword because again, I like me some brute force. KH3: I choose Balance and Warrior because of the same reasons for KH1 and KH2. I also like Balanced stats in my RPGs because I want to deal damage and take damage as well. Basically, "jack-of-all trades, master of none" kind of deal. I play however I want to play, and that's fine by me!
