- Follows the life of three friends, T.J., Mack and Kleber. When they were young, something happened that would haunt them for the rest of their lives and they would each achieve notoriety in their own way. Kleber would become a journalist. Mack would get by on his looks and would become a movie star. And T.J., who has a dark side, would run all sorts of scams and would somehow become an evangelist.

Complete TV Mini-Series. Was taken from Starmaker VHS which was duplicated in the EP speed. That being said, there are some tracking problems here and there despite this VHS being new condition. Decent quality, nonetheless. - Hudba
Watching part 2. Damn remember it first time around as a 11 year old but obviously didn’t understand it then. But watching it now, it is thought provoking, ahead of its time. With great acting snd script. Better than some tosh you see today!

I literally fell asleep at James Whitmore's monotonous monologue, woke up, and it was still droning on.
Boy Debbie Allen was "Gangsta!" It kind of reminded me of A Series of Books that take place in Daytona, Florida around 1947. There's a Private Detective named Ronnie Grisham who along with his Associate Howard aka "Howie" Kirkpatrick go in The Black Section of The Community to find out some information. They see some Black Guys play Cards who bow and briefly nod at them, and for them it was very challenging. They have to live in "Their" Section and they can only go to the White Section if they have a Work Permit. Even today I don't think it has a strong Black Population.

Is this second part in a different format to parts 1 and 3 please ? As I want to save this series I saved parts 1 and 3 no problem but part 2 keeps telling me it's copyrighted. (I can understand it if they were, but why only this one)
