I was completely blown away by how quality theone Falcon is. Mine came perfectly tuned, and the weight, sound, and flippyness were insane for the price. I hear theone's alien is even better but I absolutely hate the way it looks haha.
I ordered my Falcon and it will arrive in a little over a month, I'm glad to see so many good reviews about it, just a little worried that the shipping takes so long. Btw I also think that the Alien is ugly which is a shame.

For the falcon, you could always put a small piece of tape on the safe or bite handle to differentiate.
You probably shouldn't have to do that, though. However, they do have mismatch handles for the trainer and live blade. The trainer is still MUCH better, though.

@@Pinnkie heard alien is better for live blade, for trainer its preference, but it all still depends
Falcon is more heavy on handles and alien is neutral

Got The One Falcon trainer a couple weeks ago and I like it. It doesn’t have tap and is way fun to flip. I own higher end knives and still find myself picking it up. It makes a great beater for relatively inexpensive.

I have all 3 of those myself. Definitely agree with your assessments. The Falcon is good. The second one (forgot the name) takes a LONG time and A LOT of oil to really break in and start to feel decent to flip. The CYOZ is only good for one thing... effortless uncontrollable fans. Haha. But the handles are definitely way too light to do much else.

That is why they put the latches on the knives. So you can tell which is the Sharp side, that is one of the reasons for the latch.

Theone arrow is the best trainer and it is a theone original design and only $25! Aluminum channel construction. Runs on bushings! I had mine for a couple yrs. , but I cut out the center piece because it was a tiny bit blade heavy.

I just got theone falcon in blue I'd say it's pretty good for the money my view on the clones are that yea it's probably not good but if it gets you into an alpha beast a year down the line and you love flipping that's a win in my book

I’m very surprised the g10 one didn’t fare better in your opinions. Mine came perfectly tuned, and has become one of my “daily three” rotation. I almost always carry a light G10 flipper, a heavier G10 one, and an aluminum channel flipper, just to practice on a variety, and that lighter G10 handled one I find myself loving. The Falcon is good, yes, but I like that other one from TheOne as much, if not more.
I’m only a few months into flipping, though, so inexperience may be a factor. Great vid, though, AS ALWAYS!

Indeed! Also, it was so cheap, I don’t feel bad about beating the hell out of it, which I’ve definitely done (and still no tap…)! Soon (ish, with this IATSE strike looming), I plan on getting a real Nautilus, and then I’ll be A REAL BOY!
That's awesome that you enjoyed it! I think coming right off of interacting with the Falcon may have tainted our view of the G10 one (TheOriginal). I was in fact disappointed by it still though, but I'm really glad you enjoy yours!

Gyrationknifecorp is top tier in quality in my opinion. Ive been fortunate enough to buy their V1 (not that good flip-wise) and will soon be getting their V2 which will be going to be significantly better. I hope to hear your thoughts on it more thoroughly in future videos! Always a joy to watch your reviews and I look forward to more!

@@WillHirsch I just always have them around because I build PCs, keyboards, I do airsoft... I use screw drivers for a great many things and iFixit just has a *lot* of great bits in their kits!
