1980s living on Main St EVERY DAY. There were actual skaters here then and bangs, safety pins etc etc going behind a church to smoke and hearing people coughing on the way back. It's nothing extreme, happened many places. But it was a very fun period, it happened here in the Midwest. It'll never happen again anywhere, of course there's no way. Now look at what We've got, absolutely nothing just about anywhere. I know why older people are so grumpy. I get it. Cuz eventually everything sucks except memories and the timeless Music etc etc from then. And honestly alot of Us didn't know about this great movie then. I didn't until 1989, I admit. But it's the closest thing to then here 86-89.
Just watch the movie not seen it since it came out in 1983 still Just as good as a i remembered it was punk before this came out and I'm still the same to this day punks way of life to me and not a fashion all the best from old punk rocker from England 🇬🇧
Listening to this now after all these years is mind blowing. After decades I just looked up TSOL and it brought this soundtrack up. RESPECT to all Gen X

There's a great goof in the scene where they're driving to the house to steal the yard where Jack says, "Where's the house Flea?" and he notices the line flub a couple second later, laughs and says, "Hey my name is Razzle man!"
White laces in the Doc's or red. Black nylon Bomber jacket with orange lining. Shaved head. Ski cap for me, & carharett jacket with cuffed jeans, & all black chucks. Ya I fycking miss em days. Smh

Dude those kids always epitomized punk the idea of true punk for me. Might as well be living in a post apocalyptic gone to shit America because I noticed real punks truly didn't give a fuck no matter what lol.
love this movie Rip Roger Coreman

The funeral home scene was filmed on Toberman and Venice Street near downtown L.A, I lived about a half block away from there. 🙂
Oh hell yeah that’s really cooll!
This movie formed my youth...

Absolutely fantastic film...some of the scene in this film remind me of my youth.... something I will never forget
My favorite is when Flea makes Easter eggs with his blue slushy at the convenience store 😂😂😂
Had a white 12 inch Mohawk when I first watched this. Respect to all Gen X

Starred a young Flea from RHCP as Razzel, loved is film. Still love the music at 53 years old. Old punks just get grey and have kids ;)
Was it filmed before he left RHCP to join Fear?
Yeah he is the self-appointed barber. Every household needs one, especially with his personality.

I like to see the recent comments for this music/film. Honestly, punks are an idea. I love how they view the world. They are very poetic.

I like this version of darker my love
Best movie because it was so bad. Watched it soooo many times! Slayer covered Richard Hung Himself.
Dude, totally agree! Love Slayer's cover BTW
Pat brown version here is the best!
I wish I was at this show

i wish the “score” parts were longer and on a double LP, but we both know that aint happ’nin
Did they repress this ever??
@@meatforyourmom I've only ever seen a repress that LOOKS like it's from the mid to late 80's. There's a bootleg cd from 1990 floating around too.
I wish the instrumental from the supermarket scene was added to the soundtrack because that was the best instrumental from the movie in my opinion
