Whoever he decided to pass to got the points and it took away the spotlight from Melo scoring since he is a ball hog and loves to attack the rim with 3 dudes on him which is stupid basketball. Once they brought the new coach in, the good plays being put forth by Lin and the others suffered in favor of Melo. Even in this game you can see a number of times Melo made bad decisions and couldn't finish.There are interviews with that team about why Lin was traded, Amare Staudemaire was quoted saying that other players didn't like Lin being the rising star, other players being Carmelo Anthony.

Ajay Bandagonda He was never even close to being as explosive as westbrook during his first 3 seasons. He just ran full court and left his teammates behind, which any player can do on the fastbreak. During rose's first 3 seasons, he was faster and quicker than both, and could run full court in just 3 ball dribbles. In fact he did it in the Vegas USA game last year. Guy can change his speeds and has the calves of a gazelle. Think a sports show did a segment on rose's athleticism. before those injuries, he was a fine specimen. Lot of people don't like to factor in genetics. Look how long it took westbrook and wall to "catch up" to him, after 3 years. And wall still isn't even averaging mvp numbers.

Before injury and rose started playing more cautiously their was literally no difference in the explosiveness and athleticism between the 2. Rose was basically the better version of Westbrook because he's kinda faster, use to play just as explosive, and was the smarter player for a team.
