    The only payer i can think of that left peoples jaw dropping is Kobe , MJ , Steph , and Derrick rose . exciting players that made some incredible moves wether it was through finishing at the rim or shooting. Derrick rose to me though may be the number 1 most exciting player iver ever seen . He made moves no one else did . Just incredible speed and athleticism and body control but it his legs couldn’t handle all that and came the injuries.

    All those people who said Rose doesn't play through injuries was summed up in Lisa's first sentence. Rose was playing THROUGH a sprained ankle. It was Rose playing through small injuries that led to the ACL tear in the first place, that is why Rose is cautious now, which brings on the haters. Rose used to play through injuries all the time.

    • @Dom2K
      @Dom2K Před 8 lety +13

      +J. I. Lacdan I dont really think that led to his ACL injury he just happened to land wrong, it happens.

    • @turtleislandlac1490
      @turtleislandlac1490 Před 8 lety +62

      When you play through injuries it affects how you move. You don't move the way that you normally would. Other injuries increase your chances for more. You're missing my point, my comment wasn't really about the ACL tear, but the fact that Rose used to play through injuries all the time and people forgot that.

    • @gmac3335
      @gmac3335 Před 7 lety +32

      True. Luol Deng even said the reason Rose is so hurt probe now is because he always played through minor injuries.

    • @hvllacozy2634
      @hvllacozy2634 Před 7 lety +30

      J. I. Lacdan exactly. Rose is a reason why so many players nowadays (especially young players) rest through little injuries. They look at him as someone so young with so high a potential, that got hurt PLAYING THROUGH these "minor" injuries.

    • @cakesandpi

But Rose was a beast and I think he can come back to maybe averaging like 20 and 6 maybe after this upcoming season. Or even maybe this upcoming season. Ok ttyl, gotta sleep got school tomorrow lol

    This was the height of Drose's career. 44 points and 7 assists in the second round of the playoffs. MVP of the regular. The most acrobatic creative and athletic players in the entire league. Lead his team to sixty+ wins. As a twenty two year old with only three seasons under his belt. He could've and should've gone down as one of the all time greats.

      Butler has zero chemistry with Rose, he should score 8 points a game, gets rebs and a couple assists, he's average, he started shooting too much in 2016, got a couple lucky games in an overall inconsistent season, and suddenly he's an all-star and they give Rose away to keep him. Good thing for the Bulls is that they got Rondo now, and Rondo loves passing the ball, Wade and Butler will thrive with Rondo creating shots for them.

    Ahh OG derrick rose, wishing he gets back to attacking the basket every chance he gets, doesn't have to dunk or do anything fancy, attack that rim and get that foul, still my number 1 player overall

    He’s gonna end up being the only player in history to win an MVP and not make the hall of fame.

      Deon Nelson nah, he doesn’t have the numbers. If Tim Hardaway and Kevin Johnson (both have better career stats than Rose) didn’t make it, then Rose won’t either.

      Zach Williams It's not about his numbers it's about impact the NBA loves Derrick and he was the youngest MVP ever which is going to help.

      Deon Nelson Hall of Fame is a career achievement. Rose had 3 really good years at the beginning of his career, and not much else. Also, you can argue that he only won that MVP because of voter fatigue, and LeBron really deserved it that year.

    Dropped 44 with the slow ass Thibs offence and make the other team miss Defense, Kieth Bogans, Ronnie brewer and Deng as shooters with the exception of Kover the Bulls has little to no spacing since Noah, Boozer, Taj and Asik are all playing in the paint. If he stays heathly then you get, DRose, Jimmy, Melo, Taj, Noah and vets, shooters to fill out the bench. D-Rose probably already got a championship under his belt just looking to add more. 2014-15 this is the team to beat with a Prime D-Rose.

    Ironically the Jazz cut Derrick Rose and left him out of the game after Lebron had him traded from Cleveland. Then Derrick comes back and his first starting game he drops 50 points on the Jazz! Yes, Derrick got injured but Derrick isn't a superstar because he got injured. Derrick isn't a superstar because teams don't want to take the chance of paying him the big money and then having him get hurt again. Derrick is still killing. Derrick comes off the bench and plays 23 Minutes and he's still the leading scorer on the Pistons. No team wants Derrick to break their heart knowing that the way he plays would be great for their team but because of the way he plays as it is related to his injury that would break their heart is they give him the money that a player like him should receive and then he goes down to an injury. The league is trying to ignore his talent and call it a career. Their thinking is he was a Rookie of the Year, A Bull and an MVP at least he has that. Derrick can flat out play. And if he can help any team reach the playoffs if he's playing the point and a starter. Underrated? There was Isiah Thomas, There was Allen Iverson. There is no other point guard in the history of the game that could match Derricks's speed and his dominance. Westbrook is a hot second and his body of work has already gotten past Derrick. Westbrook is the next point guard to join that list of Thomas, Iverson, and Rose. Derrick just needs to get back to the starter's position and he'll do just fine.
