can u do a video on buying and holding sports cards i am more interested in buying and cashing out years later
You got my Sub!!! I've been collecting cards most of my life and I've been buying & selling on EBay for years now. I'm glad someone finally put out a video aimed towards educating the new people in the hobby. Great video.
This answered literally every question I had about getting into collecting cards. Great video!
Dtddtt
Is there any good tips in buying in eBay

The title of this one is Sports Card Investing, not Sports Card Collecting. There is a difference. Thank you!! I am subscribing.
35 now, stopped collecting when I was around 18, just really got back into collecting in the last 6/8 months and WOW the game changed...thank you for this video!
Me and u have the same story....wow times have changed...this will be fun.
I came back in the game, went to local card shop.. "Where is this months Beckett?"
sharplikecheddar2 haha! That’s gold! I’m 37 and was obsessed with basketball and collecting cards back in the 90s as a kid and still have some of those becketts
@39 I'm willing to bet we have similar stories
Same, except I'd give my left huevo to be 35 again. This is gonna be fun for sure.
Great content. Really enjoyed the video. A few things that were not covered. 1) flipping versus longer term investing, 2) Selling on EBay - know the fees and your break even point, 3) Wait times on grading, 4 ) BGS sub grades 5) buying on instagram/facebook. Maybe topics for card investing 201. Lol. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate the insight. Although I've been collecting over 20 years you quickly brought me up to speed on methods to determine current value. Very much appreciated!
Amazing video my man , just the introduction I was looking for to get in the game
Thank you for providing an excellent accurate viewpoint for those that do not have that view.
Nice job Jeff. Even as a seasoned collector I can always learn something new. I didn’t know about SnoopCard! Keep em coming...

Dude you’re the man THANK YOU!

Got my sub amazing video! I haven't collected since the wax days and it's super confusing coming back to it. This reallllly helped. Great content!!
Thank you so much. These videos have been very informative as i go through this new journey of investing in cards... thumbs up
Your videos are great mate. Been collecting for a while as a hobby and understand alot but now wanting to get into investing so good to learn this info about what particular cards to collect
Very clear and fundamental knowledge to get started in the sports card hobby/ investment game. Im a returning collector after several years away from the hobby so this information is particularly useful as many things have evolved since I've been away. Thank You!
Just started getting back into buying and collecting. I really enjoy all your content very informative
Best video for all new sports card investors! Im new to the game and I felt 10x more knowledgable after watching this! Thank you
As someone newly interested in the hobby I appreciate you sharing your knowledge ,thanks. Great video from Ireland
I’m probably going to refer to this video several times. Thanks you for sharing. Though it’s not for investing, cards breaks are fun on CZcams and a great place to “chat” and learn more about the hobby too.
I have been enjoying this channel even as a experienced collector
"Cut out the noise." Excellent advice!
Amazing info here. Super helpful. Thanks!
I had some “slot machine” luck yesterday…went to Walmart ,they had one blaster of 2021 stadium club left so I bought it. Ripped and hit a case hit redemption for a orange beam team Luis Robert on card auto #’d/5!!! I was pumped already have $450 offer for it…goin to wait till it comes in and send it in to get graded
I'll give you 569
Really great video! I am going to start getting into this now that you have put me on the right path
Great video. I have been buying and selling for years and couldn't think of anything you missed.
Wow!!!! that a video!!!!!.... thanks to share your knowledge
Thanks Captain O! I needed that!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I haven’t collected cards since the 80s and learning how overwhelming this industry has become. One of the best things I got from this video is to reduce the noise and it took me a while and a fair amount of $ before I had this realization. I love collecting football numbered autos from my favorite team - the Vikings as well as NFL Legends like Namath, Staubach, Tarkenton, etc. Thanks very much for your awesome videos!
Great info Jeff!
I also would like to add that theres variation images to some of the prospect and rookie cards that can be worth much more than the standard image rc card...
loving these videos..keep up the great work Jeff!
Yes, great point! Thanks for adding!
Great channel thank you for all the info!
Your videos are top notch sir. Id love to pick your brain for 20 minutes or so sometime! Keep up the great work!
Another great video. I'm just starting and this is super helpful
Massive Fan. Great job!!
You should do a best buys under $5 video next
He doesnt care about $5 cards hes rich
There really is nothing under 5
@@jimmyburchette403 not much now anymore...but the comment is 1 year ago, there was a lot stuff for under 5$ which are now 50$+
StiKz wow
bro
I am very new to sports card investing. I believe I will start with rookie cards. Thanks for the video.
Liked and subscribed , outstanding information thank you for making this episode
One if the main reasons the NT Vertical RPA’s are more than the Horizontal is primarily because of grading. When the card it slabbed it will be upright. Most Horizontal cards in general will not sell as high as Verticals in most product.
Good point!
Yes they definitely don’t really look that great in a slabe in my opinion as a collector
This video is amazing...I have been collecting baseball cards since 1967..back then it was not about investing...we just enjoyed them...I continued to collect through the junk wax pack era...still loved it....never really knew how to invest in cards.....you are AMAZING my friend!!!...I'm hooked
My brother you are the best and very helpful. GOD BLESS YOU
This is what I was looking for! An updated video would be helpful and I think the hobby is growing. May be worth it for the views, unless nothing has changed. Thanks for the great content
Some very helpful tips. Thank you.
thank you for your guidance!!!
Great video man. You were very thorough with everything you covered. I wish this had been around back when I was first getting back into the hobby.
There's just absolutely no way that a more informative video exists on this topic....Nailed it. Subscirbed & Shared.
This is a great resource. Thanks for putting this together. If I could make a suggestion for a future video, make a video that reviews your ten commandments of sports card investing. There's a ton of good info in here but it would be nice to see a concise list.
Thanks for the info. I haven't collected since the early 90s and this is helping me catch up.
I'm in same boat collected from 87 -94 baseball and football...strill have found memories of saving lunch money to buy cards In gradeschool
Great video, very informative, learner a lot thank you
Thank you for this video! I just started collecting again. Haven’t since the early 90s. This video has helped me so much! I just subbed!

1 of my favorites very good episode
I’m new to sports cards investing I learn from Geoff as a private coach by just watching his videos., very smart man
Amazing video, THANK YOU!
Yeaps, the first 10 minutes of this video has changed my life.
Great video! Individual packs are fine if it’s at a reputable local hobby shop. I’ve had more luck with that route compared to blaster / hobby boxes.
hey man thanks for this lengthy rundown. I'm a pokemon collector maybe looking at sports cards so this was very helpful
Nice and Pokémon has been rising so quickly so good on you for being a long time collector. You can even do some trades into sports cards if you like
this was a great video, amazing job
Fully agree with Optic, Select and Prizm for football but definitely don't sleep on base rated rookie cards.
individual pack info was great
IM going to half to watch this video again, and take notes!
I stopped watching it. Grabbed a pen and paper and started rewatching it. Now I am planning on putting all that info on my phone and having it handy in case I see something that has good value
2 years later and this video extremely relevant lol. thanks jeff
Thank you for the info, I’m looking to get back in the hobby after being out for over 10 years.
Nice and welcome back! I bet you must be sitting on some absolute gems and I’m sure you’ll really enjoy seeing the value on some of those cards
I collect unopened boxes if my favorite players are on the box top.
Learned a lot ! Great content
Excellent video, thank you so much!
Thank you for this man! Looking forward to potentially carrying stock market experience into this new venture!
This has been hugely valuable advice for my son and I who have started collecting together recently. Thank you so much! One question - do you have any tips for circumnavigating huge postage costs with us collecting from Australia?

A cool series would be if you started from scratch with 100 dollars and tried to grow that to 10k with sports card investing. Document every step!
Awesome video, thank you!!
This is a remarkably helpful video. I'm getting back into cards for 1st time since 1995. Things have changed juuuuust a bit. Whether through extreme knowledge of players or another type of edge, is there any way to stay ahead of the market? If everyone has the same knowledge and opportunity,, seems difficult to separate ourselves from anyone else.
Great information, I do buy psa 9 modern cards though if they are parallels or low number mintage especially if it's a good deal. I buy for my personal collection right now but have been considering buying to resale for profit. Do you have a video on when the best time to sell yet? Thanks
Just came across this video, thanks for the info. Do u recommend topps for football cards from the 80s? Looking at making a nice investment in some sets from the 80s.
one of the best videos
