These 1981 commercials remind me that the 1970s didn't really end until 1982
The VERY first time a home video logo would be shown on a major television broadcast. Did not know that till just now.
I was 10, these are awesome to see again!!!! 😎
Funny how they had the home video intro on the network tv airing.
Probably a VHS master, plenty of them at the time.
When G-TV first aired Mary Poppins in 1997, the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo was shown.
How did you know?
@@LDFE2002 A friend told me.
@@ThompsonnwWow! I guess they used a 1987 VHS master.
@@LDFE2002 Indeed they did.
I love the Richard Simmons Show 29:10 and Richard Simmons is a good person. May God give him eternal peace. My heart and my condolences go out to his family, and friends, but to his fans. I like Richard Simmons. He always seems so happy on TV and in real life, but he is also a lot of fun. RIP Richard Simmons 😢.
This Week Was The Final Week Of
Las Vegas Gambit On NBC Daytime
Man, I miss Toys R Us. These little sections of it in Macy's now just don't cut it, I miss the actual stores. From what I hear, they still have them in Canada.
Gale King now is on CBS MORNINGS (still airs on her old station, WFSB, now is owned by Gray media group)
On the open, the earliest mentions of the "From The Berkshires, To The Sound--From Wherever You Live..." Spiel that would carry Over when they get the Television byDesign graphics three years later..
I love seeing gayle!
This is probably one of the few times a home video logo aired on television, are there any other notable examples?
4:45 that didn't hold up well.
No kidding.
Man, Betty Crocker must have paid for a lot of commercial time that night lol
Very much a Post-Newsweek station.
With a GANNETT-esque news set.
Gayle King hasn't aged!
Heck no she hasn’t. In fact, she was only 26 old here.

This Would've Been Aired On
ABC Television Network
Since This Is A Walt Disney Movie
On their cross Town rival, WTNH?
@@videonut1988 No, All ABC Stations
Disney did not own ABC at the time, and they wouldn't buy them until 15 years later.
@@samuelcarrasquillo4590, WTNH 8 IS one of those ABC stations.
Disney wasn’t affiliated with ABC until much later. Mary Poppins premiered on CBS. I saw it.

L'EGGS SHEER ENERGY PANTYHOSE FLIGHT ATTENDANT COMMERCIAL 11:06
There's Erin Gray in a L'eggs Sheer Energy Pantyhose Commercial. Nothing beats a great pair of L'eggs.
Well it's 2023 and worth 33 trillion dollars in debt that's where wasteful spending will get a country that's why inflation's at an all-time high and the dollar is losing value and as the dollar drops inflation will rise
