    Hey kid whats up!!! This trainer had a defect that they fixed... The more trainers you have the easer it is to train especially for you moving around to so many places.. Its nice to see your Girl riding. This Trainer is perfect for her. Get your neo back ha ha ha

    Love the way you say Tacx Flux! Sounds so Mich better compared to how all the UK people say it. they say Tax Flucks

    Good video, very helpful but would appreciate a side view of putting bike onto the chain and how it sits.

    I hope you have success with this Flux. I had 4 replacements from Wiggle. There is a problem with the belt and also the pulley. I also found metal shavings on the magnets. I now have the Bushido and its good enough for Trainer Road.

    Nice, however I prefer Tacx Bushido - much easier to install your bike (no need to use additional casette, just change the wheel, attach your bike and go) and it doesn't require power supply (power in generated by you via pedaling, and you can train wherever you want). No problems with Bushido after 5-6 months I was using it. It is also worth to mention that tacx training software is meh - imo not worth the money, instead you should include in your budget a subscription to Zwift.

      Tom McFly Yes, Bushido is very good as long as you use the correct tyre. Had mine for 2 yrs...no problems. Had lots of problems with the Flux.
      Try trainer road, it's far better than Zwift

      No prep needed. Just some bolts to attach the legs to the body. That’s it.
      Yeah you need an extra cassette (rear chain rings) so maybe look into that.

    Hey Jasper, ik ben van plan om komend najaar ook een Tacx smarttrainer te kopen. Op dit moment twijfel ik tussen de Neo en de Flux. Vanwege de buren is een stille trainer belangrijk, dus ik vroeg me af of je veel verschil merkt qua herrie tussen de Neo en de Flux (aangezien de flux een stuk goedkoper is, zou het wel mijn eerste keus zijn :-) ).

    • @rh3426
      @rh3426 Před 6 lety

      Ok. Balen dat de Neo zo duur is... maar goed, dan moeten de buren het verschil maar bijleggen ;-)

    Hey Jasper, zo te zien heeft de Giant fiets een 3x10 groep, is dit met lange- of korte kooi derailleur? De Tacx Flux zou een lange kooi derailleur niet ondersteunen omdat deze dan tegen de behuizing van de Flux loopt. Zelf wil ik een tweede fiets (3x10 Shimano 5700 groep) voor indoor gaan gebruiken met een passende trainer.

      Jasper Verkuijl Bedankt Jasper! Ben ook wel benieuwd naar jouw mening/ervaring over de Flux. Misschien kun je hier op een later moment nog eens een review over posten, zou ik erg waarderen.

    What was the tool you used to guide through the lock ring and then used the wrench on? The little thingy that you screwed on and then unscrewed after you locked the cassette in there, Is that included or did you buy it separate

    I had a chance to test ride the Neo at my local bike shop this week and my fist impression wasn't all that great. This was my first time on a turbo trainer. The biggest issue I had was not being able to lean while negotiating the bends of the road, the bike being fully fixed, which made me feel sick and want to throw up. The Neo allows a little bit of rocking side to side, but still far far from what experienced on an actual bicycle. Probably the 50 inch TV screen was set up too close to the bike and perhaps the experience would have been different if it was my bicycle fitted to the trainer too. Maybe it is something I would get used to over time, but I would never spend £1k pounds on this trainer. I would rather spend that money on a pair of better wheels. I also noticed the power numbers were so much below to what the pedal power meter installed to my own bicycle displays, and I calibrate it according to the manufacturer's instructions. But I understand that these turbo trainers can be paired with my own power meter and display the numbers it registers, right?
