- On our Ultimate World Cruise today, we tour La Serena Chile. Tge La Serena Chile area is known for its beautiful valley, quaint towns, massive grape production pisco distilling, and good food. We toured around La Serena tasting pisco, taking in the views and enjoying a meal cooked only by the sun. This is another case on our ultimate world cruise where we had no idea what was there, until we learned from the locals all the area had to offer.

I've watched so many documentaries about cruise ships, and one thing i know for certain, is that cruises are good for you (as long as you don't overeat). The food is all FROM SCRATCH no preservatives no extras, just quality food made fresh daily. You can not beat that!!! Plus, adventures keep you moving and you get to see all of those beautiful places! I'm so happy i found your channel, because i've been contemplating doing a world cruise - or even spending a good portion of my retirement on a boat and away! I may be aging myself but one of my all time favorite sitcoms is "The Love Boat" have you guys every seen it? Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and your smiles and GOOD ENERGY!!! We are working on just that kind of update. Currently because we're a little bit of head of the videos were going through Hawaii and then we have several sea days and we're looking at putting out a video of an update. We're also looking at doing a live stream where everyone can join us and ask questions.

One thing that I love is that it's clear that you two are best friends. There are some couples who wouldn't make it spending so much time with one another with all of the little natural annoyances. I love the way you look at each other and your interactions. Okay, reactions now:
- As a foodie myself, solar cooking sounds amazing! I looked and you can actually buy one of those big dish things on Amazon, because of course you can. I'd be terrified to burn myself!
- Frankie Valli tribute band sounds GREAT! I'm with Nancy!
- Great to know about the sushi making class. That's offered on both of my upcoming Royal cruises and no one wanted to do it. Of course it's sold out on both cruises now, but I'll have to keep my eye out for it for the future, even if I end up doing it by myself!
- The CLIFF HANGER! I can't wait!

What a treat to go around the world with y’all! Will we see total expenditures when you’ve completed your journey?
That’s a good suggestion. We’ll think about it. As for right now, the cruise was 70,000 per person and we budgeted about 20,000 for excursions. But since we’ve been on the cruise other than that, we haven’t really spent anything. Just a few small souvenir Christmas ornaments.
It’s so nice to hear positive stuff from this cruise. All I’ve been getting from has been those entitled and clueless TikTokers.

We have felt safe. Also, Royal has skipped a couple of ports when there has been any safety or security concerns.

What happens with cleaning your cabin on this UWC? Does it still get serviced daily? Are you still finding your cabin like home? Enough room etc? Do you spend much time on your balcony?

Thanks for following along with us. Yes the cabins are serviced once a day. We had our choice of an evening or morning service. We picked the morning service. Our cabin Steward is wonderful and will take care of anything that we need. Yes we've found the cabin to be spacious enough, but we do spend a lot of time outside our cabin. The main things we do here are sleep get cleaned up and frankly edit videos. Thanks again for watching and can't wait to see Australia

Ive been on many trips and those people are always in the bathroom or the gift shop..LOL.I took my class on a field trip once to a solar ranch .They made our whole meal with solar power and that was 20 years ago!Love frankie Valle!!!!The movie i watch continually! Its called jersey Boys!!!

Hi Nancy question you guys mentioned you purchased some pisquo sour is that alcohol and if so do they hold it until the end of the cruise like normal cruises to the Caribbean? Also do they offer storage areas if you wanted to purchase something rather large since you are visiting so many great places. Sorry for tge questions, but you guys are visiting such amazing places I would definitely want something from almost each place.😊
Great questions. Pisco is really equivalent to wine and his world cruisers. We are allowed to have wine in our rooms on the ship. And no, they would not store anything large in the way of souvenirs. They have stored some of our luggage. If I were going to buy something large, I would have it shipped home right away.
6:20 curious where do you change your currency at every port/ country?
Typically no. Many places right at the port will take US dollars. Also, many places will take a credit card. We did bring along some euros when we get into the European countries. Most of the time if needed we just use an ATM.
Was the dog you were petting part of security or is someone traveling with a service animal?
He belonged to someone there in the security area.
I don’t want to be disrespectful but between Arica and la Serena you have Atacama desert one of the most arid places in the world. Also Valparaiso is a UNESCO heritage site and there is one of Pablo Neruda’s houses that can be visited. I think those places are not popular destinations for cruises and difficult to navigate
for massive tourism but definitively worth a try. I would love to go to the Atacama desert.

Typically, no, but I’m sure to only have one cup of coffee in the morning when I have a tour to go on.
