Okay, this comment is going to be a long one 😅😅😅.
I remember it was the year of 2006 when I was a little boy and I visited Srinagar. It's been 12 long years, but the memories of that place are beautifully engraved in my mind till date and for many many more years to come. Sailing on the Dal lake in a Shikara and sipping hot kehwa. There was this garden we visited. It was a huge garden, but unlike others it was a secluded one.
There was a local restauranteur with a small shack outside the garden. He invited us for lunch and had set up a dastarkhan for us in the garden itself. The lunch comprised of goshtaba and yakhni and tandoori roti. The taste was very basic but his "mehman nawazi" was something that I still cannot forget. There was this restaurant called Mughal Darbar which served some lip smacking kababs and pulao, and early morning they would serve hot bakrkhani which would be so rich that one would be enough for 2.
There are soooooo many memories of Kashmir. I was a boy of 11 back then😅😅😅.
And last but not the least that time I had fallen in love with my hotel owners daughter 🙈🙈🙈. She was 2 years older than me 😂😂😂. Your video brought back so many memories. I'm glad that this video was shown so that I can keep on refreshing my memories by looking at your contents 😊😊😊😊😊.

Bro pls note its not real wazwaan and i seen your videos on youtube and i like very much i suggest you if you want ti eat real wazwaan that will available only in kashmir these kind of wazaan that you had eat are very ordinary in real wazwaan there are so many dishes i personally invite you come and enjoy the rael flavour of wazwaan here in kashmir especially in srinagar.

I think the effort of the restaurant is commendable. Yes it isn't authentic because outside Kashmir one has to adopt to little bit of local taste. For example the size of the dishes was small. In Kashmir the size is two times bigger. And the selection of dishes is also small. In Kashmir there is huge variety. As the chef said there are 36 different dishes so it is not possible to have that many. Even in Kashmiri functions usually we serve upto 15. Outside wazwan Kashmir has also a huge cuisine. I think you should try that also. Also Kashmir has the best native bakery culture in south Asia. We have an amazing variety of breads. I think you should give them a try.

Its really amazing that the plate did not contain "Matschgand". The items are some of the items that is there in the kashmir cuisine but yes tabak maas and saak is something that is compulsory in the food.

Whenever I ordered mutton Rogan Josh, they served me just a spicy version of mutton curry. They put onion, garlic, tomatoes and anything they find in kitchen. Onion, garlics is not an ingredient in Authentic Kashmiri Rogan Josh.
On the other hand i have been fortunate to experience Tabak Maaz. It is chest part of lamb cooked in milk and then deep fried.. its just tastes awesome...

I once went to Jaipur and there is this amazing restaurant Zarpar serving authentic kashmiri cuisine. From Delhi went to Jaipur and came drooling over kashmiri cuisine, not Rajasthani. That was an experience.

I've been to this Chor Bizarre looking for authentic Kashmiri food. It's the best place to get a taste of pure, authentic Kashmiri food. I had the Tarami which is the full thali. It consists most of the important plater of dishes. Unfortunately, Rista was missing. However, I could easily give 5 Stars to this restaurant for the Authenticity, Ambiance, Taste, Portions etc. You name it and the Restaurant nails it.

Been to kashmir 7 years back, hand Rogan Josh at Ahood's, was disappointed even being recommended by all. But loved the food at Nathus sweet's, breakfast is amazing, had the best dahi puri ever, they have variety of paratha's & best spring roll which we take away before heading to boat house.

Have tried waazvan twice or thrice before. It was quite similar to what you tried today. Achha laga dekh k that in Delhi also u can find waazvan. The only thing missing was yakhni. You must try mutton yakhni curry and pulaos.
