Hang in there with the heat Ray. When it's hot & busy here I may take a morning or afternoon off & that helps re-charge my batteries. I do some monthly gardening, but not monthly mowing, it's too hard on the machines with too much growth. 👊💪😎...... 🦘
What i have learned about weed killer is its all about the timing and the ability to spray a fine mist. The misconception is "weed eat it low and then spray! WRONG WRONG! I DO NOT weed eat then spray- You must mist/spray on full plant leafs so the poison is on the full plant- and it does not take alot - after u spray if you get a little rain a couple hrs or a couple days after then the spray really works great. If you dont get rain or you weedeated it before you sprayed or the weather is below 60 degrees then the spray tends to not work as well. So u have to calculate when rain is coming. Rain really activates it after its had a chance to dry on full leafs for a couple hrs or days. For instance on this fence line it rained about 5 hrs after i applied it- and It took another 6-8 days for everything to die- What u see dead on fence line was sprayed about 5 weeks ago (right before this drought) and took probable about $6 bucks worth of spray. In the past i have even went back and sprayed water on area that i sprayed killer on if we have no rain to activate it. Also when i spray i tell customer it will look like we didn't weed eat but give it a few days and it will all die. The weeds must be in a state of actually growing for best results. here is a link to what i use.
