I was sat on the edge of the couch and then standing up, then sitting , couldn't sit still, and as it got to 3rd,4th, 5th places and still nothing, was starting to stress, leaving us until last was *CRUEL*, especially when it turns out we were 2nd overall in semi-final #1 (and
won that televote..!) . It took me hours to calm down!
Ukraine is now currently the only country that has never lost in semi-final before since they were introduced back in 2004!

I was in the crowd. I can tell you that the cheering for Ukraine was far more intense than for anything else during their performance. I think announcing them last should be considered abuse against the audience because I bet many people will have to visit a doctor tomorrow due to damaged vocal chords from all the cheering after all that suspense.

Yes, Romania great topic, great song, but only a jury qualifier, bc her vocals in the live show weren't that good, also i would have loved, if she had kept her original outfit, so I kinda understand why she didn't qualify, although there's a chance that her vocals in the Grand Final would have been better, I mean, we know that she can sing. And furthermore, other people with weak vocals like Isiah (Australia) were still able to push through (and failed again in the Grand Final), so why not her as well? Maybe she's of the wrong gender and her home country isn't a big financial contributor to the EBU. They even struggled to pay sometimes. And as for Albina, juries wanted to have her in the final, televoters wanted to see her again as well, yet she didn't push through either. Why? And yes, she should have worn her Dora outfit instead, nowadays, girls wanna see strong women, not sexy dressed ones, and boys might acknowledge the looks of a sexy dressed woman, but they would probably rather vote for male performers anyway. And it's not just a cliché that many of these male performers is gqy anyway and they're probably not attracted to women, regardless of how sexy they're dressed up. Ninth place apparently wasn't enough, even though juries put her in 10th place. To be fair, it was a strong year and she probably would have made it through in 2022 or 2017.

Depends on how you count but Sweden has participated in the final most times since 2004 excluding the original big4 countries. Sweden has only missed one final. When Ukraine did not participate in Eurovision 2015 and 2019.
Russia did not participate in Eurovision 2017, and they did not advance to the final 2018. Australia first participated in the competition in 2015 (and in 2021 they did not go further) Azerbaijan first participated in 2008 and they were eliminated in Eurovision 2018
