റവ കേസരി 😊👌😊.. (RAVA KESARI)

RAVA KESARI
1. Rava (Semolina) (Sooji) - 1cup
2. Sugar - 1 cup
3. Ghee - ¼ cup
4. Nuts broken - 15 to 20
5. Kismis - 15 to 20
6. Cardamom powder - two small pinch
7. Saffron(opt) - 15 to 20 strands
Preparation
Preparation
1. In half the ghee, fry the cashew & kismis, remove, followed by rava.
2. While the rava emanates a fragrance & slightly golden, add saffron added boiling water stirring very well till done.
3. Add the sugar, keep stirring till half done, add the remaining ghee sautéing well.
4. When the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel & rolls into a small ball without sticking to fingers, remove & add the garnishing items (4, 5 & 6) & stir.
Serve hot or cold.

Teacher superb recipie.. likes all ur recipies which r easiest... one doubt pls clarify, I am from Trivandrum. In my house we don't cook any non veg on Deepavali day. But my husband house they cook either chicken curry or mutton curry on that day saying its must to cook non veg on that day. Pls clarify is it correct?
