@@maher39maher36 I’m not sure they’ll leave if we finish eg 7th and they’ve gelled into an improving team but I agree if we’re eg 15th-17th we’ll have no chance of keeping them….. they’d bring in a lot of £££ which we’d spend on young players we could mold…. But I do feel more comfortable with the current board than I have for a couple of decades. They seem to be playing it smart…..they don’t want to expand too quickly and Bielsa likes a small cohesive squad which indeed he has created

A fully fit forshaw would be a massive boost. In my opinion. Doesn't give the ball away, knows when to get forward. Was clear to see Bielsa rated him before his injury

Forshaw pretty average player never been a big fan.... he’s a good guy personality wise but if we are honeslty using forshaw been back as a reason to not sign midfielders is ridiculous... forshaw wasn’t great before his injury and after 2 years out I see him if anything been worse than before it’s a long time out of the game to then step and and play premier league level... typical of Leeds tho pin hopes on forshaw been the guy to help us in midfield I think we are wrong

As some people have said, we're two injuries from being farked. If Pat and Kalvin get crocked we are in trouble. If it happened early I totally trust MB to sort it over the course of the season. But if it happened after Xmas we could defo go down. Angus Kinnear sounded a little bit complacent TBH.
I know Bielsa likes a small squad but ours is very small. 3 or 4 injuries and we've had it. Lost Pablo Berra Alioski Davis and some other lesser players. Junior does not replace all these. Needed m/f last year. Now desperately need 2 imo.
Nandez, is a name that's not going away. This is the type of player we need NOW. We need a player who can pick a pass, no use having quality upfront if you can't get the ball to them.

@Crawford Boon llorente is quality. Had a good run in for a large part of the season after Christmas. I thought though Rodrigo was a bit of a gamble especially because Bamford is Bielsa's first choice AND we paid £29mill for him, don't forget JKA!!!!!!! people forget. They go for deals which only have at best a 50% success rate...... Let's hope we can start to put things right with Everton or it could get ugly if we get the next to games right. Any less than 9th in my opinion is regression.

It's already been a disastrous window. When we have to play our first game against "that" team with an incompatible partnership of Rodrigo and Klich, no natural LB, and an over reliance on KP, it's just not good enough, naive at best, incompetence worst case especially seeing these problems last year, it's an absolute pig's ear cock up. Any business has to invest and project for worst case scenario. I thought VO wanted players in early window to become settled. Angus Kinnear's comments about if players become available at the right price is taking a huge risk. Small squads are not conducive to success in such a competitive league. What is the "project 'they keep talking about, developing our under 23s?I'm sure we'll have the best up and coming team in the championship... Feeling pissed off with what was such a positive return last year. Pathetic!!!!!!

Bielsa continually refuses the players Orta offers him. It’s him who wants this small squad. If it was up to Orta, we’d have far more depth.

The problem with trying to buy anybody from Spurs is that Levy has a policy of always asking for more than a player is worth and you need to improve them a lot to even get them to the value of what you have paid. Conversely when Levy buys he always wants to pay a lot less than a player is worth, the rumours around Phillips that Spurs were offering less than Villa had when he was a Championship player if true show this. In either case he won't budge.

Summerville & Gelhardt should be moving towards the first team. Just watched the U23 highlights and we smahed CryPal 3-1. This U23 squad is brilliant.
So the loss against the scum was devastating but in a way it was a good thing, a reality check of where we are right now and where we want to be. I think the Man U loss will help us like it did last season. If had had this kinda loss against Liverpool I we might of finished higher than 9th. Yes we had an amazing first season back but just look at how we approached the big games after the loss last year. So on that I hate to say this but I'm glad we lost cos we can only improve from here. MOT

Is there any possibility with camavinga coming in I remember us linked to him earlier and I don't see any other club coming in for him and a bid around 30-40 mill should get him or this one completely off the table. Plus we should have a decent relationship with Rennes anyways after raphina and camavinga would know melsier also so I see it as the perfect fix in our midfield especially since a bigger team would grab him before Bates really makes a impact

Bate has a lot of potential and is great on the ball, but when it comes to being press resistant and tackling, Jenkins is way ahead of him and he’s also nowhere near ready for first team football.
If we aren't bringing anyone in, someone from 23s needs a chance. In a game that's already done, last 10/15 mins, see what they are made of.

Sorry Connor, I don’t agree we need a Harry Winks. Leeds need a midfielder with a bit of technical ability in the midfield. We have a lot of runners in midfield but no one who could receive the ball under pressure and drop a shoulder. All our midfields when put under pressure either goes sideways, backwards or we lose they ball. Pogba and Fernandez was classic examples of beating our press with ease. If our wingers are out of form, the whole thing falls apart. MOT

Wasted a lot of possible attacks by stopping the game in the middle to do some dribbling and then lose the ball and stop playing.
