Great footage I am always watching it every 2 weeks during bus trips. German aviation never fought for the nazi but did for saving country. Salute to all honorary German fighter pilots specially to Franz Stigler. A true gentleman.

One thing, starting at 4:15 I believe these attacks were the allies bombarding Germany's roads and railways causing famine and illnesses in the camps, that is why the people were so sick in the videos we all saw. At the end of the war there was no opposition anymore so the allies were shooting anything that moved, horse carriages, trains full of people and after the fire bombing of German cities light fighters took over chasing people in the streets and in the parks, many Germans lost their minds trying to run from this insanity, a sad chapter in human history signed Churchill.
Many polish and Ukrainian citizens probably lost their minds running from the straffing of the luftwaffe. I get that that doesn’t justify what happened to German civilians but it is important to keep context in mind. Just cause the war was at its end doesn’t mean the hatred caused by German actions over the past years was satiated. At the end of the day tho, that war is over and we must learn from it and move on. No one truly wins in a war, especially a modern war.

If you mean the shooting footage then it's not from American fighters. You can cearly see there 2 lines of tracers fired from 2 guns, however all US fighters had 6-8 guns. This is definitely footage from Ju-87 Stuka which had two 7 mm guns or two 20 mm cannons in later variants. Edit: for example, from 5:17 it's definitely Ju-87 D5 Stuka with two 20 cannons MG151.
