So I'd just like to say literally for me I had to delete both the cmd and server folder and just try again literally no changes just for some reason it didn't create the files after running so if you're looking for a saving grace, just try doing it from the start again.

just followed how to get the first part work great
the only spot i was like wtf on the last vid is where you lost me again here 2:00 or so. i have rustserver and rust on the same drive so it didnt matter. BUT you keep saying "where you have RUST installed", and seems like you meant where you have RUSTSERVER installed(or about to install it). that makes more sense than RUST. hence the name of the folder c:\ *RUSTSERVER* \.
thanks for the refresher though. its been years since i installed rust server stuff and your vid worked for me first time :)
does this use your computer as a server for the server to run?
could you help me, my command prompt keeps saying "Asset Warmup (7912/11342)ders removal was intentional, you may have forgotten turning Fallback off?" how do i fix it?
It tells me the same thing but still runs the server

Asset Warmup (1/10983) Camera (TOD_Scattering) This is also another issue i have it just stays at 1 even after an hour and my computer is quite good
I've gotten that message everytime i loaded the server and then RustDedicated Crashed.
Don’t run RustDedicated.
Run the batch file we create in the video. Rustdedicated is a premade file that comes with the server installation. You do not run it
Press enter to skip non critical errors, they can appear quite often.
@@log_81 This is what i have been doing for the past 3 times and followed the video more accordingly each time but it still seems to not work although i have done everything correct that is explained in this video and the other. I have a pretty strong gaming laptop but maybe it doesn't meet the requirements or something is being blocked and ruining the whole proccess. Nothing seems to work for some reason even after doing lots of research on the topic.

my server wont boot after i add the oxide mod file to mod my server but when i dont try to mod it the server works fine
You will have to run a file that will overwrite some folders in the server. I have some info in my discord under #faq about this :)
I can't still figure out the problem when it crashes every time after asset warmup. No additional errors in the cmd
uninstall game server, verify game files, reinstall server and try booting it.
Make sure your PC can handle it too, if it isn't great, the PC may not be able to handle the game and the server at once, which can result in it crashing.
I followed your instructions exactly and it doesn't work. The CMD prompt looks weird, text is scattered everywhere. You seem to have left out some major things, like where does your Steam ID go? How do you properly shut down a server so you can start it again without building a new world? How do you properly install Oxide? I haven't found any tutorial that is comprehensive and up to date. I last set up a Rust server 2 years ago and it worked, but I really don't remember what I did.
Wait, it does work despite the CMD looking weird and error messages. But it would be nice to know how to shut down and start the server without wiping, and how to get Oxide installed
Hi! I’ve noticed as rust changes the game, the process varies a bit. The CMD will be scattered, it’s pretty much running the same code as if you were loading into a server, it is expected to show errors and random, info, that’s normal. I have information on installing oxide in my discord under the FAQ channel. Before you install, verify your rust game files, and ensure you follow the tutorial to the exact process.

What is going on with your audio? It's going from loud and clear to barely audible 2:14 into the video. Keeps on doing so throughout the video.
There may be an issue with your browser or computer. The audio is fine, but CZcams can glitch out. Restart your browser.

Make sure you delete all the servers and whatnot and try from the beginning, verify your rust game files on steam too!
